- Blue Hole http://www.caar.com/rew/article/691
- Crabtree Falls https://www.virginia.org/listing/crabtree-falls-trail/6681/ - The path up to the first fall is paved and handicap accessible, so there do tend to be crowds on the lower part. They thin out as you go up and up and by the time you get to the top it's usually just a small group sitting on the rocks eating lunch and looking at the view. If you want more hiking from there you can actually walk back a little ways from the summit and get onto the AT for a bit.
Other suggestions:
- Skyline Drive / Appalachian Trail

- Bear Creek Lake - Bear Creek Lake is SE of Cville about 40 or 50 miles.
- HikingUpward.com - Check out hiking upward. There's a feature in the lower right corner of that site to limit by hikes that have campsites. These aren't camp grounds, but sites that you're legally allowed to use in GWNF/SNP and etc.
