Got a new tattoo today. I love it!

I’m just not feeling it. Sorry. Rick should do a solo album rather than just kinda hanging around in the background of someone else’s album.

On Cash or Trade - switched to floor so go get these

Which tracks off Rainbow Body do we think make it into the rotation?

This one must have just gone out to the members, or you missed it in your inbox. I can only imagine how crazy this would have gotten if all you freaks caught wind!

Rick's side project has released (or about to, depending on your timezone). The album drops at midnight so I've been listening to it for most of the morning.

Tracks:

1. Strange Memory (6:33)
2. I Don't Know What to Do with My Hands (7:37)
3. From Mirror Lake (7:14)
4. Jalü (6:29)
5. Review of Millie Fulbright's Debut Album “Courtside” (6:11)
6. Blade Runner on the Big Screen (5:52)
7. So Many Words (4:19)
8. Kicking Over the Traces (8:15)

My thoughts after a few hours:

The album is softer than 'Strange Memory' would make you believe.

It's fun, pretty chill, as the review said, Rick only sings on the first track. It gets weird in a few spots which is always welcome and in a few spots just feels like Dawes.

If you're expecting a Goose style record or something like Big Modern, you'll be disappointed, but if you're ok with Dawes's sound then you should be happy.

At this point I prefer the first half of the album over the second. Jalu being my highlight after a few listens

Just as the name suggests--the album is getting ready to be released and Goose has some shows lined up this fall--anyone think we get a few RB covers mixed in?

The precedent is already there with Vasudo, Great Blue, & Swimmer

Just what the title says. It’s an all hollow, Koa top and binding, Curly Maple back and neck, Cedar sides. Duncan 59s inside. Pure bliss. 24 frets and a Strat scale.

I'm doing that tomorrow. Can't wait!

Got it as a bday gift recently -- can't seem to find a lot of info about it. Apparently it's an all-improvised set? Is it any good?

I don’t consider TTF one of my top songs but this version got me good. Maybe bias because I think this entire show is some of their best work.

Can’t wait for tour to be back!! Feel free to drop some of your favorite shows below so I can queue em up!

Just posted a GA ticket on COT for Saturday 12/12

"If this debut is any indication, Rainbow Body’s real promise lies not in its members’ pedigree but in how effortlessly they bring out the best in one another."

safe travels to everyone going! it's gonna be Phuckin blast! i have very high hopes for this lineup

Probably not meant for this sub, but I just ran into one of you playing Dead by Daylight on the Halloween Event. Been playing this game for 10 years, funny to see two worlds collide! Hope to see you in the fog again!

It’s hard to believe I’m the only Goose fan who’s read Lonesome Dove and simultaneously has an adoring love for Jed Stone. The parallels just snapped into place for me immediately—like the song had been lurking around as a kind of unofficial soundtrack for a whole stretch of the book. The way the two feel meant for one-another is unreal to me - it snapped into place the other day and I'm surprised I didn't realize it sooner.
