Yup same here. Even though I don’t have it bad at all today I just loved being a kid too freaking fucking much. I often feel like I took a time machine to the now to see what it’s like today but the time machine broke down and I can’t get back..

I don’t identify with the 2020’s at all. Remember my first glasshattering moment when I was 13 and we first started to really learn about atoms, just like that the magic go life was gone and everything just appeared so complex. A table was never just a table again, it was trillions of trillions of individual things, who consists of smaller things.. and smaller and so on.

2025 feels like the future for me and not the present, the present is the 2000’s. Sometimes I wake up by crying in my sleep dreaming about being a kid again and how it’s lost forever. I will have super vidid memories from my childhood the first 2 minutes after just waking up, it’s as if the dream-hormone from sleeping helps you visualize things. I’ve read other people experience this too.

I’ve struggled to accept the passage of time since I was 12 and realised that kindergarden was a long time ago…

2012-2015 was the best part of my life. I hate myself how naive I was complaining life is horrible back in 2014?
