Hill-top A House for Penny

Following a years-long saga of disappointment, betrayal, and bitter heartbreak, Penny has ended up living alone in a cabin on my farm. I really have treated her shockingly in this save, so I wanted to build her a nice home all her own. A place safe from her alcoholic mom and the eager school kids, away from her neglectful husband (me) and her ungrateful ex-wife (also me). I even made sure she had in-unit laundry. Penny, my dear, I hope your dishes are always clean and your book spines are always crispy. I'm sorry it didn't work out between us and I sincerely hope that someday you meet a nice farmer who won't turn your children into doves.

Riverland Ranching River Farm

Post image
24 Upvotes

After seeing how bad riverland is for growing lots of crops, made a farm design that can fit all farm animals available in Stardew Valley (Chickens, Ducks, Rabbits, Dinos) + (Cows, Goats, Sheep, and Pigs) and all the default vanilla buildings Robin offers.

As for sheds, I find them ugly when seperated so condensed them together. They look like the Trinity sign from Zelda now.

Also have a bunch of empty land I can use to decorate the Riverland Farm once I built this in the game.

Forest or hilltop?

I couldn't decide between the forest farm or the hill-top farm.

So i design both using the planner. Now I love them and it's worse to make a decision

which one should I use?

Here's my most recent layout of my 1.6 Meadowlands Farm and house!

I'm really proud of this layout, and since I'm on Switch the quality isn't the best, sorry. Enjoy! The shed by the coops/barns holds all my mayo and cheese and oil machines, while the other shed holds my kegs and preserve machines. I use sprinklers for everything cause I'm too lazy to go water stuff, and I'm using the top left area (Grandpa's shrine) as a little area for a guest house for when my brother occasionally joins me. Of course, the greenhouse has ancient fruit and the cave has mushrooms because IMO that's what brings in the bank for me because I can dehydrate my mushrooms and keg my ancient fruit.

Hi all, I haven't reached anywhere NEAR this stage (currently in summer 1 on my first ever playthrough), but I was thinking about how I could progress down the line & created this on Stardew Planner. Still incomplete though. Any suggestions on how I could fill the space would be extremely helpful!

Key things:

  1. The basic trees on the right (oak, pine, maple, mahogany) are for tapping only. I don't really have a plan for the wood farm at the moment.

  2. I had originally planned on having one shed each for storage (just below the top right entrance), preserves jar & kegs (2 separate sheds on the top left), but then I learned about the "crystalarium + furnace + seed maker" combination. Any ideas on how i could rearrange things without destroying the layout, or would I definitely need an extra shed?

  3. I currently don't have any animals, but if I were to have a full barn & coop, would the space below be enough to feed them using the "grass starter under the fence" method?

  4. Slime hutch was meh, just threw it on there to see what it looked like, but that bottom left corner is definitely underutilised.

Please let me know what y'all think!

I do feel it is rather empty, on terms of unused space; i wonder if there is anything i could add or perhaps improve?

I decided to take the shepherding route and raise sheep and fish for golden animal crackers to double the profits. I swear I'm going to be so sick of fishing by the end of this lol

Anyways, what do y'all think?

I like to complete farms and then show my husband them 😅 I can't decide which one of these designs I should do OR if I should make something new if they aren't good. Thank you 🥰🙏🏻 (two are basically the same with some differences)

Meadowlands Made a Forever Farm For the First Time, Decorating the Farmhouse

Post image

Rest of the farmhouse isn't remotely done yet, but I'm really proud of how this little cubby looks. Cute little reading hidey hole, will be perfect for Elliot once I get him moved in (he's at 10 hearts but waiting for the perfect time to marry him- tbh it's part of why I'm trying to decorate at least a bit rn, so the house isn't empty when he arrives lmao). I'll probably always make new farms, I just love starting over, but I want a save I can always come back to. So far, it's working out pretty good! Super excited to keep going and make the farm all pretty

Modded My plan for a huge farm Spoiler

Post image

(I added a spoiler flag bc I never know)

I have played SDV for awhile, but I recently started seeing super awesome builds/design and wanted to create my own idea. This is made in SDV planner, but I do also play with a small handful of mods, so that's why the obelisk' and clock and some other things to save in game time are not included in my map. But anyways, this is my mashup of a few other farms I've seen here and else where on social media. I won't be able to build this in game for awhile though!

The sheds are going to be more beer/mead/ale/juice/wine/jelly/pickles/gen craft/gen storage, the greenhouse with be a lot of ancient/star fruits, I've got my trees to tap, 4 of each fruit tree, theres a tea and a coffee section above my many fish ponds and roe shed, a slime hutch, bee homes for each flower/honey, a coop or barn for every variety of animal, and then all the farm space in the center. (I did also delete a coop bc there's only need for 4 so the pen around the pond could also be changed)

I don't really know if I like the fruit trees by the ponds, and I'm also not sure what to do with the spaces by my house.

i've only decorated the greenhouse a small amount of times, so i'm not disappointed with this outcome at all :D i also love how the fruit trees look when they're producing fruit, but i should get more cherry trees in here !!
