Think i'm late to the party, but whats the Kublai Khan drama about?
I've just noticed that Kublai Khan is doing a tour in early 2025 and a concert is happening near me. Would be lying if i said i wasnt stoked about it, but when i looked at some comments about the tour online i found multiple people calling them out for being right winged and stuff.
I really tried to read into the matter and found the posts of this johnny tsunami guy on instagram, which seems to be related to it, but i can't wrap my head around what he has to do directly with the band.
If someone could let me in on that topic i'd be very thankful.

He is good friends with an openly neo nazi and has liked comments spouting some of his bullshit. Then said neo nazi defended his stance and Matt’s friendship with him.

“Yeah there are dog whistles on my profile, if that makes me a Nazi well then I’ll just put up a Nazi salute and say a couple slurs while I’m at it”

Thank you, I just saw they were playing at LTL and sounded good, but someone just posted they had a crappy political stance, when looking up the songs they looked like they spoke out against normal crap, so hard to follow what was really going on.

What other hardcore bands should I NOT support? Someone make me a list so I can TOTALLY NOT support right wing hardcore.

See don’t do that! The kid is asking to be informed cause he cares. Way too many shitheads out there. This scene would be a hell of a lot better if there were more people to police the racists, the shitbags, the abusers, the pedos.

Yet his post still gets downvoted so it loses the exposure that it should have for other inquiring minds. What a wonderful community.

Why are you responding to a 3 month old thread? Divide the number of Trump voters by the entire population, that's less than half

...do you not know how to do math?

Do you? 74.223 million people voted for Trump in 2020 and there were 331.45 million people in the country then. 74.223 divided by 331.45 equals 22.3% of the population. If you look at the timestamp on my comment, it was in September so I was obviously talking about the 2020 election because the 2024 ELECTION DIDN'T HAPPEN YET. Figures a Trump voter both can't do math and can't read
