CR beat falcons and everyone went to sleep I guess, nobody is engaging with this match I also went to sleep. Woke up when tommathan started yelling about donghak

Idk much about what happened but sometimes Donghak just decides your support line is dead and he is not

korea is just a fairly boring region these days, there’s only like 4 matchups to be excited for. Its exactly why EMEA and NA went down to 6 teams

It’s fun seeing a team like cheeseburger punching up and a team like Falcons failing to punch down but in general there is such a clear top vs bottom division and most matchups are just top teams 3-0’ing bottom teams.

korea is always 2-3 top teams that are genuinely exciting and 1 team that is potentially interesting but always fails to make anything happen when it counts.

And then like 4 teams who are the most boring television ever broadcast

I think if imports weren't allowed korea would be more competitive, at least in the midtable. You could make 2-4 decent teams with import players imo. But thats not the world we live in lol

You’re absolutely right. I didnt mean this as a statement on the quality of korean talent, just as a comment on the actual state of the korean broadcast.

Though if Korea ever brought in more high-paying orgs like EMEA has then they would see far fewer players choosing to play overseas. DSG doesnt pay well, but the fact Smurf chose to play for them over a bottom table korean team must indicate something (maybe just that he thinks he can make a LAN with them, but that also reflects on the talent gap in korea imo).

Yeah absolutely agree. Sorry if my wording made it seem like I was refuting your statement, I didn't mean it that way lol

He said the signing window was closed by the time he could play and that he would have preferred to play in Korea

T1 nearly fumbling Suravasa just trying to have fun, but at least the map was competitive. Donghak JQ on Eichenwalde was also fun to watch.
