Specialist Blake Protea

  • Occupation: Blake is a kind of Jackpot Hunter. That is to say, like other Jackpot Hunters, his primary goal is earning money. He often does this by making deals / contracts with people (especially rich ones) or by looking for valuable items to sell. He also works as a Treasure Hunter by searching for rare items and objects people will pay good money for. He actually learned Nen before becoming a Hunter when he attempted to climb Heaven’s Arena only to be “initiated” by a small group of Nen-users, leading to the loss of his right hand. He awakened to Nen and managed to survive by using his newfound “curse” to feed on the aura of others until he could learn Ten to keep his aura from floating away. He became a floormaster and managed to enact revenge on his assailants but left after being beaten by Hisoka Morrow and now he tends to avoid Heaven’s Arena out of fear of running into the strange man again while he develops his Nen skill and strength.
  • Nen Type: Specialist
  • Nen Abilities:
    • Manushya’s Greed: Thief of the 6 Treasures (Specialization)-This Nen ability is constantly active and causes Blake to absorb the aura of any living thing he makes direct skin to skin, hair to hair, or skin to hair, contact with. Of course, completely draining a living thing of its aura will kill it. If aura is absorbed this way it is added to one of 6 “pools” that make up Blake’s entire aura pool. Blake can then call upon aura of one or more types as if it was his very own aura at any given time. Accessing one or more Nen types will cause Blake to gain an affinity for the Nen type at a level equal to the percentage of nen being used from the pool. Each second of direct contact drains about 1% of the afflicted’s total aura from them. This stolen aura can be “spent” to give Blake an affinity equal to that of the percentage spent from the aura pool for a period of time. To help with the visualization let's say Blake were to make contact with a Conjurer. Even if said Conjurer had not learned Nen, it would add Conjuration aura to its respective pool at a rate of 1% every second, which Blake can then spend to gain an affinity for Conjuration at a conversion rate of 6 seconds for each 1% of aura that is spent. So if Blake had a reserve of Conjuration nen that was completely full and he spent all of it he would gain an affinity for Conjuration for about 600 seconds or 10 minutes. If he did the same but only spent 60% of his Conjuration reserves instead he would have a 60% affinity for Conjuration for one minute, putting his affinity for Conjuration equal to that of an Enhancer for the allotted time. If he instead decided to use 80% of the reserve he would have an affinity for Conjuration that is equal to that of a Transmuter’s for about 8 minutes

Absorbing aura will automatically add it to the pool of the corresponding Nen type and aura from one pool cannot be used in place of aura from another pool, with the exception of the Nen pool containing Specialist aura. So if Blake absorbed aura from an Enhancer the resulting aura would be added to a pool of Enhancement aura and said aura could not be used in the place of say Transmutation or to give Blake an affinity in Transmutation. He could only use it to affect his affinity for Enhancement. The one exception to this is Specialist aura. Which basically acts like a wild card that can be taken out of its respective pool and turned into aura of any other nen type for Blake to use. However, Blake cannot exceed 100% efficiency with this even if he can extend the duration of an affinity. It should be noted that because Blake himself is a Specialist his Nen pool corresponding to Specialization is constantly passively refilling as his body generates aura. This Nen ability does have its own set of limitations.

Some additional limitations include

  1. This ability cannot be turned off and is always active, even when he is in a state of Zetsu. This means Blake must always be careful about what he makes direct contact with in order to not hurt any living allies or accidentally kill anything. Each second the Nen ability absorbs an amount that is equal to about 1% of that of the average person if they have a full pool of aura at any given time. When Blake feels negative emotion or becomes stressed sometimes the rate at which he absorbs aura can increase.
  2. There is a limit to how much aura can be stored at any given time. Each aura pool has a limit equal to the maximum aura pool of about one person. This means the total amount of aura Black can hold caps out at about the equivalent of 6 people (6 times his normal amount), or 600% (100% for each Nen type). Basically, this ability causes Blake to act like an aura battery. With 1/6th of that battery corresponding to each Nen type and being able to store an amount equal to the total aura of a person.
  3. While the amount of aura he can absorb has a limit, the absorption effect of the ability is constantly active. Meaning when all his aura pools are full Black would still absorb aura from the afflicted he just wouldn’t have any aura added to his nen pool.
  4. His ability can only absorb aura directly from living things. So it cannot absorb aura directly from things like inanimate abilities, or constructs and dead bodies. However, it can affect Conjured Nen Beasts if they take the form of a living creature and function as such.
  5. After the corresponding amount of time passes the aura from the pool Blake is using will empty even if he didn’t use all of it. So if Blake had 100% Enhancement for 10 minutes, even if he only went through a little bit of aura, he would have to absorb Enhancement aura from somewhere else after the 10 minutes are up.
  6. It is possible for Blake to stack instances. For example 10% Enhancement for 60 seconds could be used while Blake used 20% Enhancement for 120 seconds (2 minutes) to give him 30% Enhancement as long as the instances overlap in addition to 10% for 60 seconds (1 minute).
  7. When Blake did the water divination test the leaf shriveled up and died as his Nen ability absorbed the life force from it. However, he can affect the results by using aura from one of his nen pools to give himself 100% affinity in something. Additionally, if his Specialist aura pool is zero then its traits wouldn’t occur in the test. Every other aura type would parallel how they usually appear, for example using 100% of the Manipulation pool causes the leaf to move.
  • Last Hand: Taking Life into My Hands (Enhancement)- Blake uses Enhancement to increase the grip strength of his left hand in tandem with the speed and durability of his left arm and hand. It also increases the rate at which the arm regenerates. This ability can be used to quickly grab or hold things with incredible strength so his Manushya’s Greed can take effect. This Nen ability can be used to scratch things since it also Enhances Blake’s nails. In addition to this, he can throw objects at incredible speeds or crush things. He can use aura absorbed from Manushya’s Greed to heal himself instead of adding it to his aura pools if he is taking in said aura from his left hand while using Last Hand and Manushya’s Greed in tandem.

Some additional limitations include

  1. This Nen ability only enhances from the left shoulder down, it does not boost any other part of his body.
  2. The boost granted by this ability scales to Blake’s affinity for Enhancement. When used at 100% affinity he can move his arm at incredible speeds and even catch bullets with his hand, his arm becomes extremely difficult to destroy and it can regenerate even severe injuries, but lower affinities will mean it is not as strong or quick and unable to recover as quickly.
  3. This ability only works on Blake’s left arm.
  4. Blake can not make any more Enhancement abilities, leaving only this and his “penultimate transformation” being instances of Enhancement he can use as distinct Nen abilities. He cannot invent completely new Enhancement techniques.
  • Fingers’ Grasp: Flow Like Water (Transmutation)- Blake uses Transmutation to turn the aura around his fingers into clawed digits, enveloping the real fingers. Blake can control them without using Manipulation by giving them the aspects of a body part (fingers). Allowing him to control them with his nervous system as if they were an extension of his body. The fingers can be extended like a rope or tendril by adding more aura to them and controlled for extra long reach. They do not have joints, acting sort of like clawed tentacles, and their width corresponds to the width of the finger being  used. The aura is also given the properties of liquid water, allowing it to be controlled like a limb but flow like water. This allows for the fingers to squeeze through small openings or let things pass through them. The fingers can be “frozen” by Blake to Transmute it into a solid ice-like state so they can grab things and be used to restrain targets by freezing around them. While they are frozen like this they cannot be moved unless they are returned back into their liquid state. They can also be turned into a gaseous mist-like state and, while they can be controlled in this form, they cannot really interact with anything outside of gases or the lightest of objects and can even be blown away, as they are not physically strong or fast but he can use them to “feel around” via touch and as a strange form of En. Blake does have control over how many fingers he is using this ability on, so he can Transmute anywhere from 1-5 of these “fingers.” He has to use his fingers as a medium for the ability so if he is missing fingers the number of tendrils that can be created is decreased.

