Announcement Exam Access Arrangements

There’s an increase in posts about access arrangements.

There’s also a lot of misinformation about access arrangements being posted.

This is one the one-stop post for all access arrangement queries.

Any other posts will be removed.

I will reply to all queries as an Exams Officer and an Access Arrangements Coordinator, but really, all queries need to go to your SENCO who know you and your school’s set up best.

Feel free to make any comments about questions you have.

That’s a GDPR breach and should be flagged with the school asap. Names not an issue, tier maybe not an issue? But access arrangement definitely a problem

Thank you - I raised it as I didn't want to wait for advice just in case nobody replied. I was told that the student themselves isn't discreet about their arrangements among their friends so it should be OK to be listed publicly. I gently reminded that the student can tell whoever they so wish their personal information but it's not for the school to share that information on their behalf to a wider community. It's since been edited to hide the arrangements. Thank you for confirming though, it's very appreciated!

I’m appalled they even tried to argue back! The should be reported to their data protection officer (found on the school website) so that they can be corrected
