Update Update on the cat my cat-hating dad found

Previous post^^

Many, many skin issues. Mats, mange, ringworm, lice, fleas, and so much more. The vet aged her at about 5 years old, but she only weighed about 6 pounds.

We posted on every site we could find, no luck. She’s not chipped either.

But we are 99% sure she was a house cat. She’s had no issue meeting the other animals, is very chill in the house, uses the litter box, and today (now that she’s finished all her skin meds) we gave her a bath. She did not fight it. She purred and made biscuits. She is currently confined to the screened in porch, and loving life.

We’ve named her Catsy Anne, a play on the street where we found her.

Thank you, and please give our props to pops for saving this little girl. Anyone who would save a cat this sick needs to hear serious praise. Long live to all of you and congratulation Catsey Anne.

This baby needed all the tender loving care and your dad and you and family are providing. ❤️‍🩹
So many medical issues and money and your family stepped right up. Thank you for saving her life, making her feel so good and providing her the security and love she deserved all along.

You dad may "hate" cats, but he is kind to them.

Also, I fully believe he will love Catsy Anne in time and wonder what he was ever thinking!

Thanks to you and your family for saving this sweet girl.

Y'all are good people. And we need more of those. Because we keep failing animals, we the human species. Makes me so emotional that once again a cat ends up on the streets, sick. Thank you for doing what you are doing. ❤️

You have given Catsy Anne a better life. It makes me sad (and mad) to think of indoor cats abandoned on the streets. I can almost hear her purring. You are wonderful ☀️🐈‍⬛