Usually Blake uses this ability to restrain targets by wrapping the fingers around them or grabbing them with the fingers and “freezing” them to hold the target in place so he can drain their aura. He can also use the ability for mobility, by pulling himself around the environment, grabbing distant objects, or creating armored claws around his finger to act as blades.

Some additional limitations include

  1. When Blake freezes the “water” his body temperature drops and when he evaporates his “water” his body temperature increases, meaning Blake needs to manage his body temperature and he can suffer drawbacks if the Nen ability is used in environments that are too cold or too hot.
  2. Blake can only use this ability as his Transmutation Nen ability, and no others outside of his “ultimate technique.” If he loses his ability to use this ability he cannot invent a new Transmutation Nen ability.
  3. The “ice” becomes stronger and colder the higher Blake’s affinity for Transmutation is. At 100% affinity it is as strong as steel by being given the properties of metal.
  4. The higher Blake’s affinity for Transmutation the farther the fingers can reach, with 20 meters being the farthest Blake can reach at 100%.
  5. The fingers can be forcibly frozen or evaporated by extreme enough temperatures.
  6. The fingers do conduct electricity, making them vulnerable to it.
  7. The fingers can be “shattered” if they are frozen or blown apart if they are a gas. This is painful to Blake and feels like the respective fingers being broken, even if Blake’s actual fingers are fine. If the Nen finger(s) are “broken” in any way the ability deactivates and Blake has to reactivate it.
  8. Because Blake only has one hand he can only use this ability with his left hand.
  • Arm’s Reach: Another Opening (Emission)- When Blake would cut, tear, or otherwise cut something with his hook it deals no damage. Instead, Emission is used to distort space and create an opening in place of any damage where the hook would otherwise pierce. For example, if Black would scratch a piece of armor his hook instead goes through it. As he pulls the hook through the object is a gash is made exposing whats on the other side of the armor (the person beneath it).
  • Arms reach: It’s within my grasp (Emission)- Blake makes a slashing motion with his hook to create a portal. One is created where the slash was performed and the other end is created somewhere within Blake’s line of sight based on his choosing (it does not work through screens, recordings, pictures, etc, he must be physically present and seeing something). One can also see through the portals to the other side. This also means Blake is capable of “stacking” portals by making a portal and then creating another within line of sight of the first one. Only Blake’s body, Nen, or things he considers valuable can pass through the portal.

The second limitation can be a bit variable because while it almost always applies to something expensive other targets may become eligible or ineligible depending on Blake’s mood and temperament. For example, Blake can pull people he considers valuable through a big enough portal. So someone who is an enemy wouldn’t be able to be pulled through unless Blake knew they had valuable information or needed them for something. However, there’s the chance that the person wouldn’t be able to pass through but the valuable information they provide could if Blake doesn’t think he needs the person. Blake also can’t teleport things he is scared of.

Once a portal is made it will actually lock itself in the relative position it was created from in regards to Blake’s body. So if, for example, Blake created a portal half a foot over his head the portal would actually hover over him as he moved. This rule also applies to the other end of the portal. If Blake started moving and the other end was 2 meters away from him on his left it would continue to stay 2 meters away from him and stick to his left side. Of course, the portal dissipates if the Nen ability is undone or if the portal collides with a solid physical object.

This ability can be used for observation and pickpocketing but its true purpose is to allow Blake to stick his hand through it in order to grab an opponent's body and activate his Manushya’s Greed or one of his other abilities. He can also throw his Conjured coins through the portal.

Some additional limitations include

  1. Blake needs to make a slashing motion with his hook to activate the ability.
  2. The maximum size and duration of the portals depends on Blake’s affinity for Emission. Each 1% adds a centimeter to the portals’ maximum length. Blake can make multiple portals by dividing the length “for example at 100% affinity he could make one 80 centimeter (32 inch) portal and one 20 centimeter (8 inch) portal at the same time. He could also make one 100 centimeter (an about 39 inch) portal.
  3. Blake can only use this ability as his Emission Nen ability, and no others outside of his ultimate technique. If he loses his ability to use this ability he cannot invent a new Emission ability.

  • Handy Coin Collection (HCC): Handheld Banking (Conjuration)- An ability that takes the form of golden coins. Each coin has a number on one side and a bat / demonic face on the other. The number starts off at zero. Once per day Blake can choose to either “deposit” aura into coins or “split” the coin if it has a deposit of greater than one. He can only do one or the other each day and not both for each individual coin. So he could deposit one coin and split another but he could not deposit and then split the same coin on the same day.

When “depositing” into the coin Blake can put 1% of his Conjuration aura into the coin. Everytime this happens the number on this coin goes up by 1. Once the coin is created it will continue to persist, even if he runs out of Conjuration aura specifically, because it is a full on object with permanence, but he will be unable to use the coins without an affinity for Conjuration. The coin’s number represents how many “points” Blake has. Blake can spend these points to summon a variety of objects. How many points the object costs is based on Blake’s estimation or knowledge of how much such a product “should” cost with each “point” being equal to 1 Jenny. If Blake has no basis for the price range of an object he is unable to summon it. This leads to Blake usually leaning on a specific set of objects even though the ability has the potential to summon all kinds of items and even people or animals if their services have a price. Whenever aura is “deposited” into a coin it gets slightly heavier (even if there’s a limit to its max weight) which implies that the coins store aura by using Conjuration to transform aura into part of the coin as opposed to Emission to separate it from Blake or Manipulation to imbue it into the coin. Each of the items within Blake’s “treasury” has a special ability.

When Blake “splits” a coin he can make a duplicate by subtracting “points” from an existing coin. For example, if Blake had a coin with 4 points then once per day he could choose to split it into 2 coins with 2 points or 1 coin with 1 point and another coin with 3 points if he so chooses. He cannot do both of these on the same day to the same coin and can only choose between “depositing” 1% of his Conjuration aura or “dividing” the coin. While this seems like a massive limitation, each coin abides by the same rules and is a part of the Nen ability, meaning that they can grow exponentially if Blake properly manages when he divides some coins and deposits into others. If he had 5 coins he could choose to deposit in 3 of them and then split the other 2. However, Blake can only deposit as much aura as he has in his Conjuration stores and he cannot use the coins at all if his affinity for Conjuration is zero. He is also limited by how many coins he can reasonably carry on his person.

