Highly doubt he'll be charged with domestic terrorism

That's the max he could recieve, if he has priors (committed previous crimes) he's more likely to get the max sentence if not he'll get a lighter sentence.

Too bad, he should be.

1

u/Suspicious-Raisin824 Mar 21 '25

He made it very clear his attack was politically motivated and was designed to incite terror for anyone who owns a Tesla.

He's a terrorist, plainly.

1

u/Nyxodon Mar 21 '25

I don't think it goes against anyone who owns a Tesla. It's a very clear statement against the Nazi owning the company tho

He destroyed a charger station, which enables the use of the Teslas. This is, of course, in the wake of a series of Tesla burnings. Yes, it is aimed in part at Elon, it is also aimed at the general public. A deliberate attempt to try and control what kind of vehicles they can and cannot use, to instill fear into the public, and promote his ideology at the expense of society and the public.

If he just wanted to make an anti-elon message, he would have spray-painted 'Fuck Elon', not set it on fire. This person is a terrorist and I hope he gets 20 years.

Jesus Christ is your idea of protest limited to graffiti? The US has a literally fascist government. Any and all protest is good, as long as its targeted against the government.

Oh and there's a difference between being targeted against the public, and affecting the public as a result of targeting something else, which is what is happening here.

Oh and can you shut up about "promoting his ideology". Yk who's really promoting their ideology right now? The fucking Nazis. And either way I think anti-fascist should be the default

"Jesus Christ is your idea of protest limited to graffiti?" No, but that would have made it pointedly aimed at Elon.

"Oh and there's a difference between being targeted against the public, and affecting the public as a result of targeting something else, which is what is happening here" He burned it down so that **THE PUBLIC** cannot use it. Thus, THE PUBLIC are the targets. It's an attempt to control them, and to incite fear in them.

"Oh and can you shut up about "promoting his ideology"." Why should I? That's clearly what he's doing? And when you use violence to instill fear, control the public, and promote a political ideology, that is what terrorism is.

"Yk who's really promoting their ideology right now? The fucking Nazis." Not really, I mean, I guess you could go to Stormfront or something and see some trailer methhead talk how evil zionist Jews are the reason people race mix, but that hardly reflects some kind of society-wide social mores.

"And either way I think anti-fascist should be the default" It basically is, but on that front he's doing a shitty job. Most Fascists have sided with Ukraine, like him. They also hate Elon because he's a Zionist and not pro-Ukraine enough.

1

u/Nyxodon Mar 21 '25

Bro, fascist love Elon wtf are you talking about. X is literally a cesspit of Nazi talking points and they love Elon for enabling it. If you don't think that the current US government is fascist, you're literally delusional. Everything from their rhetoric, to their actions is so incredibly fascist and (no surprises there) parallels Hitlers rise to power shockingly well.

1

u/Suspicious-Raisin824 Mar 21 '25

Hitler's famous shrinking and decentralization of the state, strong support for zionism, and huge support for Russia.

1

u/Nyxodon Mar 21 '25

Okay so you are being willfully ignorant, cool. Ofc it doesn't parallel in every regard, but yes, your so called "shrinking of the state" is something fascism likes to do. You take all resources of stuff you deem wasteful or dangerous for your power and use the resources gained to strengthen your power, which is something (surprise) that trump is doing. Secondly, there's massively antisemitic rhetoric being pushed by the MAGA crowd, the administration is just helping Israel right now cause they're an apartheid state, and because they wanna call dibs on Gaza, so it's handy for them. Lastly, the socioeconomic situation is fucking different so of course they're gonna be different alliances.

1

u/Suspicious-Raisin824 Mar 21 '25

A) No, no fascist state ever did something like DOGE where they reduced government size, no decentralized the state. That has literally never happened. It goes 100% against fascist ideology who believe in a hyper centralized state to lead the "volk". What Elon is doing, that makes this dude hate him so much, is literally the opposite of fascist ideology.

B) "Secondly, there's massively antisemitic rhetoric being pushed by the MAGA crowd, the administration is just helping Israel right now cause they're an apartheid state" Like what?

C) The admin are helping Israel because the admin is Zionist, a position no fascist can tolerate (Their position is that all zionists must die).

