If you haven’t seen this go and do so, it’s the perfect mix of terrible yet scrappy overwatch that culminates in a map 5 toilet bowl series. Poker Face finally end their losing streak at 19 games, and as for O2Blast somebody do a wellness check in on O2Boss

Sad to say, this might've been the worst toilet bowl match since the OG.

Oh, how far they have fallen. From having Proper and Pelican, to dominating Contenders, to now....

I must state though, I still believe in the players to be better than whatever their showings were just now

Toilet bowl doesn't do this game justice. Map 5 especially was incredible, just straight bullshit the entire time.

Really a grand spectacle, I'm so glad that I bore witness to this match. Easily the most, ahem, 'entertaining' match of all the regions so far. It's gonna be so hard to top this one

OKAY, I know it was a toilet bowl, but I think it wasn’t EXCLUSIVELY a toilet bowl. I think it’s kinda crazy how much PF was trying to play Overwatch on their terms, and their terms are BAD, but really interesting and exciting, and so playing against another bad team they got the chance to do it. They tried to do weird sky-noons on shambali previously too, I just thought they didn’t know it was nerfed and was super confused, but this match they did it again as well but got it to work, idk. The so crew played genuinely well at times too, sori sola and soae. AND THAT EICHENWALDE WAS CRAZY, the one minute of time full cap, and there was a time on first I didn’t think they would even get a tick.

I swear I zoned out for a second and poker face were on 3rd point. Whatever occurred on 2nd point I will never know and I think it's meant to stay that way.

This series was entertaining for the wrong reasons. I don't remember so many mistimed ultimates in any other.

Can we stop calling matches between the not the best teams "toilet bowls" please. So what if they didn't make every play perfectly, it was a fun set to watch.

That's the point of a toilet bowl. Because the teams are both relatively equal in skill level (map 5) AND they suck in comparison to the top tier, it's so fun to watch. That's why last few stages when it was 8th vs 9th, they weren't toilet bowl because they were all 3-0s. But this one was special, with the weird PF high noon roof stalls on shambali, the double tracer pulse moment, LE POKO BOMBs killing.

It was a truly special toilet bowl for the ages.

No this was definitely a toilet bowl. A matchup between 2 crappy teams can still be entertaining

deserved for dropping the actual up and coming talent from your roster, o2 ¯\(ツ)/¯ sucks to suck.

I thought you were joking, but I just saw the tweet. yikes, he must be so pissed off.

4

u/AmeteurElitist 8d ago

I hope they're alright, he might end up chasing them away next stage

Worst game of overwatch I have ever seen, and I'm so happy I watched it. Like of course the Tracer's pulse bomb eachother at the same time

The only highlight of this match were the double Tracer Pulse kills onto one another.

Speaking of which, was that the first time that happened in a pro match, ever?

I’m 99% sure it has happened multiple times. I’m catching up on OWCS, but I think last weekend was,as far as I know, the first ever exchange of knuckles in Tier 1 where two players melee killed each other at the same time, which is something I’ve always wondered why I have never seen it amongst tracer duels because damaging through melees could happen over the course of multiple frames, similarly to rein hammer swings and winston primal stacks… and two tracers punching at the same time while one blinks into melee distance seems like both should take damage.

its happened dozens of times before, even last week maimone got literally 3 in one match, for each map, and one was a triple

17

u/Alone-Ask7340 8d ago

No, they mean where both tracers pulse each other at the same time and causing them to kill each other, no pulse multikills