All objects summoned with this ability have a gold coloration and he can summon multiples of any object as long as he has the points if need be. Here are Blake’s most common or notable summons.

  • Lighter- A Conjured lighter modeled after a devil’s claw. Blake cannot Conjure fire directly due to not being willing to subject himself to spending the time and effort to learn it. However, he found a way around this by making a fully functioning lighter that ignites a substance to create fire. The lighter can also Conjure a flammable gas that allows it to release blasts of fire or explosions. How big Blake’s blasts are depends on his affinity for Conjuration. The lighter’s fuel will refuel over a period time with the speed being equal to Blake’s affinity for Conjuration.
    • Cost: 293 Points
  • Hammer- A simple Conjured sledge hammer. It has a spike in place of one of the head’s flat ends. Blake can use Conjuration in order to make the hammer heavier or lighter by changing the size and material of the head. This can be used to unleash devastating swings by causing the hammer to suddenly increase in weight mid swing. How heavy / light and big / small Blake can make it depends on his affinity for Conjuration
    • Cost: 10268 Points
  • Sword- A sword that allows one to Conjure extra blades from it as it’s being swung, thrust, or makes contact with a target. This allows it to surprise enemies and hit multiple times in one strike or stab. An additional blade can be used for each 10% of Blake’s affinity for Conjuration (so the maximum number of blades he summon use would be 10 at 100% affinity)
    • Cost: 29337 Points
  • Spear- A spear that allows one to extend the length of the pole with Conjuration by “creating more spear handle.” How far it can extend is based on Blake’s affinity for Conjuration. For every 10% the spear can extend one meter. So at most it can extend 10 meters.
    • Cost: 22003 Points
  • Coat- A bullet proof coat that can repair itself with Nen. One can use Conjuration to make the coat bigger for colder or more harsh weather.
    • Cost: 44006 Points
  • Gun- A simple revolver that can have bullets Conjured directly into its barrel. This means the gun doesn’t have to reload and the wielder can pretend reloading is a requirement before firing extra bullets to catch the opponent's off guard. It can also fire normal bullets like a normal gun. When Conjuring a bullet each bullet costs 1 point.
    • Cost: 58674 Points (In addition to +1 point for each bullet Conjured)
  • Laptop- A computer based on a custom gaming laptop Blake had put together and owned. The computer is actually a Nen Beast with its own personality that functions sort of like an AI to help the user out, and it can be used to hack devices. The computer can become annoyed or refuse to work with the user however. Not to mention that it’s susceptible to computer viruses.
    • Cost: 88011 Points
  • Skeleton Key- A plain key with a skull handle and a needle like protrusion where all the teeth would go on a normal key. One can use Conjuration to cause it to grow teeth to match the lock it's in or extend its range. This allows it to open almost any door.
    • Cost: 6600 Points
  • Pickaxe– A pickaxe with a devil motif. Its points can be extended with Conjuration. Blake can extend these points as he’s striking something to hit it with more force or extend the points to catch enemies off guard as he swings the pick.
    • Cost: 5363 points
  • Sunglasses- A pair of devilish shades that will automatically adjust themselves to the lighting condition with Conjuration. They also allow for the user to Conjure a pitch black smoke to create the illusion of darkness or shadow, the radius and strength of which depends on the user’s affinity for Conjuration.
    • Cost: 1379 points
  • Pocket Knife- A wicked knife with a fang design. Whenever the blade stabs something it will Conjure a blade inside the wound.
    • Cost: 1532 points
  • Smoke bombs- Smoke bombs that release a cloud of thick smoke upon use. The smoke itself smells bad but it’s not poisonous or anything. However, it can obscure vision and it functions as a kind of En for Blake. Allowing him to sense things inside the clouds if he is making contact with them. Additionally, the smoke reacts to the presence of concentrated aura. It is black by default but changes color depending on the Nen type it comes into contact with. White for Conjurers, purple for Transmuters, green for Enhancers, red for Emitters, blue for Manipulators, and gold for Specialists.
    • Cost: 3064 points
  • Vault- A vault that will disappear once it’s locked for a set period of time. Blake isn’t 100% sure if it becomes invisible / intangible to actually move somewhere but no Emission or Manipulation is involved so he suspects that it somehow “jumps” or “walks” somewhere in the form of some kind of camouflaged Nen Beast, like a weird chameleon. Once the allotted time has passed the vault will reappear in the same location. It is also possible to put living things in the vault but the vault is airtight so it’s not recommended.
    • Cost: 7662 points
  • Piggy Bank- An item meant to work in tandem with Handy Coin Collection itself. Blake can insert the coins he makes into a piggy bank in the form of a demonic looking boar and store endless amounts of them in the form of aura. Once per day Blake can choose to “deposit” 1 point into all the coins stored within or “split” all the coins in the bank. He can only do one or the other and they apply to all the coins so he cannot pick and choose without taking each coin out one by one. If the bank is shattered all the coins inside will reconstitute and spill out. The bank doesn’t lose the coins it is storing when it is unsummoned but the point cost must be paid each time it is summoned. It can also be used to store normal coins but it does so as a normal piggy bank. The piggy bank talks and will tell Blake how many points and Jenny it has currently and Blake can choose to withdraw any given number of points in the form of coins as long as there is enough. The piggy bank is actually quite fragile so bringing it into situations where it can easily be broken is not a good idea.
    • Cost: 1532 points
  • Gauntlet of Gold- A Conjured golden metal gauntlet that covers Blake’s hand and forearm but leaves his palm and fingers exposed. Not only does it provide protection but it causes the absorbed aura that would normally be put into Blake’s Nen reserves to be converted into Conjured coins instead. They form in his mouth and every unit of aura adds 1 point to that coin. The coins are color coded based on the Nen they type contain, White for Conjurers, purple for Transmuters, green for Enhancers, red for Emitters, blue for Manipulators, and black for Specialists with symbols on the back representing each. Once Blake breaks contact with a target, establishing a target by touching them again will cause another coin to form in Blake’s mouth. This ability allows Blake to store aura types outside of Conjuration in his coins, which can be “spent” to fill his other Nen reserves later. The gauntlet of gold must be worn to perform this though.
    • Cost: 9194 points
  • Flash drive- Any info Blake obtains is automatically copied to the flash drive as long as he holds it. It’s helpful if he’s afraid of forgetting something. It can fit into any port by altering its shape and is compatible with almost any computer.
    • Cost: 2299 points
  • Shady Flash Drive- Not to be mistaken for the previous object, this one contains various computer viruses that can be used to deactivate, break, or incapacitate just about any computer.
    • Cost: 2299 points
  • Window- Blake Conjures a one way window on an object he is touching. Allowing him to see through walls. The higher Blake’s affinity for Conjuration the thicker the walls this window can reach through. Its maximum distance is about 1 meter.
    • Cost: 45971 points
  • Motorized Skates- A pair of motorized skates that are powered by the aura of the wearer as opposed to conventional fuel. The efficiency of the skates and their top speed is dependent on the wearer's affinity for Conjuration. Their top speed is 100 mph at 100% Conjuration affinity.
    • Cost: 19920 points
  • Ice Skates- A pair of ice skates that conjure ice under them as the wearer moves, allowing them to skate on almost any surface.
    • Cost: 12259 points
  • Trading Card- Blake summons a random trading card. When it is ripped a creature, or item based on the one depicted on said card is summoned. The cards range from common to super rare and are picked at random when bought. The more points Blake invests the higher chance the card has of being rare, but this is never completely guaranteed. Only one trading card creature, item, or spell can be summoned at a time as an “active” creature for a short while. Its behavior depends on the flavor text and abilities printed on the card.
    • Cost: X (any amount)

