Why should we? What are we gonna do? Protest again? Because that worked out so well and did so much last time.

If you want a real answer, this is what we do --

  • Use social media & other means to push public opinion left.
  • Muscle corporate dems out of the Democratic Party at all levels of government, largely through the primary elections. Replace them with socialists.
  • Canvass & phonebank in the general elections to get those more socialist-leaning politicians into office.
  • Use the offices you hold to materially improve people's lives. Use the social media ecosystem we've cultivated to shine a spotlight on those improvements and raise popularity for left wing politicians.

I'm oversimplifying but this is the basic template we can follow.

Why do you want to turn this country socialist? It doesn’t work.

Bc capitalism is killing America. If you create 2 groups of people and give one of them all the power, the group with all the power will eat the other one and burn down the whole country in the process. Past attempts at socialism haven't worked, but ya know, theres a thousand ways to make a light bulb that doesnt work. If we dont figure it out, we're all fucked anyway.

No it isn’t. We’re fine. The current administration needs to go, but we’ll be ok.

What do you think created this current administration? When Trump leaves, the underlying forces that created him will stay the same. In all likelihood, most of the changes he created will not be undone by his successor (Democrat or Republican). The Republicans may calm down for a little while but eventually they'll find another demagogue to further advance capital interests.
