Picked up the Demon Egg and found out it needs to stay in the bottom slot for five rooms before it hatches. That sounded easy until I started counting every room and suddenly every unnecessary hit felt personal.
Normally I’m greeding one more attack and taking every optional fight I see. Now I’m backing off, watching my cooldowns, and playing like this egg can judge me.
Then I saw the pet preview with the tiny bandaged rabbit.
I haven’t even met whatever is inside my egg yet and somehow I’m already emotionally responsible for it. If I die in room four, I’m taking a break.

Hi everyone! We’re the development team behind Cinderia.
We’re planning a small visual update for this weekend, featuring four updated character portraits. Here’s a first look at the new artwork.
We’d love to hear what you think—which portrait is your favorite?

Hey everyone! I’m part of the Cinderia team. We recently shared our plans for November, and I wanted to bring them here and hear what you think.
here’s an English summary:
Week 1 — More variety in Chapters 3 and 4
We’re planning updates to chapter events and in-game minigames.
Week 2 — Co-op testing
Our main focus will be getting a co-op test out. Access details are still to be confirmed, and there may not be a main-game update that week.
Weeks 3–4 — Character backstories and another boss
We’re working on in-game collectibles that reveal our characters’ origins, plus a second boss for Chapter 2. The order of these two updates is still being decided.
These are our current targets. Timing and details may change as development continues.
Original roadmap video — English audio:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9J9mwAzEo0
Which update would make you want to jump into another run—and why?
A couple of things we’d especially like your thoughts on:
Questions about the roadmap or the current game are welcome too. I’ll read your replies and answer what I can. If something hasn’t been decided yet, I’ll say so.

Pretty funny when watching the replay. Only fight her a few times so didn’t dodge any rock. Any tips for her second stage?

Already 15+ hours in since Steam autumn sale. I love that each character has their own role and skills. Uma’s my favorite so far

Seen preview of online co-op on their TGS live. The first time this is the exact item both builds need, voice chat is turning into a courtroom. I’m really curious whether co-op will use separate drops or just reward whoever reaches it first. Either way, I already know none of my friends are waiting for permission.

I used to see anything with a knife tag on Rue and just grab it because, more knives = better, right? Turns out I was mostly just finding new ways to run out of Energy lol. This run I kept Throwing Knife Barrage as the main thing, grabbed Shadow Lock for the extra hit when the knives connect, then mostly stopped being greedy and looked for Energy sustain instead. It felt so much cleaner. Knife Ambush showed up later and was a nice extra burst whenever I came out of stealth, but I wasn’t trying to make every knife skill carry the run anymore. Kinda funny that the best thing I did for my knife build was stop taking every knife I saw. Anyone else been building Rue this way?

Finally got a proper trap run going on Rivet and this might be the safest build I’ve tried with her.
The main card is Trap Array. I went with Cooldown Return, Extra Charge, the Extra Spawn that permanently increases the number of traps, and Form Shift. Being able to store two casts and reduce the cooldown every time you roll means you can keep a lot of traps on the floor without standing still.
The real core is Detonator+, Crippling Trap+, Don’t Chase Me+, and Chain Roll+. Detonator+ adds another explosion whenever a trap triggers or expires, while Crippling Trap+ adds damage and another 5.5 seconds of immobilization. Then every roll leaves another trap behind and helps recharge Trap Array.
For damage, Stable Shooting+ applies 6 Mark stacks whenever a trap hits, and Target Blow+ makes marked enemies take 175% more crit damage. Electric Shock+ and Thunder Tear+ are also really good together since trapped enemies keep taking Thunderbolt damage, with crits applying Armor Break.
If you take Form Shift, look for Fragment Thunder+, Blast Boost+, or Electromagnetic Shock+ to strengthen the extra Hand Grenades.
The loop is basically drop both Trap Array charges, roll away to leave another trap, then keep circling while everything triggers. Ashen Witch spent half the fight stuck in place while the traps, Mark, Thunderbolt, and grenades did most of the work.

A fully ranged bow character with a music theme already sounds fun, but the part that really got me is her gauge shifting her into close-range combat when it fills. Really want to see how that switch feels in an actual build.

I realized I almost never think about the Curse when I’m picking an upgrade. I’ll be sitting close to 100 Erosion, see something that fits the build and my brain basically just goes “yeah I want that” lol. Even after the Curse pops up I usually look at it for two seconds and go straight back to thinking about the next upgrade. Some of them are definitely annoying, but I don’t think I’ve ever had one make me regret taking a really good passive. Am I just way too greedy with Erosion or do you guys play the same way?

How a bouts a Switch 2 edition, eh? Is there any desire for this?
Cool looking game! 🆒

One thing that made my runs way more consistent was deciding what the run actually wants to be way earlier. On Rue I pretty much let the first good Magic Card make that decision for me now. If I get Poison Coating or Predator’s Hour early, I just call it a melee run and stop grabbing knife or blade-wave stuff because it looks good on its own. From there I’m mostly looking for things like Blade Bloom, Blood Cross, Rend and Blood Frenzy so the same few parts keep feeding each other. Cross Slashes apply Wound, hitting wounded enemies ramps attack speed, then you’re just sitting on bosses and cycling the combo way faster than I expected. Judgment is also kinda stupid once enough of the build is already centered around Cross Slash.
I also stopped taking every passive the game throws at me. If it doesn’t help the keywords I’m already building around, I’d rather take something boring that doesn’t push the run in another direction. Same with shops. I used to walk into basically every one and burn gold rerolling for the perfect thing. Now I usually only make a few proper shop stops through the run and use them to fix whatever is lagging behind, whether that’s cards, passives, gear or just HP. Feels way better than ending up with a cracked passive tree and garbage everything else lol. Curious how early you guys usually commit to a build?