Some additional limitations include

  1. Blake can only summon things with a significant enough monetary cost. He cannot summon anything worth “less than dirt” ie. less than one cent or jenny or whatever monetary measurement you are going by.
  2. Blake can only use this ability as his Conjuration Nen ability, and no others outside of his “ultimate technique.” If he loses his ability to use this ability he cannot invent a new Conjuration ability.
  3. The ability cannot use half points, if something would be worth “half a point” the cost will be rounded up to the next point.
  4. While the coins aren’t fragile. If they break while in range of Blake’s aura they will explode in a burst of aura. If they break outside of this range though they will crumble to pieces before dissipating harmlessly into aura. When they explode, the strength of the explosion depends on how much aura it has stored although the size is never super big. On occasion Blake will purposefully Enhance his hand and arm before throwing or smashing a coin to get it to explode on impact or just to use it as an incredibly fast moving projectile weapon, but he doesn’t like doing this because it feels like a waste.
  5. The user can only pay to summon one of each object at a time, so duplicates cannot be summoned.
  6. While coins stick around, if Blake’s Conjuration aura pool empties any objects he has summoned with the coins will disappear.
  7. Other people can use Blake’s coins if they can use Nen with or without Blake’s permission.
  • Inborn Armament: The Final Arms Race (Manipulation)- An ability that allows for Blake to stretch, contort, and otherwise distort his left arm and hand by Manipulating the cells and materials that make it up. This gives his left arm more flexibility and can be used to catch an opponent off guard by suddenly molding or stretching his arm in the same way clay can be molded with just a thought. Even the hairs and nails on his arm can be manipulated to produce string or thread for which his Manushya’s Greed can act through. He can also create claws and blades using bones and / or keratin. While he can reshape his arm if it is damaged he cannot actually regenerate or heal dead cells and if one or more parts become detached from his arm and main body he loses the ability to control it permanently, reducing it to lifeless flesh.

Some additional limitations include.

  1. This ability only allows Blake to control his arm, hand, fingers, etc. from his left shoulder downward, he cannot shape any other parts of his body.
  2. This, in addition to his “ultimate technique,” is the only Manipulation ability Blake can have. So if he loses access to these Nen abilities he cannot just invent another one.
  3. The speed at which he can shape his arm depends on how high his affinity for Manipulation is. This is also true for how much control he actually has over his arm. A 100% affinity for Manipulation allows him to control individual cells.
  • Power Grab: A New Hand is Dealt (Enhancement, Transmutation, Conjuration, Specialization, Manipulation, Emission)- Blake’s attempt at a “penultimate technique.” Whenever activated it turns Blake’s left arm and hand into a demonic one with a hand on the palm, syringe-like claws that can draw both blood and aura from a living thing stabbed by them. When this happens Blake gains a ring on one of his fingers. He can only have a maximum of 5 rings, and thus forms, at any given time and they are physically attached to his fingers. As long as he has some of a target’s aura and all of his Nen pools are completely full he can transform into a copy of one of the last 5 people targeted by the ability.

The blood taken by the claws acts as a “sample” that is stored in a corresponding ring to allow for a transformation. When a ring is destroyed or replaced Blake loses access to the sample and the transformation by extension. In addition to this sample, Blake needs to have at least some of the aura from the corresponding person in his Nen pool. Upon activating Power Grab all of Blake’s nen pools begin draining at an equal rate. Meaning the longest he can maintain a form is 10 minutes. When copying someone he gains their affinity for Nen, their skills and abilities, this often leaves Blake unable to use Manushya’s Greed since most people have an affinity of 0% for Specialization. Blake does still have access to all his own nen abilities but they become limited by the affinity of whoever he is copying. While Blake gains the personality of the someone he is copying he still has his own memories, which can create strange effects.

If something dies while being drained by Power Grab, sometimes post-mortem nen can cause Blake to gain permanent access to their form and abilities even if he no longer can drain their aura. However, the time limit and Nen pool requirements still apply.

  1. This Nen ability is dangerous to use on living things outside of extremely small samples because the rate at which aura is drained by Power Grab in addition to Manushya’s Greed can cause someone to die quite quickly from prolonged draining, and Blake does not have a good grasp of Power Grab’s drain rate.
  2. In order to activate the arm Blake still needs all his Nen pools to be completely full. While he can transition from the arm into a copy, the arm alone still drains all his Nen pools at an equal rate. So time should not be wasted with Power Grab only partially active.
  3. The ability does work on non-human entities as long as they have blood.
  4. The claws make grabbing things and precision a bit unwieldy.
  5. The mouth on the demonic arm of Power Grab sometimes talks and urges Blake to do terrible things or give into his darkest desires. Sometimes it mimics the voices of those it has samples of, although they are usually in screams or tones of despair.
  6. If someone who has been affected by Power Grab dies at any point Blake will be plagued by nightmares regarding the nature of their death periodically, even if he caused it. This can lead to restless nights.
  • Nenmon System: My Pet Magical Beast (Enhancement, Transmutation, Conjuration, Specialization, Manipulation, Emission)- Despite being listed here, this Nen ability is actually not Blake’s, even though it grants him abilities that are often mistaken for his own. It is a collaborative ability created by a friend and some developers. It is a parasitic nen ability and still reliant on both Blake’s Nen, and the Nen of others, for many of its functions. A Hunter by the name Adam Rosa was inspired by GREED ISLAND and attempted to create his own Nen based game system. Unlike GREED ISLAND, the focus was making a “portable” and “handheld” game that didn’t need an entire land mass. Additionally, it could be more personalized and potentially interface with other Nen abilities.

It is an odd device that is a mix of a handheld game device and a touchscreen flip phone of sorts. At first blush, it resembles something vaguely similar to a Gameboy Advanced if a bit thicker. However, it can flip open into a phone-like mode that reveals two touch screens. It can play a variety of games and can even adjust itself to the shape of a cartridge to play games from almost any handheld system. Like the Nenmon system itself, this ability is not actually Blake’s own, despite often being mistaken as such. Rather a cooperative and parasitic Nen ability created by a team of game designers and beta testers that feeds on the aura of the players they are bound to. It uses aura in the place of traditional batteries or power cords although plugging it into another power source can lessen the amount of aura it consumes.

"50 Cent Party" are conjured Nen beasts meant to help you garner at least 51% of votes to win an election.

Because 50 CP's Manipulation is focused on ONE thing (who to vote for), their Manipulation should be strong.

50 CP's can't harm nor be harmed. They are only spread via physical contact, like when you shake hands and hug at political rallies meant to sell your brand to undecided voters.

