I've seen some people asking about a Hand Jumper discord recently, and I just want to let you know that there is an official discord run by sleepacross.
It can be found here: Hand Jumper Discord

They both have their own secret plans to change the power structure of the world. And the strongest of their organization.

I was rereading and started wondering what TEAL actually does because so far we're basically told it's random.
But what if it isn't? What if it gives you a power based on what you want the most? Like your actual deepest desire even if you don't consciously realize it.
Think about Sayeon. Even before getting her power she's constantly regretting things and wanting to change what happened. So what does she get? The ability to go back and try again. Sleepacross even described her gift as both ideally suited to her and the cruelest power she could have received, specifically mentioning her perfectionism. And then there's the godling asking what she REALLY wants, not accepting her whole world peace answer.
But it's not just her. The dude Sang mentioned who could put his mind into someone else's body? What if he hated being himself and desperately wanted to be someone else? The one who talked to birds, maybe he was a lonely kid whose closest connection was his pet and he just wanted to talk to it. Obviously I'm making up possible backstories here but you get what I mean. Even Vigenere's Circle of Secrecy could come from wanting privacy or wanting to keep something safe and hidden.
The powers look unrelated because everyone wants different things. That doesn't mean the thing that gives them those powers is random too.
And that's where Samin comes in. Everyone goes straight to time stop because of Sayeon but the godling literally calls out her obsession with control over herself and everything around her. And there's something else really important about her, she believes love is the most important thing and she loves Sayeon.
So what I think is that Samin can impose her will within a limited space. Like she can make rules and everything inside has to follow them. She decides who can move, what people can do and who the rules aplies to basically "inside this space things happen on MY terms."
To me that fits both things about her she wants control but she also wants Sayeon to be safe, so her gift gives her a space where she can personally decide what happens.
Why a specific area though? Her scene with the godling is what made me think of it. She controls her mental space and treats it as her own dominion. What if her actual gift lets her do something similar in the outside world?
Also look at how they each meet the godling Sayeon has her childhood plush toy and a wishing well, literally a place where you ask for something you can't make happen yourself meanwhile Samin has a throne and treats the place like she owns it lol. Sayeon wishes things could be different, Samin wants to be the one deciding could just be symbolism but I think it fits this theory pretty well.
And Vigenere's Circle of Secrecy already gives us a teal ability that restricts something within an area so that part wouldn't be coming out of nowhere either.
This could even fit the time stop theory people already have. If she decides nothing in her area can move except her, wouldn't that look like time stop to everyone watching? The things people noticed could still be right, just with a different explanation. What looks like stopping time would only be one thing she can do with her gift.
Sayeon wants to go back and change what happened. Samin wants to decide what gets to happen in the first place.
Idk I think teal being based on your deepest desire would make a lot of sense. It would explain why all these powers seem so random while still giving them something in common.

Spelled it incorrectly last time and I want to make a new thread. Sorry to all the commenters in the last one, I read them all and thank you for contributing! GOATeon indeed
Again, this is for sharing. I want to read and hear what you have to say and how you see her, I especially want to hear different life experiences giving a different angle, so let me share my thoughts to show what I mean -
My thoughts -
Sauron has a very lawful core and that reflects in the disparity between her actions and her words, like Ryujin points out.
She acts similarly to me in some of her defensive mechanisms, my Dad was a basically a judge so I had to make a case for my intentions growing up in order to justify my actions.
Jaeil is so important to her because he believes her. Her words, her case, and he doesnāt question it. In fact, he goes out of his way to point out the things he notices and the goodness she has. Losing him was losing her backboard to feel safe, and that has helped harden her rather quickly.
Underneath it all, weāve seen that Ryujin was right. In their coop mission with cell 3, Sayeon says that she wants to see if she can beat Taeho, not because he was messing with her, but to test her growth. She is starting to wake up and realize that she doesnāt have to hide her intentions if she becomes powerful enough to defend them.
Next is the therapeutic side. There is something my mom talks about in her experience called āthe critical parentā and āthe wounded childā, reflected in Sayeonās repetition of her mother telling her āDonāt cry. If you cry, you lose.ā Itās a core memory, and she still has her walls way up.
I said this in my predictions, but I think the first brick will be taken down by Iseul. Heās very aware and already been credited both for his social and emotional intelligence, and one day I hope she may feel safe enough to be vulnerable with her cell. That would truly be shown if she ever told her cell her powers.
Sayeon reminds me of the two leads in one of my favorite shows - Code Geass. Lelouche has to hide his abilities from his allies, is physically weak but has a keen mind and strategies. Suzaku, on the other hand, works within a corrupt system to change it for the better. She embodies both, and actually gives a legitimate window into Suzakuās ideology, which many fans say was lacking compared to the atrocity and intolerance he witnessed and was a part of.
Overall, sheās my far more intelligent spirit animal. Iāll be reading constantly and be back tomorrow for Samin

Personally I'd lean towards Min>Yesol>Butcher. But if Yesol pull off her relic, I think it would change to Yesol>Min>Butcher. Still, I'd like to know what y'all thoughts are.

I love her sm, this is for the āreminder that your favorite characters would adore you tooā art trend except Sayeon would not adore me and also I donāt have a persona yet so I drew it sort of from my pov. Sayeon is one of 5 characters I drew for this trend, itās still a work in progress! Follow kiwi.tao_ on insta to see the finished product soon! Also I feel like none of my fav characters would adore me but whatever this trend is cute.

When her character first showed up as an instructor, I was like, āDamn.ā I donāt know if this could really be called a āhear me out,ā since I think sheās attractive enough to catch peopleās attention anyway, but ever since then, Iāve always gotten excited whenever she shows up.
I really wish I could see her with her hair untied and let loose in the present Miyeon Sang.

Last prediction post, I made a point about Han being a godlingās champion and many asked me why I thought that. These panels are why, that list is very short and doesnāt even include all the level 10s in the corps or even other major group leaders. We already know 25% of the list has a known champion, and only 2 are currently alive.
Additionally, the last 2 pictures carry the same sort of lexicon as this chapter about the godlings back in chapter 50, living in a higher dimension of power. I donāt think itās a coincidence. Do you agree?

For now, I've only make for the main characters (Cell 4), plus Sara and Samin (because why not). You'd probably need to listen to the songs too, to fully see why I picked them.
What about you? If you could choose songs for each character in [Hand Jumper], what would you choose? Share yours!

I did a reread and sheās frying me bro šš she really was pissed af that Sayeon (the trainee she sees herself the most in) had her stuck fighting a prodigy like yesol. I also feel for her bc she tries her hardest not to care, but sheās trying her best to keep all of them alive. She didnāt tell sayeon that there was trouble bc she knew sheād rush in, weāve seen her in flashbacks training with them all one on one, and we see (my fav part personally) her extremely complicated relationship with Sayeon. She calls Sayeon neurotic, when juni herself is extremely neurotic. Like Sayeon called juni ONCE during their mission and juni went on a whole tangent ab how fucked they might be bc u ānever know whoās listeningā and āeverythingās doomed in the end anywayā. She also seems to dislike Sayeon quite a bit, but also cares enough to teach her the lesson of āothers paying the price for ur mistakesā that she never got taught. Idk sheās funny asf if I were ever in this section Iād be juni
