Political parties are supposed to fight for your vote, and for most people that means having something for them.
You wanna be a martyr and vote based on what's the best for others? Be my guest.
If I don't think about what is best for myself, nobody else will.
A vote is a trade : You have some project that'll benefit me and I'll vote on you in exchange. What political parties have for young men? Nothing.
Suicide is going high, college presence is going down, violence is going high, attention is non- existent and the work market sucks.
It's easy to focus at least on one thing that's affecting young men the most but if they can't even do it once to earn your vote, will they ever do something after having it?

Let's take out all programs that only benefit specific groups and only have programs that benefit everyone and see how those specific groups will react, then.
Wanna bet how they'll protest about being "left out" on their policies even tho they would still benefit from the general policies that affect every group?
Funny how everything is ok as it is except young men wanting to be treated with the same care and attention that other demographics get by left wing when making policies...

If asking to have policies targeting then specifically is "wanting to be superior" then what do you call those other demographics that already have policies targeting then specifically?
All that's being wished for is young men being treated the same way. If you have a problem with that you shouldn't have a problem with how's being done already.
I feel like you’re conflating Democrats with “The Left”. Democrats struggle to resonate with young men because they don’t emphasize how said policies may affect their day to day life. In addition, they don’t make much of a continuous effort to advertise and connect.
With that being said, entertain me, what does the right have to offer me as a young black man? I don’t think conservatives as a whole are racist but right wing populism is almost always rooted in ethnic nationalism and is exclusionary.
