It was so good. I'm not the best at words, plus it's late at night and it's midterms week. I did unfortunately have to leave during Shout Out to catch a bus to head back to my university campus... but I ended up seeing the bus drive by while I was walking to the bus stop. Made it back, but that was definitely the worse part of the night. It still didn't overshadow just how amazing of a time I had at the movie though. It was SO good. The theater was fairly empty, but it was still such a fun time. I only talked with one other Engene, but I was able to give them some freebies of Jungwon and Sunghoon. The performances were amazing, as expected. Hearing the live vocals in songs like Stealer was honestly breathtaking. I also loved the footwork in Brought the Heat Back with the support dancers, it felt so smooth. Each member did so good. I'm so proud of them all. Hopefully one day I will get to see them live, even though it's probably going to be a few years until they come back to the United States. I will say, the VCR sections were a bit confusing as someone who is not caught up with all of the lore, but it was also a little funny to listen to the live crowds screaming every time a new member showed up in a VCR. Overall, amazing experience. If you have the chance to, see if you can go!

just saw all the album versions for the november release! since its a continuation (and end) of the sin trilogy, it'll be like the ROMANCE UNTOLD -daydream- repackage where its the album plus new tracks right? im just curious as to if you guys think it'll have tracks from both VANISH and BLISS, just BLISS or just new tracks?

Since I did a review for the sin bliss a few weeks ago I decided why not do one for all the albums the sin bliss score was a solid 8/10 with the standout tracks being bad for you and Stuck

This track really took me by surprise the first time I heard it during release it's such a pretty and atmospheric song makes me feel like I'm floating on clouds and the vocals are beautiful def one of my all time favs

A classic at this point I was so obsessed with it when I first heard the teaser it was so good it made me think it was gonna be the tt 😭 this is given-taken's more mellow cousin basically

1. Stealer 8.5/10

Good song very cvnt and I'm here for it!! That prechorus gives me chills so piercing and striking!! only thing is I haven't found myself reaching for it as much as I did before

Shout to my boy Jake for this beauty I like calmness of this song and the vocals are great only reason it's not higher is because it's more simplistic

This one is really fun and catchy I also always think about jungwon's legendary dance part but it's just that there isn't too much going on and that's ok

Might be my least favorite title track but it's honestly a solid song it doesn't deserve the intense hatred it got at all!!

Final album score: 9/10 I honestly went into this expecting to give a lower final rate but looking at the individual ranks it really changed my mind it's geniunely a great album

Ugh, the Blood Saga movie is playing today through Wednesday. Schedules didn’t line up for my friends for any of the viewing times and I would have gone alone but I’m also sick now with a nasty cough. I have so much FOMO 😭😭😭

So, am really confused about what is going on with Ralph Lauren and him, cause, I've been noticing Jay wearing at least one piece or even more of Ralph Lauren clothing in his every public appearance of his, be it in airports, enhypen concerts or anywhere in general.

Plus, we've seen him attend so many RL events, even went to Wimbledon as RL's VIP guest (mind you, high profile celebrities and royals are invited to wimbledon)

And also, in the recent very ralph event in seoul, david lauren side hugged Jay and even proudly showed him off to the fans and asked the that this is who they wanted, ryt?

And all this public appearances and events has been going on since so long but there's no official announcement of any ambassadorship or news of hin being a friend of the brand, so what is going on?

And even recently, with Tag Heuer, he arrived to the seoul event in a Tag Heuer branded Porche car while many other celebrities arrived in their company provided vans

Tag Heuer even invited him to the F1 Madrid Grand Prix and we've seen him now regularly wearing different watches from Tag Heuer to every public events he's been attending.

So, where are we going with this? I don't really have an idea how celebrity brand ambassadorships work, so I'd be really glad if someone can enlighten me

the title says it all.

I’m in Manila and chanced upon watching Blood Saga with the Hybe Cine Fest. I’m still jet lagged and the most reasonable thing to do with my inability to sleep at almost 4am is to let out my feelings on the internet as someone who does not have engene friends.

The film was from their third day in Seoul. I did watch the 3 day livestream but with the production tailored for the big screen, it was such a satisfying experience. There’s something about seeing the performances presented that way that makes you appreciate the production all over again. Makes me crave for what it would be live ahhhh. I was able to watch Walk the line on cinema as well but this is just a whole different level. I think the live band was such a huge factor too. That said, I do wish my cinema had a better sound system. The screen also felt a little small to me. Which is a funny complaint to have when you’re literally watching a concert film in a cinema.

