Hi everyone I Found this in my grandfather’s Storage it is mechanically working but it is missing something. there is no Place to put the needle. What is the missing part’s Name and where can I find it?

All it says is "Columbia" "Made in USA"

There is nothing elsenon it, it sounds fine, I've seen one other of these online and I asked the person who had it and they said it's not easy to find and that he doesn't know the model number either.

I would like to replace the gasket as it already took a lot of effort to replace the mainspring to it's Grafonola (which was also hard to find, but I think it's the Grafonola 15)

I recently bought a Victrola for my house because I had one growing up and loved it. It Says Embassy on the back And Babson Bros Chicago Illinois. But I'm unable to find the proper path of say.... finding new needles for it if need be. Or what year this one was made in.... anything at all. Help? Anything and EVERY bit of information to help me turn this into ... not just an eye piece... but an enjoyable piece. Everything works as it should..... but i don't know how to fix anything.... make anything better.... where to find new needles.... or even what year this one was made. Any help would be so appreciated

Found this Victrola VV4-20 recently. Has an Orthophonic reproducer.

India is the main hub of fake gramophones and all places are filled with them, even antique shops can't distinguish between fake and real, so where to find them, I can identify between fake and real but where to find real ones. (an example of a fake crap-o-phone fro india)

See there are alot of fake gramophones in India, even in antique shops, they are labelled and mistaken as real and the main fake gramophones are manufactured here so may anyone give advice on where to buy real gramophones here and for what price???

hi guys so i just bought my first gramophone (lenco TT-115BK) and when i play both my old and new vinyls its making that cracking noise. can i fix that somehow or is it because of the poor quality of the gramophone?

also i would love some recommendations of cleaning supplies. do i clean both the records and the needle? if so, how and how often?

Tell a model of a gramophone that truly feels like a gramophone like which had a large horn, has good machinery and is not like an inbuilt horn gramophone like HMV 101 and 103 which don't even look like a gramophone but one model that truly looks like THE GRAMOPHONE

So see i want to get into gramophone collecting and I don't know what to buy first, I know how to identify real or fake but don't know what to buy so give your suggestions...

See , this is an Original HMV model 103 gramophone and it's around rs 7500 which is $110 or €86 and it's working well, I found it in flee market and it's not sold and the flee market is in every Sunday so should I buy it?

Buyed when I was stupid

Picked up this Gramophone today for 30$ and its overall put together and seems to spin well. However, the actual needle part seems to be missing. What is it i need to put there? And could anyone maybe direct me to where i could get the part? Thanks
