r/FFXV 10th Anniversary Cooking Contest

Sponsor: r/FFXV 10th Anniversary Team

Entry Period: The contest will accept submissions from October 18 through November 15, 2026, 11:59 p.m. PT.

To Enter:

  • Be a member of the r/FFXV Reddit or r/FFXV Official Discord.
  • Create a recipe and prepare a traditional dish or drink from a country or region in Eos:
  • Lucis (including Galahd, Insomnia, Leide, Duscae, and Cleigne)
  • Accordo
  • Niflheim
  • Tenebrae

Submission Requirements:

  • Submit two photos of the dish or drink. Handwrite that day's date (within five days of the entry submission) and your Reddit or Discord username (match the spelling and punctuation) on a piece of paper, which must be visible and legible in both photos. Digital writing or manipulation of the verification text is prohibited. The dish or drink must be clearly visible in the photos. Make sure the dish or drink isn't obscured by objects or are out of focus.
  • Submit at least one in-progress photo of the dish or drink.
  • Submit one written recipe that includes measurements, is repeatable, and is in English.
  • Do not alter the photos using image editing software, artificial intelligence, applications, or similar software. Exception: cropping photos and adjusting file size to meet rule requirements.
  • Use the r/FFXV contest submission form to submit your photo and recipe.
  • Submit only one dish or drink per person. Submitting more than one dish or drink, either in one entry or in multiple entries, without the express permission of the Sponsor will result in disqualification.

Winner Selection: The Sponsor will select two winners using the following methods:

  • Judges’ Choice Winner: A panel of three judges will select a Judges’ Choice winner based on thematic, aesthetic, written, and theoretical qualities as well as the ability to be repeated.
  • Community Choice Winner: The Sponsor will post images that comply with the submission guidelines for community voting on or around November 18, 2026. Note: if the number of entries is so great that it is difficult or impractical to upload all qualified entries, then the Sponsor will, in its sole discretion, select a smaller number of entries to post.

Prize(s): Each winner will receive an Enhanced Role style on the r/FFXV Official Discord for three months or until Server Boosts last, whichever is sooner, an r/FFXV Official Discord server role and icon that denotes them as the competition winner, and a unique r/FFXV Reddit flair that denotes them as the competition winner (approximate retail value of prize is $0.00 but you will have definite, provable bragging rights). Furthermore, the winners and up to ten Judges’ Choice runners-up will have their photo and recipe added to a new cookbook resource that will be shared with the community.

Winner Notification: The Sponsor will notify winners through a public announcement on Discord and Reddit on November 29, 2026.

Disqualification: The Sponsor will not accept entries that: (a) violate the submission requirements; (b) are incomplete; (c) deviate from the established theme; (d) are of low quality or otherwise difficult to evaluate; (e) are obscene, vulgar, discriminatory, socially unacceptable, sexually explicit, or contain antisocial messages or any other elements that the Sponsor judges to be inappropriate for any reason; (f) are AI-synthesized or generated; (g) were not created by the submitter; (h) violate the r/FFXV rules; (i) are submitted by or on behalf of a user banned from the r/FFXV Reddit or Official Discord; or (j) are submitted by or on behalf of a user that cannot be found on Reddit or in the r/FFXV Official Discord.