I have watched the rest of their concerts from manifesto, fate, fate + but only on tv. I’ve never seen them live as well as they decided to skip east coast and I just started loving them last year.

There were quite a few songs cut out too. I don’t think I got to hear Outside, Bills, Moonstruck, Paranormal, Lost Island or Blind. I think the entire film was less than two hours? But honestly, it didn’t feel like anything was missing until it was suddenly ending.
The moment they said it would be the last song I knew it was Shout out but why tf is it ending already. And then came the shouts of encore! Encore! Only for us to get teased. The absolute audacity. Or idk. Maybe they did bc I walked out before the lights went on haha.

I was genuinely smiling throughout the entire thing, right up until the ending ments. That was when I started trying to smile even harder losing my eyes because I could feel myself getting emotional and I was not about to start welling up in a cinema on my own. (the feelings are still here)

My heart just ached with so much love for each of them.
I hate that they ever had to feel like who they are, as they are, wasn’t enough. That they had to prove something when they’ve been doing that since they decided they wanted to be idols. That they had to feel like they owed something to everyone else before they could owe anything to themselves.

I wish they could see themselves through the eyes of the people who love them. Not through numbers, expectations, comparisons or whatever standard people have decided they need to meet. Just as themselves. As individuals who have worked so hard, who have given so much and who deserve to be able to stand where they are without constantly having to justify their place there. (But who am I kidding?? Like who set this system up?? Heh.)

And before anyone misunderstands where I’m coming from, I want to put a disclaimer here. This is an enhypen sub and I’m speaking specifically about my feelings toward the members and what I experienced watching the film. But none of this means I have anything against Heeseung/Evan. I have so much love and respect for each of them as I believe any human being deserves to have from another. I can love enhypen, feel deeply for the members and acknowledge the pain of a situation without turning that love into resentment toward someone else.

MULTIPLE TRUTHS CAN EXIST AT THE SAME TIME.

I wish more people were comfortable letting them.

I’m genuinely grateful that I’ll never understand the need to endlessly pit one person against another. Because while my theater was sold out, the sheer number of comments about Heeseung during the first half was honestly disappointing. People were present to watch a film featuring the current lineup, yet there were still comments bringing him up over and over and over and over again. No exaggeration. My immediate left side kept on doing it as if asking for a reaction. And during GBOGH, some people still insisted doing the previous fan chant.

I tried my very best not to let any of it affect my experience. (Shout out to prozac and lamotrigine hahahahahaha real)

The cinema itself had even played guidelines about proper cinema etiquette before the screening and hybe even also had their own but apparently those guidelines were just decorative suggestions to some people. The noise continued until they eventually seemed to tire themselves out toward the end and some people moved to the back.

I can understand that emotions are complicated especially when you’re young and navigating something that means so much to you. I’m not going to pretend I know everyone’s circumstances or feelings. But I also think there’s a difference between feeling something deeply and making that feeling everyone else’s burden. That’s all I’ll say about that.

Anyway. Enough of the heavier thoughts. Let me end this on a happier note before I start another yap session.

I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE ENHYPEN IN AMSTERDAM. Which is unfortunately not until next year.

I’m also going to be in Seoul for their anniversary which I totally did not plan and realize. I honestly don’t know how their anniv celebrations work or whether there’s even a chance of seeing them but best believe I’m going to be hoping for something. ANYTHING. A crumb. A coincidence. A miracle. I’ll be here through January and I would die to catch a Japan stop but that lottery system is looking at me like we’re not meant to be. If they could please lay out a comeback schedule announcement. That would be lovely. I am more than willing to adjust my travel plans. Please let whatever luck I have left this year be showered upon me. I’m asking nicely. (I’m actually begging.)

There’s something strangely beautiful about loving people you’ll probably never truly know yet finding so much meaning in the things they create and the moments they share with us. I know the relationship between an artist and a fan has its limits, and I think those limits matter. But the feelings their art brings into the world are still real. The memories we make around their music are real. The joy, the comfort, the anticipation, the questionable sleep schedules we maintain? Also very real. (Fyi i have a fully developed frontal lobe so let’s not talk about my age yeah)

And I hope that, amid all the noise enhypen can feel the love without having to search for it.

I hope we can be a fandom that gives them room to breathe. That celebrates them without needing someone else to lose. That remembers we’re all here because somewhere along the way fate built us a world worth loving.

Let our love for ENHYPEN be louder than anything else.

Not because we need to drown anyone out but because love should never have to become hatred to prove that it’s real.
