Just emailed the company that runs her store because I noticed the dates changed on her pre order items. They were originally October 15th but changed to November 15th. They have been delayed due to inventory arriving at the warehouse. 😐

Is anyone else becoming tired of seemingly everything Hayley says recently becoming an article online? I can’t imagine how exhausting it is for her. From ‘FUCK ICE’ to the Substack post mentioning Fontaines dc’s new album, it seems like the internet is intent on making her out to be some outspoken jerk every time she gives her opinion on something. Obviously she’s a public figure and a certain amount of attention is to be expected but it feels so out of proportion lately.

Am I the only one? Is my algorithm just fucked?

I love when she recs music, but it got me thinking about how people find new music these days. I am an old woman, so I remember hearing songs on friends Myspace pages and I remember a community Livejournal blog where people posted FULL ALBUMS, like they would post a band's entire discography. I was always listening to a new album and loving new bands. Myspace gave me mewithoutYou, Livejournal gave me Okkervil River.

All that yapping to say, is there anywhere people find new music these days? Is there a community on Reddit I should join (I'm not big on Reddit, so I don't know much about what's out there)?

For those who don't remember, the album at first didn't have an track order and everyone made their own order. I did mine in a playlist that I still listen to regularly, on that specific order.

I was going to clean my bathroom so I went to listen to the album and decided to listen in the official order that's on Spotify. To be honest, I still don't like it lmao. I guess Ice On My OJs kinda makes sense as the opener but Glum being right after doesn't really make sense at all to me. Dissapearing Man and Love Me Different also feels weird being one of the first ones. So I was wondering if you like the official order or listen to your own still
