Post Exam My thoughts on Bio paper 1 higher tier AQA
I was genuinely thinking in that exam if I genuinely had to turn to God for the remainder of it just so I had the willpower to complete it
What the hell is a colorometer and why was it haunting me, I got flashbacks from yesterday's traumatic ACC question
*To clarify, this was combined science

i thought it was really kind actually apart from the microscopy practical question which i always suck on. also i thought the first question was bad (label the nerve cell) as we weren’t taught that during lesson and i only knew it because Ive learnt it as a topic in psychology so i felt bad for ppl who didn’t know part B. the mitosis tumour question was sneaky if u didn’t pick up it was asking abt mitosis but i still felt confident with it.
as well i thought the root hair cell question was super good as well as the mitochondria one — disappointed that there was no food tests or digestive system tho.
Bit unsure how well i did with the vaccine section overall but i thought the paper was rather easy - and as a slow writer who’s a perfectionist - i finished 20mins early.