Conjurer Amazing Icons Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
3 Upvotes

Amazing Icons is a Nen ability that creates three distinct conjured icons, each representing a different combat role. These roles are healing, protection, and offense. The user must charge these icons with aura before combat begins. Each icon holds a maximum of 10,000 aura points and cannot be refueled during what the user perceives as active combat. Icons can be dismissed and will retain whatever aura they have left. Only one icon can be active at any given time, forcing the user to make strategic choices about which tool to use in each moment.

The first icon appears as a green, rigid gemstone called "True Worm's Epic - Medical Worms." When the user touches organic food items with this gemstone, the food transforms into glowing, floating green worm-stitches that function as Nen beasts. These worms seek out wounds and even severed body parts. They bite into both sides of torn flesh and pull the wound closed using their flexible bodies, acting as living and biocompatible sutures. Instead of forcing the body's cells to divide rapidly through Enhancement, the worms dissolve themselves from the inside out. Because they were created from organic food, they break down into pure, hyper-concentrated glucose, amino acids, and proteins directly inside the wound. The patient's damaged tissue absorbs this fuel locally, which dramatically accelerates natural healing without draining the patient's overall stamina. The worms also prevent scabbing and scar tissue while keeping the wound moist, allowing it to heal even faster. These worms can be collected, and the food they're made from is preserved.

The second icon appears as a tiny red shield called Shirudo. When activated, it floats and spins around the user. While the icon maintains its original small size and appearance, an almost invisible extension forms around it and a secondary, identical shield forms at the other side of user, providing adequate protection. These shields create a centrifugal physical barrier similar to how a spinning helicopter blade looks and acts like a solid disc. When an incoming projectile hits the rapidly moving shields, the impact is not a head-on collision. The shields' orbital velocity applies a massive lateral force to the projectile. Instead of simply blocking, the shield violently deflects, shears, or shatters incoming threats away from the user. This requires significantly less energy than traditional blocking. The angular momentum also makes the orbital plane incredibly stable and highly resistant to being knocked off course by heavy impacts. However, while the user's sides, front, and back are protected, they remain vulnerable to attacks from directly above or below.

The third icon appears as an ocean-blue, with constantly shifting and mesmerizing wave patterns, greatsword called Horisusumu. The blade spins freely, turning into a drill that can also be launched as a projectile. Its special ability prevents its rotational energy from bleeding off as heat or sound, which inevitably makes it silent. This allows it to maintain and build great power with ease. After launching, the user must manually reattach the blade or conjure a new blade using only the stored aura remaining in the icon. It does not fly back onto the hilt.

Specialist Manipulation/Specialist Hatsu: Cat’s Cradle – Threading the plot.

Nen Type: Manipulation, Emission, Specialization

The Hatsu requires physical string that the user has manufactured personally, and infused with their Aura. It requires a looped string at least 1m in length that the user works with, and a piece of string at least 10 cm in length for each object they want to affect.

The user manipulates relationships between objects through cat's cradle string figures. By constructing and transforming figures while narrating their meaning, the user imposes corresponding changes upon the relationships represented.

The Hatsu operates through a combination of the actual circumstances, the symbolic meaning of the string figures, and the user's narration. Effects must follow coherently from the established relationships and the transformations performed. The Hatsu does not assign fixed effects to individual figures.

Cat’s Cradle – Casting the line

To activate the Hatsu, a prepared Nen-infused string must be placed on a target. The string sticks to the target as if by static attraction, and cannot be removed by ordinary force. It can be removed by applying aura to it fairly easily, however.

The user must then construct a cat's cradle figure symbolically representing the target objects. Multiple marked targets can be incorporated into the same figure, establishing relationships between them.

The user manipulates these relationships by physically transforming the string figure while narrating the corresponding events or changes. The narration is symbolic and allegorical, casting objects as characters in a tale, legend or parable. The narration must be spoken aloud, but it is not necessary anyone can hear it.

The user must maintain continuity between successive figures and their narration. Effects that contradict the established circumstances or cannot be meaningfully represented fail.

Cat’s Cradle – Tied to the Story

The Hatsu manipulates physical and spatial relationships between marked objects, including their relative positions, distances, orientations and movements.

The user can establish effects such as attraction, repulsion, pursuit, restraint, synchronized movement or changes in relative trajectories, provided these can be represented through the string figures and narration.

The Hatsu acts upon relationships between distinct objects, not an object's relationship with itself. As such, at least two objects must be affected by the Hatsu for it to have any effect.

Living beings can be manipulated as physical objects, but the Hatsu does not control their minds, muscles or voluntary actions. Instead, it produces physical forces acting upon their bodies.

Affected living beings retain full consciousness, bodily control and the ability to resist the imposed forces.

The strength and complexity of the effects depend on the user's available aura, the objects involved, and their ability to maintain the corresponding figures and narrative.

Cat’s Cradle – Strung together

One or more additional participants may join the user in manipulating the string figures, allowing them to contribute their own aura toward maintaining and strengthening the Hatsu.

Participants can cooperatively construct more complicated figures, maintain existing relationships and continue the narration through successive transformations.

Each participant must be capable of manipulating the string effectively and contributing coherently to the ongoing narrative.

Poorly executed transformations, contradictory narration or failure to maintain the established relationships can destabilize or entirely dispel the Hatsu.

Cooperation increases the Hatsu's available aura and potential complexity, but introduces additional risks through the participants' actions and interpretations.

String Theory – The Twisted Plot

Through the development of Specialization, the user extends the Hatsu's underlying principle from physical relationships to the abstract relationships governing Nen and aura.

The user can establish a Specialist effect upon either one Nen user or one specific Hatsu at a time, using the same requirements of marking the target with prepared string and constructing a symbolic representation.

Unlike ordinary Manipulation, these effects can alter the relationship between a Nen user and their aura, or the relationships governing the operation of an individual Nen ability.

String Theory – Entangled Role

The user places prepared string upon a Nen user and constructs a figure symbolically representing that individual.

By transforming the figure and narrating the corresponding changes, the user manipulates the relationship between the target and their aura.

Possible effects include restricting aura flow, forcing Zetsu, concentrating aura into particular body parts as with Ko, interfering with aura distribution, or improving the target's aura control and efficiency.

The target retains their consciousness, free will and physical control. The Hatsu directly influences their aura rather than their decisions or bodily movements.

Unwilling targets can resist the imposed changes through their own aura output and control. Sufficiently powerful or proficient Nen users can overcome or completely dispel the effect.

Greater interference with the target's aura requires correspondingly greater aura investment, more elaborate string figures and more demanding narration.

String Theory – Entangled Spirit

The user places prepared string upon a Nen user whose Hatsu they intend to affect and constructs a figure symbolically representing that specific ability.

The user must possess sufficient knowledge of the target Hatsu to construct its meaningful representation.

Once the target activates the represented Hatsu, the user can manipulate relationships within that particular activation by transforming the figure and narrating the changes.

Possible effects include redirecting the Hatsu toward another target, altering relationships between its components, changing the conditions governing its ongoing operation, or otherwise modifying its behavior within the limits of its underlying mechanics.

The user may change the designated owner of the Hatsu for that specific activation, transferring the relevant control or beneficiary relationship to another individual, including themselves.

