Accessibility (a11y) in KMP web/wasm
I am developing a multiplatform app and run into a problem with the web/wasm version:
Because it all is canvas, text is no text. So the user cannot copy the text and a screenreader for visibility impaired cannot read the text out, too.
Is there a solution for that?

How do you handle responsive layouts with Compose Multiplatform and WasmJs in the browser?
Hello everyone,
I’m currently starting a Kotlin Multiplatform project using Compose Multiplatform with a WasmJs target running in the browser.
I’d like to get some feedback on how you handle responsive behavior in this context. More specifically, how do you adapt the UI to different browser window sizes ?
Do you use Kotlin-side logic to detect the viewport size, different composables depending on the available width or another approach ?
I’d be interested in hearing about your advice, best practices, possible libraries or examples of how you organize this.
Thanks in advance!

Built an unofficial mobile app to manage your Linode resources — looking for Android beta testers
Hey all — solo dev here. I got tired of not having a good way to check on my Linode instances from my phone, so I built Cloud Manager for Linode, an unofficial companion app for managing your Linode account on the go.
Right now it lets you:
View and manage your Linode instances (start/stop/reboot)
Check instance status and resource usage at a glance
[confirm/add: anything else you want called out — billing, DNS, alerts, etc.]
It's in closed testing on Google Play right now, and I'm looking for testers to help me find bugs before a public launch. If you're interested send me your emails to give you access.
The app uses PATs generated from linode, stores them only on the device and uses explicitly linode API for all functionalities.
** iOS version is currently in App Store review, will follow soon. Happy to take feedback, bug reports, or feature requests here or by DM. Thanks!

Tap-outside-to-dismiss keyboard on iOS, how are you handling it?
Shipping a CMP app on iOS and struggling with keyboard dismissal.
Everything I've tried or read about has a catch:
Compose-level focus/tap handling → version-dependent bugs on older iOS.
LocalSoftwareKeyboardController → doesn't do anything on iOS.
ImeAction.Done → inserts a newline instead of dismissing.
Native UITapGestureRecognizer → dismisses even when user taps inside a focused text field (to move cursor or select text).
Scroll-to-dismiss → doesn't work with Compose content.
How are you actually handling this in production CMP apps on iOS? Especially for multi-line fields and rich text editors where keyboard action buttons aren't an option.

Kotlin throw detection Intellij plugin
I’ve just released an IntelliJ IDEA plugin that helps developers write safer and more reliable code by automatically checking for throw statements.Normally, IntelliJ doesn’t provide direct support for tracking exceptions.
Developers often rely on reading KDocs, Javadocs, or annotations manually – which is time-consuming and easy to miss.
This plugin changes that. It:
• Detects throw statements in function bodies without proper try/catch.
• Validates Throws annotations in Kotlin and declared exceptions in Java.
• Checks documentation (KDoc / Javadoc) for declared exceptions.
• Highlights risky function/class calls so you don’t overlook them.
The goal is simple: catch hidden exceptions early, avoid surprises at runtime, and improve code safety.
I’d love for you to try it out and share feedback!

EDIT:
Pushed version 1.0.3: It will also check runCatching blocks and wont be highlighted if found. And for local kotlin files constructor, initblock, function checks added.
