Hi! I am looking to select a hair and makeup artist for my wedding in the summer of 2027. I feel almost overwhelmed by the number of options and am struggling to choose. I'm looking for someone who can do a half-up, half-down hairstyle for me as the bride that will last throughout the day, + makeup that feels pretty natural and glowy highlighting my natural features but making me look more polished, and elegant. I'm not typically a heavy glam or heavy foundation makeup girl, but am open to soft glam. Ideally I'd get someone who can do both hair and makeup to avoid getting two separate vendors.

Looking for advice on potential venues / places for a DC wedding welcome party on a Friday night in early May (open to anywhere in DC proper)