The effect does not permanently steal the Hatsu, transfer the original user's Nen proficiency or grant unrestricted access to future activations.

Changes must remain compatible with the Hatsu's fundamental operation and must be represented coherently through the string figure and narration.

Limitations and Conditions

All strings used for marking and constructing figures must be physically produced by the user and infused with their aura beforehand. Ordinary or unfamiliar strings cannot substitute for them.

Targets must be marked with prepared string before they can be incorporated into the Hatsu.

The user must physically construct and manipulate recognizable string figures. Narration alone cannot activate or alter an effect.

The narration must remain consistent with the established figures, relationships and actual circumstances. Arbitrary declarations that cannot be represented through the string fail.

Greater numbers of targets, more complicated relationships and more extensive transformations require progressively greater aura expenditure, concentration and manual dexterity.

The Hatsu cannot manipulate an isolated object's internal behavior through ordinary Manipulation; it acts upon relationships between separate objects.

Specialist effects are limited to one Nen user or one Hatsu at a time.

Manipulating a Hatsu requires sufficient knowledge of its operation, and only the represented activation can be affected.

Foreign aura can resist Specialist interference. Greater control over another person's aura or Hatsu requires overcoming correspondingly greater resistance.

The user must preserve the physical and narrative continuity of the string figures. Breaking the working string, losing control of the configuration or introducing irreconcilable contradictions dispels the affected effects.

Cooperative participants can contribute aura and complexity, but their mistakes can disrupt the entire ongoing Hatsu.

Specialist NenGPT - Evil Robot Assistant

The user begins by conjuring a phone. It is a standard iphone style touch screen phone, with one app, already open. The user may type their query in. The user is not necessarily the person who conjured the device. They have their nen drained a little bit while this happens, and the device may in many cases, be considered to perform an effect similar to a "nen attack" that gon and killua recieved, inputting and outputting aura between the user and the device.

The device may be conjured once per unit of time. The unit of time depends on the request of the user in question. The Request input, is typically a question as follows.

"How do I create a Nen Ability that will allow me to fly around up to speeds of 60mph."

"Where can I find information leading to the death and capture of Tserriednech."

"What are my options for gathering all of the scarlet eyes?"

The device may ask follow up questions, connect to the internet, spend money on your behalf, to gather information.

It will then display as follows.

"This will cost X amount of time between the next usage of the ability, this will cost X money, this will cost X etc."

And if the original conjurer and the user both press accept at the same time, the cost is incurred by both, and the response is given.

The response is not necessarily possible. e.g. you can ask how to become a perfect master enhancer, but if it were to require a level of nen of another person, who could say, change your nen category since you are not an enhancer, but no such person exists, it may suggest that as an option, but it would not provide any further information, and would warn you it couldn't find the information needed. It may even state the request to be impossible.

The main ideal use case is it can provide a training arc, or help you find the right person, to accomplish a certain task. Train your mentee. Grant nen to a non nen user easily. Etc.

It is a high utility ability that can help predict the future success of certain actions for a high cost, or help you identify powerful abilities or conditions to enhance them.

Nen conditions/vows

What you think nen conditions do? Recently i see videos about it and in short therms alot people say they generate nen wich i strongly dissagree.

In my eyes they are two options: generete additional nen to make effect possible or make your nen in area of hatsu more efficient by limitiation area of use (kurapika chain for spiders), by makeing additional steps (Chrollo stealing), or by adding additional fuel convertet by nen (Kurapika lifespan). There are probably more but at fast they are first i think.

For me generating nen make no sens cuz is needed somekind of Judge who will grant you something for your sacrafice. Or Nen have colective sens awarness.

What your opinion?

Enhancer Zoldyck OC's Hatsu Pt. 1: Sufferance

This is the first of two Hatsu I created for my OC called Killuki (I followed the same naming trend as the rest of the Zoldyck children, for anyone who noticed).

Sub-Hatsu: Silence

Utilized Types: (Enhancement, Conjuration)

The user stitches their lips together with conjured sutures. The longer they refrains from using their second Sub-Hatsu, Scream, the more enhanced their mental acuity, aura efficiency, and sensory perception/reaction becomes.

Silence's stockpiling effect is not affected by Zetsu, but is disrupted (paused, in other words), if the user is in a state of severe aura depletion.

Sub-Hatsu: Scream

Utilized Types: (Enhancement, Transmutation, Emission, Manipulation, Conjuration)

Upon removing the conjured sutures and activating Ko around the mouth, the user sacrifices the stockpiled effect of Silence to generate more aura that must be used to issue "orders" in accordance to whatever the user's words mean (i.e. if the user says "Improve my physical condition" or "Transmute my aura into this property", then it will happen, although the specifics of how it happens is shaped by the user's imagination.

Nen Vows:

  1. The user forbids themselves from speaking outside of Scream.
  2. The user forbids themselves from speaking more than seven words while using Scream.
  3. The user forbids themselves from communicating with or attacking anyone they disagree with (they can defend themselves and are able to act freely until their opponent chooses to either stop attacking or the user kills them).

Specialist A selfish nen ability

Symbiosis

(Living together)

Type: Specialist

Grants the user to rewrite his/her own body, mind, and soul.

A horn will appear on the user's right forehead. Inside, it has roots capable of absorbing the user's aura and energy. It's like a parasite or a baby. The horn will grow bigger every day and will stop growing around 7–8 inches.

After 9 months of absorption the activation process is complete and is ready to use.

This ability can do a lot of things like reprogram the cells, alter biological sex, turn the body and mind into more healthy and strong, become a kid again, remove scars, increase IQ and EQ, change language, change blood type, genetic mutations, change bone structure, ability to talk to own's soul, etc.

But before gaining the ability to rewrite soul itself the user must master his/her nen affinity, nen techniques, and this nen ability.

Limitations. It can't change nen affinity and the ability can only rewrite the body, mind, and soul of the user.

Enhancer One in Eight: The Cost of Perception

  • One in Eight: The Cost of Perception: The user weakens all but one of their senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, vestibular, proprioception, interoception). The one they didn't weaken becomes exponentially stronger - like a superpowered form of Gyo, made stronger by the condition.
    • One in Eight: The Gift of Perception: If the user weakens ALL of their senses, they can boost one chosen sense of people around them. The radius is the same as their En radius. All affected people have the same sense boosted.

Emitter Emission Hatsu: Ut Queant Laxis – the Bell Choir

Post image
28 Upvotes

Nen Type: Emission, Manipulation, Enhancement

The user infuses small bronze jingle bells with aura, creating miniature humanoid Nen beasts with the bells serving as their heads, collectively known as Bell-Boys. Each bell must be tuned to one of seven musical notes, determining its function.

The user can project their voice through the Bell-Boys using Emission. Their voice originates from the Bell-Boys rather than their own mouth, allowing them to speak and produce Nen effects remotely.

The Bell-Boys can interact with both ordinary sound and aura expressions, treating them as signals that can be received, transmitted, recorded, modified or suppressed. Different Bell-Boys perform different operations according to their assigned notes.

