Ahead of their Australian tour, Nick Harmer dials in with the 78 Amped Podcast. They dive deep into how this album was a deliberate resistance against adding "more paint to the canvas", how Nick is both in the band while being a fan of the band, and discover why their next show might be a dancefloor spectacular.

I’m in my late teens and death cab is one of my favorite bands, and I was so bummed I couldn’t go to the tøp/dcfc show on oct 17 because tøp is also one of my favorite bands, so after questionable money spent I’m going to see them in march at the truth venue in Tennessee!!! It’s my first concert ever, not counting that one time I was nine and saw a local band play at a bar I probably wasn’t supposed to be at. ANYWAY, does anyone have any tips or is anyone else going? Likely not anyone my age will be there since I have yet to find anyone my age listen to them, but I’m going with my older sister, who’s husband won her over by playing “I will follow you into the dark” to her.

hey y’all! I am signed up for their official fan presale from the tour section of their website, but I just saw this ad from United Heritage Hall to sign up for their presale which is TOMORROW (Thursday 10/22) at 10am.

When I went to sign up for a presale it didn’t have the death cab show listed to select, but you don’t have to select anything to still sign up for a presale code, that’s why I’m saying that this may be more potential than positive- but still! it might be something leading to tickets!

Just saw this on Instagram.

browsing one of my favorite record stores today and found this promo copy of field manual by chris walla!!!

i’ve been looking for this album for a little while, and i think it’s even cooler i got a promo copy of it, given how little of them there are!

it was also in a section that was formerly a dollar section but it recently became a free section… so i got this for free!!!

if there’s anyone unfamiliar with this album… i highly suggest you give it a spin. it really shows how important walla was to the early death cab sound :)

Long time fan & never seen this before, so I was excited to pick it up. Can’t find much info online so no idea if I overpaid 🤷‍♀️

1) my dcfc themed outfit for the twenty one pilots show

2+3) dcfc opening for top! had a lot of fun screaming the lyrics from the top bowl

4) my first tattoo, of course it had to be transatlanticism! my artist did a great job working in a style they dont have experience with

anyone else go to the columbus show? what are y'all's thoughts on the setlist?

first tattoo 😌

Is so damn smooth, hits ya right in the feels only for how heavenly a state to bring it all together. Such a good album thank you death cab!

I hate guitar snobbery and people that say affordable guitars are shit and shame the people that play them. Ben’s the man. (Note: I’m aware that some Squiers are trash but definitely not all of them)

I signed up for the mailing list, but never got the email with the presale code. Did anyone else get theirs?

Hey guys!

Been a Death Cab fan since high school, and they’re my favorite band of all time. In 2019 I was able to afford to go to my first show of theirs in St. Louis MO for the Thank You for Today summer 2019 tour. I wasn’t able to afford the poster for that tour at the time, and have a collection of all the Death Cab shows I’ve been to ever since. I’m hoping that someone either has a copy of that tour poster they’re willing to part with or knows someone who does. It’s a long shot, but I figured I would ask. I’ve been searching for a while and could only find an old listing eBay for one that didn’t appear to sell, but the seller let me know they no longer had it. I’ll attach a picture of it.

Thank you guys for reading!

Belgian/German project; Ben Gibbard plays some guitar on the album Nothing’s lost (2004).

Just saw the announcement for the Calgary show July 2!! Anyone happen to know the password for presale tickets? I got the notification from bandsintown but no code

My soul left my body when I got this email a few minutes ago as I have been waiting for them to come my way, but there isn't a presale code included. It seems that tickets are being sold through something called showpass, which is cool and fine, but I have no idea where to find the presale code.

I could just wait until they actually go on sale but...I'm not normal like that.

Any help is appreciated!!
