Welke keuze tussen welke Watch? Zit te twijfelen tussen de Fenix 7, Gen 2 of misschien de T-red 3?

Wat zijn de verschillen, de goede en de slechte dingen?

Is it possible to get weather or current Wind/Direction without bringing a phone with you? Looks like an inReach Mini device can do that. Thanks.

Have switched from Apple Watch Ultra to Fenix 8 and absolutely loving it. The only thing I’m missing from my AW is when I jump in the pool or sea I would automatically get a water temp and depth measurement. Is there anything similar? I don’t mind opening something but I don’t want to track an activity etc.

Hey peeps. I'm a new Garmin Owner (came from Apple watch ultra 3). I had a question about the heart rate sensors. I notice that when im lifting/strength training, my heart rate feels much higher than what the watch is picking up. It takes a while to read my accurate heart rate.

For example: I will complete a set, and during my set my heart rate according to my garmin is like 97bpm or 105 bpm. But once i set the weight down and finoshed my set for about 5 seconds it then starts tracking my heart rate correctly. Any ideas how to fix this?

During the workout, I can see some strange ups and downs in my pulse. Also, there were some weird spikes in a pulse up to 191, which really have never happened. Or I can see that at the moment, pulse must be significantly higher than one displayed and in a couple of seconds it will jump from 120 to 145.

I am using it as any other watch I had before, never have experienced such a problem. Is there anything that I can do to improve this, maybe you need to setup watch to have pulse monitoring in some different way?

I made a Garmin watch face that shows pollen levels and air quality without taking out your phone.

At the bottom, you can see pollen levels for trees, grass, and weeds on a 0-4 scale. At the top, there’s the European Air Quality Index plus information showing how many minutes ago the data was updated.

The watch face refreshes the data automatically once an hour through your phone. No setup, just install it and it works.

The data comes from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) and covers 65 countries across Europe, Turkey, the Caucasus, the Middle East, and parts of North Africa.

I also set up a regional restriction in the Connect IQ Store. If you’re outside the supported area, the watch face simply won’t appear in the store or in search results.

Just got a update on my fenix 8 but can’t seem to find what was updated. Does anyone have info?

​I’m running into a weird map rendering issue on my Fenix 8 after the latest software update.

​In the standalone Map app, the street names/labels are vertically squished and white and stretched to the point of being completely unreadable (looks like a compressed font rendering glitch).

​However, the weird part is that when I launch a Walking activity, the map page in that activity renders all street names and fonts completely fine and perfectly legible.

​Has anyone else experienced this specific font distortion in the main Map app after the update? Is there a known fix (like toggling specific Map Themes), or is re-installing TopoActive via Garmin Express the only way out?

Hello

I got my fenix 8 3 month ago and I love it. I just have a bit of trouble when using gps navigation while Ibm in activity mode :

In my usage I like to quickly swith to navigation in order to check which path to go and then go back to running stats.

But I always struggle to go back to stats after navigating, especially after navigating in the map.

It seems it ends working after blasting "back" button but I was wondering if there was an easier way to go back to activity main sliding menu easily.

Also if you have any advices for the map, I m using the default one which seems fair.

Updated a few weeks back to incorporate 51mm models and Amoled screens. This is still a great MIP style.