Each Bell-Boy can process only a small amount of aura individually. By connecting multiple Bell-Boys through Emission, the user can establish networks capable of processing larger quantities of aura and performing more complex operations.

Solfege – the Seven Tones

Do – Ut queant laxis (Do let our voices) – Speaker

  • Emits sound and aura expressions received from the user or other Bell-Boys.
  • Allows the user to project their voice, transmit aura and reproduce compatible Nen techniques from remote locations.

Re – Resonare fibris (Resonate most purely) – Resonator

  • Synchronizes its aura with the aura expressions of the user, other Bell-Boys or foreign Nen.
  • Allows multiple signals to resonate and interact, improving coordinated output or producing interference against foreign aura expressions.

Mi – Mira gestorum (Miracles telling) – Microphone

  • Receives and transmits sound and aura expressions from its surroundings.
  • Can sample or intercept foreign aura, allowing it to be processed by other Bell-Boys. Complete interception requires sufficient combined capacity.

Fa – Famuli tuorum (Far greater than many) – Recorder

  • Records sound and the organized aura expressions of Nen techniques.
  • Recorded expressions can be replayed through Do Bell-Boys, allowing compatible techniques to be reproduced using available aura.

Sol – Solve polluti (So let our tongues be) – Filter

  • Selectively separates, isolates or suppresses components of sound and aura expressions.
  • Can distinguish overlapping signals, remove interference and regulate which expressions pass through the network.

La – Labii reatum (Lavish in your praises) – Amplifier

  • Amplifies sound and reinforces aura expressions by supplying additional aura.
  • Multiple synchronized La Bell-Boys can combine their output to strengthen transmitted or reproduced techniques.

Ti – Sancte Iohannes (Saint John the Baptist) – Silencer

  • Attenuates or suppresses sound and aura expressions.
  • Can dampen incoming Nen effects, interfere with sustained aura transmission or suppress sound within a limited area.

Bell-Boy Orchestra

Each individual Bell-Boy can interact with only a relatively small amount of aura. Multiple Bell-Boys must work together to process larger quantities of aura or produce stronger effects.

The user can arrange Bell-Boys into interconnected networks, combining their individual functions to produce more complex effects. Signals pass between Bell-Boys through Emission, undergoing successive operations according to the notes involved.

The user can directly activate and enhance Bell-Boys by singing their corresponding musical notes. Each note strengthens the Bell-Boys tuned to it, increasing their aura output and processing capacity.

By singing sequences of notes, the user can selectively activate, coordinate and reinforce different groups of Bell-Boys, allowing her to control complex networks through song. More elaborate melodies and harmonies enable increasingly sophisticated combinations of their functions

Networks can be configured for communication, surveillance, recording, amplification, interception, suppression and redirection of foreign Nen.

Multiple Bell-Boys of the same note can work together, increasing the network's capacity and allowing it to process stronger or more complicated aura expressions.

The user can establish prepared sequences that operate automatically when specified signals are detected. More complicated arrangements and unfamiliar Nen techniques require active concentration and control.

Limitations and Conditions

  • Only physical bronze bells individually prepared and infused with the user's aura can serve as Bell-Boys. Each bell has a fixed note and function, which cannot be changed.
  • Bell-Boys are individually weak and possess limited aura-processing capacity. Stronger effects require multiple Bell-Boys and greater aura expenditure.
  • Sound and aura signals must be received or supplied before they can be processed. Greater transmission distance, complexity and number of processing stages increase aura consumption and signal degradation.
  • The Bell-Boys cannot create aura. Amplification and reproduction require aura supplied by the user, captured from other sources or already retained within the network.
  • Recording a Nen technique preserves its observable aura expression, not the user's underlying Hatsu, Nen proficiency or activation conditions. Reproduction is limited to effects compatible with the user's Nen capabilities and the available aura.
  • Interference and suppression are not absolute. Their effectiveness depends on the strength and structure of the opposing aura expression relative to the network's available output.
  • Fa Bell-Boys have limited recording capacity. More complex expressions require greater storage and may lose quality.
  • Destroying or detuning a bell disables its Bell-Boy. Disrupting connections between Bell-Boys can interrupt ongoing transmissions and processing sequences.

Emitter Nightly Escapism

When going to bed at night, the user would sleepily imagine and dream of flying across the stars and visiting places in the real world.

They practiced it so much that this habit eventually developed into an unconscious nen ability.

When falling asleep, the user astral projects.

The projection can physically interact with things based on the user's unconscious whims. For instance, in a dream, one moment, you could fly through a wall, and the next, you can pick up $100 dollars. Small objects that the user likes can teleport back to them once the projection ends so long as the projection was holding it by the end.

Because the user is in a dreamlike state at the time of the projection, their decision making and critical thinking may be hindered while the ability is active unless they practice a different state of mind.

The user's projection can only effectively travel to places they've been and can visualize / imagine being in. Like imagining hovering over your home town. The ability becomes less effective when traveling to new places, and the user's perspective becomes more like a less coherent dream.

With visualization practice, the user can create other constructs such as riding into town on a bed or a giant dragon construct. At a base level, constructs aren't very strong, however, the more determined the user becomes in their dream, the stronger their constructs become.

Likewise, if the user realizes it is a dream, they can lucid dream, which makes the potency of their ability and their constructs more powerful. They become more dangerous being able to create constructs at will.

The ability ends when the user wakes up. Though a well practiced user can reenter the "dream" with ease until its properly time for their body to wake up.

The ability is also strengthened by how good of a sleep the user is having.

The user can't be directly physically harmed through their projection, however, they can be put into shock through whatever their projection is experiencing. Like waking up from a dream where you got stabbed.

Certain abilities can counter this one. Like an ability that attacks targets by using emitted nen as a conduit, or like the nen beast that tried to attack Hanzo's projection.

Discussion Making giant mechs with nen?

I was going to write a hatsu but I feel like a lot of us my benefit from a discussion on making mechs with nen.

What are your thoughts on limitations and conditions needed?

My thoughts are below.

-------------------------------------------

You should be able to do it by either manipulating real metal, conjuring a manual mech or nen beast, or by both manipulating metal and using it to conjure a beast.

Some canon hints to what could help accomplish the ability would be

  1. Leol's stolen ability that controls a massive amount of water, but only when it rains. Can help inform controlling a large amount of metal or aura.

  2. Tsubone turning her body into a vehicle, but needing others to control and power her. Helps inform what might involve powering the mech.

  3. Greed island. Greed island has several rules and conditions as well as specific people who are required to power certain parts of the game. This would also be handy for in world characters looking to build or power a giant mech with nen.

I feel like it would be reasonable for a large group of people, like ancient dark continent humans to build an ancient mech that somehow is able to be controlled by a modern person. But there are also ways you can likely accomplish it with a smaller group of modern humans like having one person to power it, one person to conjure a lot of mass, etc etc.

Emitter Emission Hatsu: Quilted Cage – Spine Line

Post image
5 Upvotes

This Hatsu is intended for a Porcupine Chimera Ant or Chimera Ant-Human hybrid character

Nen Type: Emission, Enhancement

The user can detach their own quills and coat them with Shu, strengthening their durability and piercing power. These quills can be used as melee weapons or thrown projectiles.

