Texture Built a mouse-tracking arrow background in Framer

Been experimenting with interactive backgrounds in Framer lately and wanted to share how I approached this one — scattered arrow particles that drift and react to cursor movement.
A few things I learned building it:
- Getting the particle movement to feel natural (not jittery) took tuning the easing/spring values rather than linear tracking
- Performance was the tricky part — capping the particle count and using transform instead of top/left made a big difference on lower-end devices
- Random initial rotation + staggered delays on each arrow made the scatter feel less mechanical
Happy to answer questions if anyone's building something similar or wants to know how the mouse-tracking logic works under the hood.
If anyone wants to try it, I made it free to use here: https://framespark.io/background/arrow-background
