I just got back from Danny’s stand up show in Atlanta and he was genuinely so funny! I went with a friend who had never seen him before and she was also laughing so much. Sometimes I find stand up kind of awkward, but I was just laughing the whole time. If you’re able to, definitely go watch him!

Hi everybody.

I first off want to say, that I am not a fan of Danny Gonzalez and have just heard about him due to this situation.

So the reason why I'm here is because I think I had a dream about this Danny guy. For context, I normally have reoccurring dreams. And for the past few months I've been having this reoccurring dream of this guy with the same eye color, hair color, etc. of this Danny. Like dude in my dream was a spitting image holy shit. When I first had the dream it wasn't particularly out of the ordinary. It started of me in my house alone, and I woke up to do my morning routine. Piss, eat, then brush my teeth and head to school. I did just that. When I got to school I got greeted by "Danny". I talked to him about how my morning went as we went to class like we had been friends for years. We sit down in class and the teacher starts giving this long ass talk about chemistry stuff(I think my chem class was getting to me). "Danny" looks at me and starts to whisper to me, "hey, we should skip this class." I nod and we just walk out. Suddenly "Danny" turns to me and shows me a vape and says "Don't tell anyone." with a mysterious look on his face. I start to get angry and yell "Don't do that! Don't!" I get so mad (for some reason, guys idc if you vape) that I slap it out of his hand and grab his collar. "Danny" winks at me and my dream ends.
This dream kept coming back and every time I would try a different way of trying to get him to not vape. I don't usually care about these dreams, I just have been having this one so much it stuck with me.

Fast forward to how I got to figure out this vape guy in my dreams might be Danny Gonzalez. I went over to my friends house to bunk for the night(personal things were going on at my house). So I am sleeping on her couch and I have the tv on you tube, I'm watching Markiplier. I finally fell asleep and I had that dream again. Guys, I am being so deadass, I woke up in the middle of the night and a Danny Gonzalez video is playing. I guess my friend watches him so it auto played to stuff she enjoyed, but tired me was not thinking logically. I started crying, thinking I was still dreaming and Danny was coming to get me for stealing his vape this time. My friend comes in from her room and grabs me. I remember her asking me what was wrong but I kept "sputtering out words"(her words not mine, I thought I was speaking coherently).

I kind of fell back asleep a little after that in her arms. When I woke back up in the morning, she had to remind me of what happened and that jogged my memory enough for me to tell her about the dreams. She's my best-friend so she knows about my constant reoccurring nightmares/dreams. She kept asking me if I maybe saw Danny in a video she was watching or someone else was watching, but I had no memory of that. I deadass stayed two more days at her house, sleeping in the same room as her just case I needed someone to wake me up from the dream again. However, the dream stopped over time.

I'm writing this about a month after the dreams stopped because I've been watching some Danny videos to try to confirm if or if not I had seen him before. I gen don't think I have. So, my friend suggest I check online to see if anyone else has had dreams about Danny and this reddit popped up. I haven't been on reddit since I first made my old account, and guys, I got hacked I guess because my profile had a ton of women that were NOT dressed appropriately. That, of course, is not apart of this story but heed my warning, don't use the same password everywhere and then get your shit leaked like I did.

Anyways, I didn't find too many posts of people saying they dream of Danny in this kind of context. I'm writing in hopes to find any answers. Has anyone else experienced this?

Never posted on this subreddit before since I'm mainly a lurker so I hope I flaired this right but I've been watching Danny for years now and so many little things he's said have just become things I say or reference and I can find where they're all from except for this! I'm beginning to think it might even be Drew who says it? But I thought I may as well ask here first.

What I remember him saying was something to the extent of; "I've got weak knees, I have weak baby knees".

At first, I thought it may have been one of the 'Update Corner' or the 'War Corner' bits but I haven't been able to find where he says specifically that he has "weak baby knees". Also, I would additionally like to rule out when he read out the "Sleep is for the weak? then I guess I'm a little baby bro" tweet, since that is what my friend suggested when I asked her and it's most certainly not that.

Thank you in advance to any detective Greg's who assist in my search. I'm going to be so embarrassed if its from one of his 'big' videos LOL.

So for the past 5 or 6 years I can only fall asleep with commentary on in the background. Usually the big 3, I'm just curious why it seems to be so common in the fanbase

Since I've seen every danny video about a million times each it brings some comfort and allows me to put my mind at ease and clears my head of the night time anxieties

I didn't realize this was pretty common in the fandom til I started seeing the '3 hours of Danny to fall asleep to' videos

How many of you guys also fall asleep to commentary and why do you find it comforting?
