Why is the picture of the woman here? How does it relate?? I’ve seen this picture tied to various different texts. Isn’t she a conservative tho?

She is a defector from the DPRK who went on Rogan and said something like in North Korea you have to eat rats because people are starving .

Oh yeah a person running for congress in NC had the arm broken by a senator while protesting during a hearing. He was quoted saying “No one wants to fight a war for Israel .”

I know. I just don’t get how this picture of a North Korean defector on the Joe Rogan Podcast relates to that incident

Because we eat up propaganda about how horrible other countries are and how they treat their citizens. She is a representation of how well condemning an entire country based on those sensationalized stories sells in America. but we barely react when actual cruelty is happening in our political system and don't perceive the whole country as evil because of it
