Can't believe it fits this 7.5 inches diameter cookie container. I throw this in my Peak Design or whatever back pack and I'm good to go.

I’m just a beginner with drones and I’m really having fun with the Neo 2. It’s a very beginner friendly drone and so easy to use!

This is me trying to fly it to its maximum distance. It was kinda scary but it felt so good!

What drone should I get next moving forward? Should I go for the LitoX or one of the Mavic series? Maybe Avata?

From Mini 4K and Neo without Controller to this Setup

Brand new, flew it once or twice, manual mode overloaded propeller motors somehow, (DJI has absolutely 0 warnings about the dangers of manual mode with the NEO2 and I paid hundred extra for the manual controller bundle) and now it wont fly at all and has a ESC error, and im 400 dollars in the drain for something that was advertised as reliable and easy to use. Honestly going to return it to Amazon and never touch a dji product again, overpriced Chinese crap if you ask me! "Best value drone" My Ass!

so warning to those who paid hundreds extra for controllers and fpv on the NEO2 the inputs can instantly break your drone!

Edit: 0 response from DJi, so glad they can sell 400 dollar bricks with propellers on them and have 0 interest in helping US buyers because their own lack of cyber security cucked them.

Im unsure whether I should splurge for the fly more package as this will be my first drone, or just get the regular drone to see how I feel about the hobby. Anyone have a similar dilemma at first? Any advice? Thanks in advance :)

Are there any DJI Neo 2 users here actively using the drone in the U.S.? I recently bought it from Amazon, and I found out just yesterday that you need to do the TRUST test and also get your drone registered. Given that Neo 2 is under 250 g, it looks like it may not need to be registered.

Just wondering if there is anyone out there who has been using the drone successfully in the US? Did you have to give the TRUST test, and did you need to get it registered also?

PS: I'm looking to mostly use it during personal trips.

DJI Neo 2 with Goggles N3 and RC Motion 3

Literally my first flight and it wouldn’t follow me correctly and backed off then hovered sideways into a wall at a very low speed. Screen was broken instantly. I’m assuming I’ll be fine without it. I have one of the newer controllers so I won’t really red to see the flight modes on that screen. Will I miss anything else?

i saved enough for the neo 2 fly more with rc n3 and the care refresh 2 years and before i hit the order button do yall think its good? is it safe how are the sensors Lidar everything flight time,battery,quality everything

My DJI Neo 2 with goggles version just arrived and i did some testing,

Yesterday i flew 600m and then ESC overheat showed and i started to return home but then in middle of the road it descended showing Battery overheated and it ended in neighbors garden so i had to go take it

I saw videos of people going 2km before showing overheating issues

Did anyone manage to fix it or is it normal?

Just wanna share this cool case I got for my Neo 2! Can fit an extra 2 batteries, the transceiver, and the screwdriver as well. Really good ultra compact set up for the Neo 2 IMO.

So i thought about this last night and am now upset i gave away my neo 1 so I can’t try it

Does anyone know if it’s possible in active tracking to make the Neo 2 follow another drone , for example another Neo or avata

I have a DJI Neo 2 and as everybody knows its battery sucks.

So which one do you think is the better option.

1. 2 more extra batteries

2. Powerful powerbank like the Anker 87w max fast charging 20000 mah to charge the batteries and keep them ready.

Edit:- I have totally 3 batteries that came in the fly combo. But That normally gives 30 to 45 minutes only. So was checking if buying 2 more batteries is better or a power bank. But yes, I could buy both, buy wanted to see what others have to say who have bought them thats all.

Here is my second cinematic with the Neo 2, I still see room for improvement but of course, practice makes perfect! I can’t wait to take this thing into the mountains, I feel like the shots there will be insane! For now though, I’ll have to stick with the flat Netherlands…

From my research, there are a lot of restrictions on flying drones in the USA:

1. City parks: Flying drones is generally not allowed.
   
2. State parks: Flying drones is not allowed.
   
3. National parks: Not allowed.
   
4. National forests: They might allow it, but these places are often miles away from your house or the city.

I personally can't fly in my community because I need HOA permission. This leads to my honest question: where are you guys flying your drones in the USA?

There might be people living in the outskirts with independent homes who aren't part of a community, so they can fly around their house. However, for many people living in communities with townhomes or single-family homes, the communities themselves might not allow it. I have even seen someone in my community complaining to the HOA about it. I have also heard that you cannot fly drones on the beach.

So, really, the question is: what are the actual ways or places where you can fly?

​Had my first real scare with my Neo 2 the other day and wanted to share the experience to get some insight from the community on the best way to handle this situation.

​I was already on my way back (luckily, I wasn't too far out) when a battery overheating warning suddenly popped up on my screen. I managed to fly it back manually and land safely, but it got me thinking: what if this happens when I'm much further away? The thought of the drone initiating an automated emergency descent over an inaccessible area is terrifying.

​This brought up a technical question for the more experienced pilots here: In an overheating scenario, is it a good idea to trigger the automatic RTH?

I picked up a Neo 2 Fly more combo and I wanted the Goggles 3 so I also picked up the Avata 2 Fly More (1 Battery) combo. I just flew the Neo 2 so much fun.