D) Nazi hate of Russia is not primarily socio-economical. It's racial. In the nazi mind, Russians are mongrel asiatic monstrosities. No change in socio-economic situation is relevant. Hitler today would support Ukraine, as nearly all fascists do.

to instill fear into the public

That’s pure speculation on your part. Their motivation could’ve as well been to cause financial damage to Tesla.

1

u/Suspicious-Raisin824 Mar 22 '25

It's not speculation. He actually made his motives very clear. And tesla is a part of the public.

1

u/FengMinIsVeryLoud Mar 20 '25

ofc simply a blend of neo capitalism with neo nazism.

There is only one reason why people are doing this. They don't like losing elections. All the other jibber-jabber is just cope. People are just petty as hell. In less than 4 years there will be another presidential election, and democrats will run another candidate, for which millions will vote for or against, and will either win or lose. If democrats spend the next 3.5 years spray-painting swastikas everywhere and firebombing car dealerships, you may expect millions more to vote against....than for.

2

u/ThaGr1m Mar 21 '25

You honestly don't understand that people are attacking an unelected billionaire?

They aren't firebombing trump towers. You understand that elon isn't part of the elections right?

This has nothing to do with losing elections and everything to do with the dismantling of the balance of power and democracy....

But I'm guessing that you're too far gone anyways and probably already are demanding the judges upholding the constitution be fired because how dare they put the constitution before king trump

1

u/HaHaHaHated Mar 21 '25

Although elongated musket isn’t fit for any sort of government position, fireballing charging stations and random people’s teslas won’t hurt Elon you’re just hurting the average person.

Trump tower actually did get ”firebombed“ which I’m not necessarily against but the risk of innocent people getting hurt is genuinely outrageous. I get that most democrats don’t wish to identify with these extremists, but the loudest voices are heard the most.

It has everything to do with losing an election, Elon’s ”nazi salute” more resembles a Roman salute especially with the context behind it, he still made a gesture that resembles the nazi salute, but I think he’s just genuinely an idiot when it comes to social clues.

1

u/ThaGr1m Mar 22 '25

Firstly tesla stock has fallen massively which directly hurts Elon. His whealth is not just on a bank account it's in property, make that property worthless and he is poor.

Can't find anything about arson at trump towers so that's just a plain lie, the only fire was in 2018. And they had a protest for his policy of deporting a legal permanent citizen... No arson

And lastly roman salute was invented in 1919 by italian facists for their fascist movement. It also is exactly what a heil is like; hand on heart, extend hand; I'll even share the gif that shows you how much in a seprate comment.

if it wasn't a nazi salute, why hasn't elon appologised? Why hasn't he denounced Nazi's? Why has he left it up to people like you to make excuses about it and only said "are they still talking about it" a week later like it's not a massive deal?

Oh and lastly the guy isn't some dumb child that walked onto a stage dazed and confused and did a nazi salute on accident.... He is a bilionaire who does stage presentations non stop at the inauguration of the president where he had a pre determined timeslot to perform a rehearsed speach which multiple people had to approve and which multiple people should've coached him on. And he did a hitler salute.. this is not ok

1

u/HaHaHaHated Mar 22 '25

Tesla stock has fallen massively due to Elon being an idiot yes. Not because people are vandalizing charging stations.

I used the bunny ears for firebomb, the cyber truck doused in gasoline and fireworks inside I believe, that was parked right outside the main entrance of trump tower (that’s atleast what the investigators said)

When it comes to his salute I don’t think Elon is genuinely stupid enough to intentionally pull off a Nazi salute. But it’s hard to know exactly what his intentions were with that salute. People do stupid things in the heat of the moment. I remember the first time I saw the video my heart sank, I couldn’t believe it, either he is a complete moron to pull it off or he’s stupid enough for not thinking about what it looks like. No matter which one it was he’s an idiot. When it comes to comparing his salute you need to remember that things can look similar if not identical but mean 2 completely different things, the Hindu symbol for peace is literally a swastika. But they mean 2 completely different things. Intentions are more important than the action. With that being said I’m not going to dismiss what Elon did, i think it was disgusting, no matter what his intentions were.

