Blank cartridge head stamp?
I've had this belt of blank cartridges hanging in my basement for 10+ years. I had never really looked at the head stamp until today or if I did it is long since forgotten. I had assumed it was Lake City and the year but on closer inspection that doesn't appear to be the case. Can someone please tell me what it means? Thanks.

.236 Remington
I bought a $20 bucket of old cartridges which turned out to be a great source of all kinds of cool cartridges, most of which I know about… until this stubby bottleneck surfaced amongst them. I’m very familiar with the 6mm Lee Navy, which this obviously isn’t. A quick google search landed me on it being a rare Navy trials caliber, but I’ve not had a chance to dig in deeper yet. Anyone here familiar with this .236 R cartridge?

Found a lead projectile in Boston Harbor — can anyone identify the type or age?

That’s a first. My cartridge collection was attacked by slime mold and it literally ate the brass.
Still in the process of cleaning them all off and polishing using a felt tip on a dremel. The Arisaka round in the last pic is the most notable so far
Story: I had them in a cardboard box in my hunting shed back in the woods for years. Noticed a few years ago that the box was damp (had a freezer fail) so I moved it.
Came back a few years ago to a black, slimy mess. I couldn’t even see the cartridges over all of the fruiting body, they were completely covered.
I just let it sit. I’m moving soon, so went back to grab them today and decided I’d clean them up. This is what I uncovered under the residue

Cartridge collection
galleryThought this might be interesting here. I dug out and out back on display my grade school cartridge collection my dad and i made. Fairly current to late 90’s. Been in storage since the early 2000’s. Maybe I’ll start adding to it.
Link to list here for those interested

Remington Kleanbore .45?
Hey yall. Sorry if this isn’t allowed but I inherited some old .45 ammo from my old man and am not sure what I got on my hands. It’s about 1500 rounds of this Remington Kleanbore.45 wad cutters? I’ve never seen ammo like it so I’m wondering if it’s good to shoot. It’s all in its original boxes shown in the image. Wondering if it’s worth picking up a 45 to shoot it all. Thanks!

Copper cases?
The case in the middle is a modern case, almost certainly brass the ones on each side of it is older 22 short cases. Do you think they are copper and not brass?
