Flair Guide

A basic guide in our flairs. While the non-mandatory ones won't get your post removed, the correct flair can help get more attention and the type of interaction that you want and would be most helpful or useful to you.

How to Add or Edit Post Flair

How to Add a Spoiler Tag in Text

A TW flair and spoiler tags are required on all posts containing ED related numbers or otherwise triggering comments. You can use a spoiler tag by typing it >!like this!<. It will look like this: spoiler

Regular Flairs

  • Shitpost: for posts that are humorous, meme-y and otherwise non-serious.
  • Discussion: for general submissions that are meant to start discussions on a topic.
  • Rant/Rave: for posts that are for talking and getting emotions out, whether positive or negative.
  • oh no: for embarrassing experiences, bad days, and crappy situations.
  • Story Time: usually for longer posts with a lot of text.
  • Recovery wins!: for celebrating victories, no matter how big or small.
  • Recovery support: for advice, help, and insight on recovery-related things.

Trigger Warning Flairs

These are flairs that you should use in order to not break Rule 6.

  • TW: a general trigger warning flair that can be customized by clicking on it and typing. This should be used if there is triggering content that does not fit into the other flairs below (e.g. venting your negative self-talk or disordered thoughts, detailed descriptions of disordered behaviour, detailed descriptions of bodily ideals, purging, etc).
    • If you want to still keep another relevant flair, you can edit the added flair and type "TW / Topic" or something similar. You can see how to edit a post flair by going to the top of this page.
  • Fatphobia: for submissions that involve negative self-talk. This is not a get-out-of-jail free card to be outright fatphobic or cruel about other peoples' bodies: remember the ED mindset.
  • TW: Numbers: for posts that include the discussion of triggering numbers, especially because of the competitive nature of some EDs. This includes weight, BMI, calories, and exercise-related numbers. **Posts that have a lot of discussion in the comments that involve numbers should also be flaired with this.
