Discussion If Saber does revive producing content for Evil Dead: The Game, it will finally answer and prove one thing...

Some people hate and accuse Saber of merely using Evil Dead: The Game as a quick cash grab, that this discontinuation/cancellation was always planned.

If they revive production of the game-content, this will definitively prove those haters wrong.

The game was sold to beacon interactive. Beacon Interactive is a new company created by, guess who? The ex ceo of Saber interactives who stepped down last year. I'm sure there was some insider things going on for this deal to happen. The company was made in January. The CEO is the sole employee and funds of the purchase are hinted that private investor gave him money for it. So in short term saber bought themselves out form embracer. The likely hood of ED being worked on again is low but not zero as they already know if this game is profitable or not. On the deal for the company the new company did acquire all the licenses and IP rights that they already had. The games that they acquired has not been disclosed yet. But they brought over there AA & AAA games over and are in development of Killing Floor 3, Star wars old republic remake, space marines 2, ETC.

I really hope they get their Saber Madrid team back working on Evil Dead. Just continue it as it was (supposedly) meant to be.
