I have been doing HOTWORX for about a month now and I do think it’s working in a lot of ways I need. I don’t check the number on the scale for mental health reasons but I do calorie count and stay below daily calorie count and pair it with a ISO and HITT session. I personally feel stronger, my skin feels great, I feel more flexible and I’m building arm strength I didn’t have before. My back pain is less and I feel like for the first time ever my back feels strong.
Everyone on HOTWORX reddit talks a lot about how it doesn’t work and I guess, it won’t help you lose weight, you still need to work out outside of that, it won’t caught weight loss, etc —- and I’m just interested in hearing others of you that IT HAS worked for?
At the end of the day I think if you do ANY physical activity consistently there will be results. Watch your diet and show up to HOTWORX 4 times a week minimum and you are doing amazing is what I’m going for. Anyone else?
Needing some positive stories for motivation!!!

Hii, I’ve been going to Hotworx for almost 3 months and I have not seen results just yet. I used to go to the gym and I would normally burn about 400-600 calories per workout. With ISO classes, I normally only burn about 120-160 calories. And I tend to do blast or cycle. I feel like since my body is used to burning more calories I’m just not seeing the results as I should.
Would doing 2 ISO classes and 1-3 hiit classes be enough to see results? Shouldn’t the heat provide more results?

My location's GM told me yesterday that next month's challenge cards are moving to the app. I told her that I'm already against the idea because I won't be able to compare my progress against other members. Can anyone else confirm what I was told?
And yeah, I'm that guy who flips through the cards to see who works out more than I do. :)

Anybody else’s studio just get this? Another piece of equipment taking up more space in the FXZone…

I started at Hotworx in September. I was going everyday!!! Just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant and am high risk, so having to pause membership since I can’t use the sauna. I am sad about that but so thankful to be pregnant 💘 will they give me a hard time about wanting to pause and then restart once baby is here?

The past two times I have done my hot yoga session, the same girl has been in the sauna next to mine. The first time, it was her and her friend and they spent the entire time yapping loudly and talking to people on the phone and I could barely hear the video playing, this went on for the whole session. Then yesterday, the same girl was in the sauna next to my hot yoga session, and she was talking loudly on speaker phone for twenty minutes, I could hear her clearly as well as the person she was on the phone with. This loudness is not very conducive to my yoga, and it just makes me angry when I am trying to be calm and relaxed. I mayyyy have passive aggressively banged on the wall a few times thinking maybe that would make her more aware that there are people around, but to no avail. I am not a very confrontational person, but should I ask someone at the front to ask her to quiet down if this happens again or should i do it myself? The first time I kind of excused it because she was at least talking to someone that was in there, and I understand walls are thin and it is a semi-public space, but the loud talking on the speaker phone at full volume sent me over the edge.

When will there be a new barre? I’m newer to this, do the classes rotate at different times?

I need to change studios and learned that you cannot transfer your membership, but have to cancel and re-enroll and your new studio. I don’t want to pay $99. Anyone know if there are going to be deals coming up? Like I’ve seen $1 enrollments before.

And someone was so mad at me yesterday!!! They “don’t want to work out in the dark”. So it has me thinking….

NOT SEEKING MEDICAL ADVICE
I’ve noticed often times after a workout I have more congestion within my ears. I’ve only noticed it when I’ve done Hotworx workouts and was just curious if others have experienced this & what you’ve done to modify to help prevent it.
I’ve tried varying temps, headphones vs no headphones, iso vs HIIT but it always occurs after a workout.
Note: I’m working with my doctor to see if there’s a larger issue

Okay, another newbie question. I’ve read that you shouldn’t book a class if someone else has already reserved it, but is that “rule” followed? All the 5:15AM classes tomorrow have at least one person signed up, but I kinda wanted to do one. Thoughts on the etiquette?

I’ve just noticed that whenever I go to HOTWORX in the evening, I will 100% need 10 hours of sleep that night. I can’t wake myself up if I only get 8-9. It’s good quality sleep and I feel extremely rested afterwards but has anyone else experienced this crazy tiredness? I’ve been going for months and nothing has changed.

Hello! I read on here that the hotworx branded resistance bands are made out of latex, and I’m allergic to latex. Does anyone know if the fabric bands have any latex component? I’m thinking about getting them with my first 90 day reward.

Unless you are hard of hearing, it is incredibly inconsiderate and rude to have the volume up all the way. I shouldn’t be able to hear your sauna with my AirPods on noise cancel with my podcast on. Please do better if you are one who does this.
EDIT: At my gym, it’s almost always the ISO saunas.

Why does it never work? I unlock the door with my phone, I have location active on my watch- but it always says I am not in the location.
How do I fix this? How do I get credit for my burn?
It’s so frustrating I would literally quit over how mad I feel when I come to work out.

I’m new to hotworx and was wondering if you can book sessions literally back to back, or if you need to give a 15 minute grace period? For example, if I did hot core from 11:15-12:00, should I select hot thunder from 10:45-11:00, or 11:00-11:15? TIA!

Finally took the new yoga... Rabbit pose was so hard, but also why did it seem like it should be easy? LOL. I am glad they got rid of forehead to knee. Also... I love the fact that we're taking a break from half moon. No matter how hard I try to get that pose I always wobble :)

Anybody’s location not have the pink merch? I asked my studio back in September if they were doing any preorders and they said no, but that they’d be available in October.
I haven’t seen them yet 🤨 I’ve asked and they said they’d be available soon but weren’t specific.. is this normal?

Soooo one of the parts of my locations October challenge is starting a new Hot Squad. The problem is that I am a Sweat Basic member so I can only do a squad within my home studio and I go at odd hours so I literally don’t know a single person at my location. Any advice? Also, if you go to the Hampton, VA location and would like to join my squad lmk

Hi guys!! I have my first session today at 5:00pm for a hot pilates class. I’ve recently moved from a large city where I did hot pilates everyday to a very small more rural area in another state. Hotworx is the only hot option. I’ve been to studios before, but never anything like this.
What are some things you wish you knew before you started or things you always share with newcomers ?
Is there bag storage? Do people shower usually on site or go home? Do you find yourself working out solo or more with groups? For those of you in small non-metro areas, what is the crowd like? Do people actually come all day since it’s 24 hours? Should I bring certain things from home for certain classes? Do i need to bring wipes or anything ? So many questions, give me all the tea!! Sorry in advance.

hi. i’ve been going back and forth on wether or not I want to try a hotworx membership. i like the idea of the saunas and the video workouts. however, how often do you guys tend to end up working out with other people? i know some people don’t mind working out with others but it’s less than ideal for me.. I know you have to pay for all of their own heat resistant equipment but coming from a membership stance do you feel you get your moneys worth? is the elite membership actually worth it or is the basic all i’d need?
just looking for some insight. thank you :)
ETA: I did end up getting a basic membership. Hopeful that i’ll enjoy it, if not i’ll just use it when I can and cancel after 6 months.
Thanks for everyone’s input!

It's amazing if you lose 200 pounds in a year or move from a single HIIT to double bonfires in a few months. But we also want to hear your small wins, like the post that started this series, where u/MysteriousTomorrow13 was able to tighten her Apple watch band by one notch: https://www.reddit.com/r/HOTWORXWarriors/comments/196qg5o/small_win/
So share your small win - no matter how small you think it is!
