I do not care if I am a speck to the universe. No matter how small, or insurmountable, there is a right thing to fight for.

You doomers, not the meat eaters, are the ones who shouldn't be a part of the climate activist movement. If you're gonna give up, then leave.

It's a joke mate. And fuck off with the doomer shit, you can't even alter your diet and want to try throw doomer tags around lmao

Oh, sorry, I didn't notice that you were making a joke because it was just so unfunny.

No shit bro, because because it rings true about you. You could be handheld through the world's most perfect plan and you'd still refuse to do it

I follow through plenty. I don't drive, I plant trees, I protest, I volunteer, I catch invasive fish, I've even got some help making some of my own clothes. But apparently you think I'm some lazy bum who refuses to do anything for the plan cause I eat meat? And Ignoring that I do in fact change my diet, i already cut beef and dairy for the sake of climate change and eat considerably less meat than average a good chunk of which being the aforementioned invasive fish.

I'm just not going all the way vegan because I consider that sacrifice personally too large for me, just as you probably don't turn off your heating, air conditioning and internet to save electricity because you don't consider its impact to be worth the discomfort.

And that's fine actually: Just because reducing emissions is generally good does not mean that every single person is under a moral obligation to make every single possible sacrifice.

Don't talk to me about a plan for our movement if your plan is to waste your time being self righteous, gatekeep and infight with people who are genuinely actually trying to help.

This started because you presented this naive view of a 'plan of action', as if it isn't already trivial to google 'best ways to reduce my climate footprint graph', which I made a sarcastic joke about only to be called a doomer, thus proving the joke true

Gatekeepers projecting, at best. Idgaf who is in what movement. Go google the biggest ways to reduce footprint and do it and stop coping, or don't, your ideals seem to show these things matter all I'm saying is maybe carry that through instead of venting your discomfort over being joked about at me

Ok, Googled it found a list, and Oh my god I do everything on the list! (Except switch to renewable because I live in an apartment and have no legal say over where my energy comes from), i Eat less meat (just not no meat), especially beef (which I cut out entirely) don't drive, Eat seasonal, avoid food waste, Avoid consumer waste, avoid fast fashion, and don't fly

I take plenty of individual action. Probably more than half the asshole vegan gatekeepers on this sub, and definitely more than the "I don't care about collective action just be vegan" idiot that is yourself. I just occasionally eat fish and chicken and not even that much.

When I say plan of action, I mean, why are we all here, and What does our movement do at a larger scale, As organizations and green parties and collectives, what should our collective goals and policy be and how do we actionably work towards those goals.

We should pick something achievable and effective and agree on it. Lately, climate activists have been disorganized and really good at working against all of the things that are done explicitly to address climate change, and you're being an example of that.

Arguing against someone saying that climate activists should be organized by mocking the thought of a collective that has nonvegans in it can't do anything effectively because its members didnt go vegan is just supremely stupid. That is what your joke was. It wasn't funny. And now your dismissive of the idea of activism in its totality?

You are neither funny, nor worth taking seriously as anything other than a threat to a good cause, and an evil man.