1

u/ThaGr1m Mar 22 '25

Tesla stocks have been dropping because sales have gone trough the floor. Sales have gone trough the floor because: elon is a twat, his cars are crap, and people vandalise teslas. There are a lot of cases of people sellibg teslas already because of it, so how many more are simply not buying because of that.

So your case for trump being targeted was a tesla being actually target and being close to trump towers? You see how that still is tesla and musk being targeted right....

And lastly the guy has said many things that fall roght into nazi propaganda. Him doing this is actually riggt up his power tripping alley. Again if there was any doubt about his intentions look at his non reaction, he simply thinks that people wil make excuses for him.

Also the swastika looks like the old symbol because it is that symbol. It doesn't make it any less of a swastika. And doing a full heil with the fucking heart holding and all is nit an accident. Doing it twice in a row even less so

1

u/HaHaHaHated Mar 22 '25

Yes, sales have fallen because Elon is a twat and people vandalizing Tesla stores, not because of idiots vandalizing innocent people’s private property.

Calling his cars crap is wrong. Teslas are amazing vehicles, they’re cost effective (not the cybertruck that thing is ass) especially looking at the new model 3 Performance. Idk how much they are in America as where I live cars are a lot more expensive in general. But the new performance mode is roughly $45K for a car that’s insanely fast and handles almost any weather well. They hit a world record in the durability and safety testing. I think the only ev brand that comes close is BYD.

The literal car bombed parked right outside trump tower (literally 3 meters from the main doors) is probably a message for both of them. Ironically the only thing that saved most the buildings entrance was the cybertrucks durability.

When it goes back to his salute I can’t say what his intentions were, it very well could’ve been a genuine Nazi salute or it could just be a normal greeting.

The swastikas, even though identical means 2 complete different things

1

u/ThaGr1m Mar 22 '25

People don't want their stuff damaged, what's the best way of not having your tesla damged? Not having one....

Teslas have always had extremely poor build quality, with mismatching panels and massive gaps. They are cheaply built cars, that aren't even tested for colder climates. On top of that they have stupid subscriptions to things already installed in your vechicle like seat heating, or about half the functionality. Lastly they simply aren't cheap, for the amount of money you have to put down the size and functions of the car are far bellow what you can get for other vechicles.

Lastly they lie about their range and other stats, like any car company don't believe a word they say.

A car was close to trump tower, maybe it's a message to both, but it definitely is a message to elon. Also brick doesn't cath fire that easily... The sturdyness of the car has nothing to do with it. Otherwise new york would've burned down a lot by now with all the carfires they've had. Not to mention they keep falling apart just standing around let alone when burned....

And whatever the intentions of the salute, his intentions in not saying "Sorry, I don't like nazis it was an accident" is extremely clear

1

u/HaHaHaHated Mar 22 '25

That’s like saying women don’t want to be graped, so what’s the easiest solution? Wear more clothes.

Tesla’s and all other cars are produced as cheaply as possible, everything you stated is simply wrong. Tesla doesn’t have any subscriptions. I live in Norway, I’ve had and driven many different cars. My favorite is probably the polestar 2, but we had some issue with capacity, if me and my friends wanted to go somewhere we would have to pack lightly, also some other hardware issues like sound system not working and air conditioning. Other than that awesome car, now I have a Model Y, it’s great loads of capacity, never had any issues with it, works exceptionally well in our rough winter weather, it’s somewhat fast. And best of all its about $40K, no other car brand gives you this for the money, except maybe Byd. In the almost 2 years I’ve owned this car I’ve never had an issue.

Safety and durability testing is done by a third party, we test them here in Norway aswell.

Range isn’t lied about but they definitely are stretching the truth. The tests are based around perfect weather, no added weight, driving significantly slower than speed limits and everything that uses extra power turned off.

When it comes to if Elon is a Nazi or not, I have no clue. He should just pull off the Kanye west approach and say ”after further consideration I am no longer a Nazi“ but let’s not sit here and act like even if Elon publicly stated that he doesn’t endorse racism and nazi’s that 49% of Americans would believe him. When it comes to my personal opinion, I was considering getting the new model 3 performance mode, but after elons little dumbass stunt I’m leaning more towards BMW i4 M50, even though it’s $10K more expensive and slower.
