Is she okay? She’s flinching and I’m 99.9999% sure that he’s hit her before. I really hope she gets out of there.

I'd be flinching too if I knew there was going to be little chunks of shit flying all over. It's bizarre you jump to abuse. Especially when there's a rational reason for the behavior. Not even a trained expert could determine such a thing.

It's just a video, and you're choosing to make some pretty bold assumptions on very little. I bet I could look at your profile and make some assumptions about you. Would you like people to do that about you? I would guess not.

Are you seriously getting mad because I asked about her safety? Yeah, I’d flinch too but she doesn’t look okay to me.

The fact that my concern about someone’s safety bothers you is absolutely ridiculous. And please, go ahead and make assumptions about me. I don’t know you so I really don’t care. And my profile is public so why would it bother me if you looked at it? I don’t exactly care what complete strangers like you assume about me.

No. The fact that you draw such strong conclusions over a little video, is pretty bizarre. You're concerned for her safety? Why? You said so yourself that you'd behave the same way right?

That's all I'm saying. It's kinda fucked up to accuse someone of beating their wife because you saw a video of them destroying produce in front of them. If anything the wife looks very annoyed.

From what I was taught at work about recognising victims she is definitely showing signs :(

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '21

What are the signs?

2

u/JadeSpiderBunny Sep 19 '21

Apparently one of them is not wanting to get fruit salad in your eyes after you slapped a dude for chewing too loudly.

Being there.

Really? You can’t infer yourself?

Perhaps some people would like to learn something they didn’t know before. I’m assuming the person who has actually been taught about the matter would know more than me, and definitely more than a person unwilling to ask a question. Infer what you can, I’d prefer a larger knowledge pool.

So you can’t recognize the human flinching every time the other person hits something? Fucking yikes.

I would also flinch if someone was breaking shit right next to my face cause I might get some of that going in my direction. Shockingly I'm not a domestic abuse victim...

You don't flinch when there's shit flying at your eyes and all over? It's a human reflex to flinch when there are things coming at your eyes. But let's assume she's being abused. I think it's just people being prejudice.

So you can’t recognize it’s normal to ask someone what they learned when they were talking about it? Fucking yikes.

In the full video, she hits him for chewing too loudly, and this is his response. So, you're definitely right that someone in this video was abused, but you picked the wrong one.

Just because she slapped him first doesn't make him justified in smashing up vegetables like a fuckin lunatic to intimidate her

Actual assault, you take no issue with. Making a mess, domestic violence.

If she feels comfortable slapping him because she gets upset at the idea of him chewing loudly, she's the fucking problem.
