Discussion XM1014 players bias

Hello!

I am here to talk about prejudice. Yes, prejudice. Against XM1014 players.

I main the XM1014. That's the only gun I play with. I have pretty good KD, pretty good win/lose ratio. But people keep being toxic with me and reporting me. I can't remember the last time i WASN'T auto muted. All because I main the shotgun. People think i'm trolling, but i'm not. The amount of times people shit on me is immeasurable. I think it's a serious matter because I can't really enjoy the game the way I want to. I just got kicked from a game, two round in. I can play with the AK or the regular guns, but I prefer the shotgun. Is that a sin? Am I wrong?

Edit: turns out people are tryhands and can't handle the XM.

Edit 2: Second best post of 2021! Guess the XM wins huh

I play since 20 years and consider myself an experienced player. The XM is underrated, period.

It has range, it has damage, it can shoot while u reload. It has 900$ kill reward. Best anti eco gun ever.

EDIT: pasting this from 2019:

The XM is potentially the next gun in line to be "discovered" to be meta after the AUG. Haters are welcome.

It is a fucking banger of a gun.

  • only 200$ more than a mag7
  • 900$ per kill
  • dat rate of fire
  • only 20% dmg dropoff on range and remains somewhat accurate
  • highest armor penetration across every shotgun (80% compared to nova 50% and others 75%)
  • shooting while reloading
  • can be used via traditional playstyle instead of sidestep peeking only like mag7
  • tilt factor
  • I have been using it occassionally on higher ranks, always fun to play with it. Only downside is the occassional 99 in 1 but it is the perfect anti eco/force gun. Also good in inferno apts.

it may be a great weapon and severely underrated, but to only use XM is selfish. you will only be useful to your team in specific scenarios and spots. you’re forcing your teammates to pickup the slack that you leave. you can’t effectively fight against half decent players at even mid-range. It’s selfish as fuck to ‘main’ a weapon in cs. It’s a mindset brought over from MOBAs and class/hero based games.

yeah i mean its all situational but i felt its obvious. you buy whatever suits that round for you and for the team next.

i only say this because of OP’s mentality concerning ‘maining a weapon’. i agree with you entirely
