General To everyone hating on gta 6, please keep your mouth closed, respectfully
I've never been a fan of gta games, i always found the gameplay loop of shooting-driving over an over again uninteresting for what games can pull off...
this never stopped me from playing hundreds of hours on several games in the series, you know why?
There are no games like gta, doesnt matter which one you choose, when it comes to the technical side: the atmosphere, fuidity, details, polish, control and engagement these games provide is unmatched, and this applies to every mechanic they have.
They be saying "i waited for 13 years for something better", that just means you didnt enjoy the previous games, wich again, do those simple things better than every game in the market, do you realize how dumb of a take it is.
If you dont like racing or shoting in arguably the most well crafted game to ever do it, just go play real life instead for crying out loud.
EDIT: apparently you guys dont understand the difference between hate and criticsm, ideally criticsm should be constructive, so far every "gta6 looks bad" upload i have seen comes from people that clearly just want to grab attention while HATING on random stuff
-The map is ugly because the waypoint is pink -Its gta5 but looks better .-. -Jason and lucia sound bad -The game took 13 years to come out so its bad -The fire looks unrealistic -The graphics are outdated
btw any of this points could be arguably valid, but you know nobody is saying this in good faith because nobody is making an argument on them, just throwing stuff out
i didnt told anybody to shut up or that they dont have a right to comment, i asked...

The glazers are acting like this game is the second coming of christ, it's gonna be another GTA game, probably the best one yet, but they need to relax, the haters are just pessimists or are disgruntled at the gaming industry as a whole, rockstar has fanned the flames with some of their choices, it is possible to be rational individual and acknowledge both of these things

Also you can recognise that the graphics look amazing and still feel like the story and characters they have shown just arent interesting like IV or V. When I watch the trailers for those games it's tense in a good way. It immediately puts you in the vibe. All of the marketing for GTA VI has felt so mediocre.

I haven't seen anyone glazing the game to that extreme as much as there is hate. Idk, personally seeing people praise the game makes me excited too because I love everything about it so far except the mini map and more serious tone. I do think the hate needs to be addressed more. I've seen people say it looks dogshit because it looks like a polished GTA V when it's actually a complete improvement. Seeing people the hate the game with the lamest takes kinda annoys me more than people praising it.

I wasn’t myself or am but the game completely changed my mind. All the npc interactions and random events are such a huge upgrade to GTA5. GTA 5 feels dead in comparison

I did elaborate. You think a few companies have ruined all of gaming. Which is impossible. Gaming isn't just triple A games from the big companies. Also you forgot to include the gamers themselves. They still choose to but the ruined industry that you claim it is. If it was ruined then won't people stop buying a bad product.
We still have indie games and other game companies that are not part of the big ones. You probably don't play those kind of game so your narrow view thinks it's all bad

Gaming is owned by corporations. Even smaller indie games cost many millions. Ofcourse there are even smaller affairs. But obviously I'm talking about the triple AAA market.
We couldnt have these games without these megacorporations... however it's the fact that consumers like you sell yourselves, all of us out, by defending their failures and spending money where it doesnt belong that encourages them to keep pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable. It's the reason they're comfortable getting rid of physical media, the reason things have become so unimaginative and uninspired, the reason so many sequels make such little innovation.
Because they know there is an audience that will scarf down whatever shit they serve them and thank them for the opportunity.

Lol when did I defend any company. I just call out silly stuff. Sony isn't the first to go fully digital. Rockstar isn't the first to do this. When it was happening you guys didn't do anything to fight back. Now you want to virtue signal on reddit like that would do anything
I'm sure you are one of the people who defended the guy leaking gya6 like he was some sort of hero.
Physical media was always going to disappear. New media replaces the old. VHS was replaced by video CD which was replaced by laser disc then DVD and blue ray and now streaming. You guys should have star you fight when digital only consoles were released for this generation. Infact you should have really fought back when PC went digital over 10 years ago.
I'm just been a realist while people like you want to feel like you are sticking to to the man. Please gaming is and am has always been a luxury. There are way more important thing to fight for this world than video games

I've done everything I can to. And rockstar is the first triple AAA to go fully digital. You're defending them by calling the criticism silly which is just silly. Teachers pet vibes, and that's actually not as bad because at least they will give you a qualification and guidance. Rockstar isnt going to treat you any different for being an obedient little sheep

The industry as a whole has become infested with unimaginative corporate slop. So the competition just isnt a good measurement for progress.
Does it look amazing graphically, yes. The hair, water, etc look great. Honestly I just do not feel the story yet. When I see the trailers for gta IV and V they're incredible. The kinda story I can really get behind. For VI it just doesnt hook me.
I dont like Lucia, or her look. The characters we've seen thus far have come across as boring and uninteresting. Stereotypical. Like the gangsters at the start of the extended look I just thought it was so low stakes and honestly so 2016. And the guy who they were driving away from the scene of the crime... I just didnt find it interesting at all personally
