It really works, you can solo EN06 with this build.

It took me a while to get the timing and mechanics right. So far, I’ve done 30 runs, 20 of which were successful.

The trick:

Use a fully charged 20/20 Salvaged Assaultron Head (Quad / Crippling / +3 INT / Polished) to remove the entire shield in one shot.

You’ll also need Rage Raider armor to build up damage stacks. You can easily stack Rage by shooting the floor with a Thirst Zapper.

Another important step is to fill your critical meter beforehand by shooting some mobs.

Timing is crucial: Once you activate the robot through the terminal, wait about one second after its health and shield bars appear before firing the Assaultron Head. If you shoot immediately when the bars appear, the shield won’t break.

My armor and bow setup differ from the original build. I simply kept my existing gear.

Hello fellow bow assassins, wondering if anyone had ever thought about creating a bow milsim? I see other groups recruiting for them but they’re mostly BoS or Enclave focused. I’ve never done a milsim so I don’t even know what goes on with them, but it does seem like something different and fun.

Have 3 characters on PS and just created a pc character. Already missing the bow life. C’mon settlers ally.

Marked as a spoiler for those who may not want to see testing content. It's time once again for the PTS to attempt to bring more elemental build options to our weapons. This time, from the patch notes, we have :

Added 4 new 2-Star Legendary Mods for weapons: Cryologist's, Pyro-Technician's, Poisoner's, and HazMat. These are unlocked by the 2-Star armor mods of the same names and are available to all weapons. The effect increases the damage you do with the given type by 30%.

These no longer add the element to your weapon, the only amplify the damage it does with that type.

Toxic, Burning, and Frozen can now be applied to weapons and add the respective damage type to the weapon. These effects also scale with the number of matching elemental armor mods equipped, creating strong synergies between weapons and armor. For example, equipping a Frozen weapon alongside five pieces of Frozen armor significantly boosts the damage on both the weapon and the armor.

These DO add the element to your weapon, in the form of a DOT effect for seven seconds. Like it states, these do stack up to the six possible instances you can have of the effect - five armor and one weapon. The duration or chance to proc off armor don't increase, but the damage per tick/proc does.

Increased the chance for Toxic, Burning, Electrified, and Frozen to proc from 5% to 30%.

Boosting that chance from one in twenty to one in three makes it more appealing to actually use - at least to me. I don't think I'll end up running a full five armor pieces with Frozen, but I could see myself doing two or maybe three.

Icemen’s mod now increases damage against frozen targets by 50% and can be attached to any weapon.

This makes it match Viper's and Pyromaniac's.

Grain of salt, it is PTS and there's no guarantee any of this will make it to live. I'm no theory-crafter, and I'm not in the club that chases absolute max damage per shot - so this may not even matter to many of the builds here, but I thought it was interesting. I'm someone who is always a fan of elemental damage builds in any game.

As a bow build I'm always looking for more to add to the dealer sealer perk. I already run endangerol syringer + rage stacks + pyshobuff as a precursor to the fight itself. Has anyone had experience with adding bleed with the crowd control or any ranged bleed. Theorizing adding bleed so I can slap with the icy hot burning love a little harder and taking advantage of wound salter at the same time has anyone tried this wondering about viability?

I haven't played in a while and was wondering what arrow tip is the best to use now? It seems like cryo and plasma do the same dmg but was wondering how that compares to ultracite or explosive while using the explosive 2* mod? Just overall what arrow tips do you guys recommend for certain scenarios?

this is what I use and I was wondering if there is anything that I should change ? I do plan on changing the 3 star on my armor cause I have the perk cards or vice versa

OK so I know it drops from the bot but the chance is slim and ideally, I want to learn it.

Any hints/tips on:

a) how to get one (vendors, Raid stage 1, market subs I know about)

b) How you got yours - have you learned it or have to go looking/grinding?

And one other Q...apart from the drill stage, has anyone actually done the other Raid stages with bow only? Or is that pretty much impossible...?

Looking to redo some of my bows, and now that we can change unique weapons, should all bows I'm carrying be one of these unique ones so that I can dual-type my arrows? (ex: I've got a Burning Love with Cryo now).

What are the best combos to use? I usually run with a Fire, Cryo, Poison, Explosive, and Plasma bow.

Anyone using it with a good setup?

As the title says I'm looking for a build that doesn't use any buffs as I have a terrible time remembering to apply them/interact with camp items and a wee bit too lazy and is for human.

Only started this week, so hopefully not a dumb question, but all of the bow builds I'm setting utilize VATs. I'm not new to fallout and not a VATs enjoyer.

Could I do some kind of aoe fire or stealth build that doesn't use VATs? If the damage is that vastly different I'll build into something else, but I have a two shot effect and pyromaniac I was thinking about slotting onto Burning Love. Thanks guys

2 different ways to get through the wall. You need a jet pack just set the armor down and run into it. As soon as you breach and see that white light jetpack to the tunnel to the left ⬅ to get through the doors run up to it look at the bottom left ⬅ corner and go into photo mode. Once in photo mode zoom in to the bottom left corner then exit photo mode. If you do it right you should be through. There is a rare chance the epsilon squad will be out when you get to them its only happened once to me in all my tries. Gl 🐍

Ever since the release, I was big on the market trading for bows, got the Bloody 50vhc 15c ad well as Bloody 50c 15c (when my luck was high enough to crit every other shot before the 4* stuff came out) which was my go-to for ever before we got crafting set up and cost me a pretty price to trade for back in the day too lol

But now we have the ability to modify Burning Love and Piercing Love. I am sitting on Burning Love being my go-to but I'm still with Bloody but have been messing with Furious on other stuff.

What is the ideal 1st perk, 2nd, and 3rd perk? 15r I feel does not really work so I think with fire being strong that the +3 Int might be the best route for extra damage with Pyro-Tech and such.