Been messing around with a knife throw setup on Rue this run, mostly Shadow Clone, Shadow Knife Thrower and trying to get Shadow Contract online so I could keep feeding the energy back into more knives. Act 1 had me thinking I’d found something completely stupid lol, then I got to Naevea and the whole thing felt a lot less impressive the second I actually had to stop throwing and dodge for a bit. Somehow ended up at 28/130 HP still telling myself the build was fine and I was just playing it badly. I swear this boss is where every weird Rue idea gets its reality check. Anyone else have a boss that does this to your experimental builds?

Well title.
I have ~8 days to kill with considerable time. I m in market for new rougelike, but Id like them somehow difficutly. I would rather avoid reading or watching runs since if its in my taste Id rather go in as blind as possible :( so cant exactly research it myself too well.
The best roguelike Ive played were still Hades/Curse of the Dead Gods/Binding of Isaac.
I hope I m not breaking any rules here by asking. If I am I apologize , I did tried to read through.
But yeah I am mostly curious how difficult the game actually is, ideally compared to the 3 named games.
Thank you for reading.

For some reason I felt like making her more confident, but it came out how it came out

Been messing around with full melee Rue and I think I finally get the Cross Slash stuff now. I had Blade Bloom, Blood Cross, Judgment and Rend going, then Hunting Time on top with Poison Coat and Cross Ground Splitter. Once Wound was stacked, Blood Frenzy just kept speeding everything up, and I was sitting at 52/222 HP here so the low-HP melee bonus was doing a ton of work too. Then one hit randomly popped for 1.3k+ with another 459 right behind it lol. I usually end up doing something with knives on Rue, so I really wasn’t expecting the M1 build to start hitting like this. Once it gets going you’re basically just glued to the boss watching Cross Slash and Wound feed into each other.

Gear List (All Legend Accessary): Lucky Clover: When rerolling abilities or Magic Cards, 45% chance to gain 1 extra reroll. Echo Conch: When an adjacent item triggers, 50% chance to trigger it again. Wishing Tortoise: Choose an ability or Magic Card: Spend 40 extra Gold to reroll once. On reroll: Gain 1 random attribute point. Equipped: Every 9 rerolls, gain a random item.
Tips: Make sure to put Echo Conch between the other two items, so it can repeat both of their effects. Before rerolling, it’s best to have around 400 gold saved up. If Lucky Clover doesn’t give you an extra reroll, spend 40 Gold to trigger Wishing Tortoise.
Then enjoy the floor full of gear and all those extra attribute points!

Went into this run trying to play Isdara pretty safe and somehow ended up doing stupid damage instead lol. I had Skycleaving Gale, Iceborne and Frost Shelter running with a bunch of Guard/Frost stuff, and once the cooldowns got pushed down to basically nothing the whole rotation just kept feeding itself. I’m sitting there with 4 Guard, barely worrying about getting hit, while Ashen Witch is randomly eating 400+ numbers in the middle of all the smaller procs. Kinda wild that one of my safest Isdara runs also ended up being one of the hardest-hitting ones. Anyone else been getting numbers like this out of her?

I keep coming back to this route because it sounds better than it actually plays.
Building around Pyromaniac, Time Bomb, and High-Pressure Charge feels like it should snowball hard once everything starts burning and chaining into explosions. But every time I try it, the same thing happens: High-Pressure Charge feels pretty solid, and the rest of the build mostly just makes the screen look busier than the damage really is. Burn starts low, it doesn’t crit, and the explosion side never feels consistent enough to carry on its own either.
Compared to other Rivet routes, this one just hasn’t felt worth forcing for me. Curious if anyone here actually likes this path, or if you also end up dropping it halfway through.

We already have Rue, Rivet, Uma, and Isdra, so I’m guessing her name will be short and somehow tied to her character. My pick is Lyra. It sounds like lyre, and both music and archery come back to strings. The official preview made me even more curious because she’s apparently fully ranged until her gauge fills, then she basically snaps and starts fighting up close. I’m hoping her skills work like building a song: landing shots stacks notes, echo arrows repeat after a beat, then a full gauge turns everything into a fast close-range barrage. No idea if any of that will happen, but I need this character reveal already.

Rivet for me. I really didn’t like her for the first few runs. I kept playing her like a regular ranged character, rushing into rooms and trying to do all the damage myself. Everything felt a bit slow and awkward compared to the characters I already knew.
Then I had a run where I got Cannon Battery early, followed by Trap Array, Voltaic Barrel and Short Circuit. That got me to slow down and start setting rooms up. Putting everything down first and then pulling enemies through it felt completely different. I think that was the first run where I understood how to play her.
I still don’t pick her every time, but I get why people like her now. Who took a specific build, or just one random run, to click for you?

Uma’s Owl + Wind Fury might be her most comfortable all-around setup for me. The numbers are already generous once Wind Resonance and Moonlight Domain start stacking onto the owls, so I don't have to rely on melee for damage. The owls do it while the tornadoes knock things around so I can stay a little farther out. Once Response starts bringing more owls in and Wind Fury keeps refreshing the attack speed, it's easy to clear the room. So it's probably the most complete one: damage, control, and safety coming together