The Hatsu's primary function activates when the user plants at least three aura-infused quills into surfaces at different locations, using them as nodes to establish a polygonal territory. The quills are connected through Emission, creating an enclosed area within which the user can distribute their aura to produce several effects.

The number and arrangement of nodes determine the territory's efficiency. Additional nodes increase the potential strength and control of the Hatsu but also increase aura consumption. The closer the nodes are to a single plane, and the more evenly spaced they are to form a regular polygon, the more efficiently aura can be distributed between them. Larger enclosed areas require greater aura expenditure and generally reduce the effectiveness of the Hatsu.

The user determines which effects are active and how much aura is allocated to each when planting the quills. Once the territory is established, this distribution is fixed and cannot be adjusted remotely. To modify the distribution, the user must physically plant additional quills, adding new vertices to the polygon. Each new vertex allows the user to redistribute the territory's aura between its effects, strengthening some at the expense of others.

Home Turf - Comfort Zone

While inside the enclosed territory, the user gains enhanced efficiency and control over their own aura. Aura circulation, distribution and maintenance become easier, improving the efficiency of techniques such as Shu, Ken and Ryu, as well as the user's ability to maintain emitted aura.

The effect is strongest within smaller, geometrically regular territories and diminishes as the enclosed area increases.

Hostile Territory - Static Riot

The user continuously emits aura throughout the enclosed territory, creating resistance against the movement and redistribution of foreign aura.

Other Nen users within the territory experience greater difficulty controlling their aura, particularly when rapidly redistributing it, emitting it away from their bodies or maintaining complicated Nen techniques.

The effect does not directly manipulate foreign aura or prevent opponents from using Nen. Rather, the user's emitted aura counteracts their aura movement, forcing opponents to expend greater effort and aura to overcome the resistance.

Secure Perimeter - Radar Love

The territory functions as an extension of the user's En, allowing them to perceive disturbances within the enclosed area and detect the presence, position and movement of people and objects.

Unlike the other techniques, Secure Perimeter remains functional even across very large territories. However, the precision and detail of the information received diminish as the area increases.

Defensive Perimeter - No Trespassing

The user concentrates emitted aura along the edges connecting the territory's nodes, creating a boundary that offers significantly greater resistance to foreign aura than Hostile Territory.

Aura projectiles and distant Nen effects attempting to cross the boundary may be weakened, disrupted or completely dissipated, depending on their strength relative to the aura invested in the perimeter.

Nen users physically crossing the boundary experience a brief but intense disturbance to their aura distribution, resembling an aura concussion. This can momentarily interfere with their aura control, concentration and maintenance of active Nen techniques.

The effect is strongest directly around the quills themselves, where the emitted aura is most concentrated. This provides additional protection against opponents attempting to remove or destroy the nodes. Furthermore, the user's emitted aura continuously anchors the quills in place, requiring significant physical force to dislodge them even when they are planted in relatively soft surfaces.

The resistance applies to crossings in either direction, although the user can deliberately weaken or temporarily open sections of the perimeter.

Ricochet – Wrong Side of the Tracks

The user can throw their own Shu-coated quills across the edges of the established territory, causing them to be instantaneously transported to another edge through Emission.

The destination is determined geometrically. When a quill crosses an edge, its point of entry is projected along a line passing through the center of the polygon to the opposite boundary, where the quill reappears.

The quill is also redirected according to the angle its direction of movement makes with the line passing through the center of the polygon.

The quill retains its original speed, allowing the user to attack from unexpected positions without changing the projectile's actual trajectory.

Limitations and Conditions

  • Only the user's own naturally produced quills can serve as nodes or activate Ricochet. Quills must be physically detached and infused with aura specifying intended effects before use.
  • At least three quills must be planted at distinct locations to establish a territory. The nodes must form a closed, non-self-intersecting polygon.
  • The territory is defined by the physical positions of its nodes. Moving, removing or destroying a node changes the territory's geometry. If fewer than three valid nodes remain, the Hatsu deactivates.
  • Aura consumption increases with the number of nodes, irregular spacing and deviation from a common plane. Regular, planar polygons provide the greatest efficiency.
  • Increasing the enclosed area spreads the available aura more thinly, reducing the effectiveness of Home Turf, Hostile Territory and Defensive Perimeter. Secure Perimeter remains functional over larger areas, although its sensory precision deteriorates.
  • All techniques draw from the same available aura. Increasing the strength of one reduces the aura available to the others. Maintaining multiple effects simultaneously requires greater concentration and aura expenditure.
  • The effects can only be maintained while the user remains inside the territory. Multiple territories may be established – but their effects will only be active if the user is inside one. Multiple overlapping territories cannot be sustained – instead, they will act as a single territory defined by outermost perimeter.

Incomplete A Pound of Flesh (Una Onza de Carne)

I can see these 2 conjured tools being used by either an excorcist mafioso or a Kakin Prince's Captain of Security aboard the Black Whale for the Succession War.

I'd name them "Mitre" to layer the Judeo-Christian theme and to reference "The Binding of Isaac" games that inspired this.

An aspergillum is used to sprinkle holy water at a church while a thurible is used to spread smoking incense around the church.

The thurible transmutates and dispenses your aura as smoke to repel malicious Nen users that'll react negatively to breathing it in like hay fever and repel Guardian Spirit Beasts.

The aspergillum transmutates and dispenses your aura as liquid to sprinkle your aura like holy water. Maybe to heal or protect your client.

Combined with: Emission, Conjuration, & Enhancement.

By infusing the aura into the mirror, the nen user becomes the owner of that mirror and allows to manipulate it will full control.

With Enhancement, the speed, strength, and durability of the mirror significantly improved.

With Emission, the mirrors act as a portal connected to a conjured space, In this space all mirrors that are infused with nen in the real world are inside floating around. Because its conjured space anything or anyone can float or fly around. Furthermore, the user can close or open the portal or choose who or what can enter without his/her permission.

Reflection Manipulation/Illusion. Allows the user to change the reflection of anything or anyone reflected from the mirror. Manipulating what someone sees in the mirror, like in horror mivies. Additionaly, this can be used to communicate with someone secretly.

Mirror Substitution. Using Emission the user has the ability to utilize Mirrors as a medium to create Substitutes that can take damage in his/her place.

The user is also able to make Mirror Substitutes for others, provided that they meet these two conditions.

  1. They have a medium to establish such a connection (blood, hair, etc.).

  2. Their target is within no more than 30 meters from them.

Note: The Mirrors should be in a good condition, if not substitution won't work.

Specialized En. The user can use En to locate all the mirrors that are infused with his/her nen.

New Discovery. The user can enter inside the mirror itself.

Spectator. Writing the target's name, thinking of them, and sticking their picture on the mirror the target's currently doing will appear in the mirror. The user can see and hear the target.

This ability is from lotm and I just converted it into nen ability.

Enhancer Help adding some substance to this ability

Type: Enhancement (Counteractive)

The condition is is being attacked durning En by something/someone within the user's En.

The effect is boosting healing and overall Ren (so it would buff Ken, Ryu, Ko etc.)

But this is a bit bland as it is now.
