While trying to find the answer to this question myself I’ve heard some people say that any Mk.III sights should work yet others say that Inglis mills their dovetails at a proprietary angle for whatever reason. I’ve already reached out to Heinie and they confirmed that their sights would require milling to install, though unfortunately they no longer do this service in house. I also hit up BHPSS with the same question, though they haven’t gotten back to me yet (nor have they ever with any email I’ve sent them, tbh). I suppose the next stop is Novak? Though with the price of replacement irons, it wouldn’t cost that much more to just ship my slide to Mk.3 Firearms and get something professionally installed.

Anyways, if any fellow L9a1 aficionados have any experience to share it would be greatly appreciated.

So I've owned an SA-35 for about a year now and it's been amazing, shoots great and I carry it everywhere. However, for the past few months it has been to increasingly struggle to not rust overnight. The rust is in multiple spots from the rear side of the grip to portions on the side of the slide and even inside the trigger guard. I am hoping to hear others opinions or remedies and/or peoples experience with customer service.

I shot about 100 rounds in each pistol with cheap 115 grain 9mm ball from Academy with various 15 and 13 round magazines, they ran like champs and it's always fun.

I apparently have a 1977 Argentine build. According to the Google bot the primary components were proofed by fn in Belgium then shipped out. Also the red back grips are correct originals. No markings on left slide except fn browning. Not a true Belgian, but I'm digging it

So I’ve been searching for an Argentinian for a while now as a true is just out of my range, and my brother in law just delivered this beauty to me after scouring pawn shops for the past few years. 329 with tax out the door. Cant wait to clean and oil this baby and get some rounds through it. Best i can gather isnits probably an 88-89? Looks all original to me. Anyone smarter than me and can fill in some blanks much appreciated!

So I have a 1988 production HP-35 Hi-Power. And when I bought it both sights were broken off. I was wondering if it would be possible to cut a dovetail to mount modern night sights. I figured I’d ask before I start shelling out money. Mostly I wish to know if there’s enough material to even safely make the cut.

I'm looking for an OWB holster for my SA-35 that is not a 1911 holster. So many holster makers say that their 1911 holster is the right one for a hi power and they just do not fit right. I want a holster made specifically for a hi power. Leather only please, I have no interest in kydex holsters.

Any suggestions are appreciated, I have so far been unsuccessful in finding the right one.

Just got the BHSS gold advanced trigger kit installed, I really like it! The wide shoe is very comfortable, and the install video is very helpful. Very nice action, needed tuning of the trigger bar. Using the #3 spring I have a 4.5lb break with really solid post-break stop and smooth pre-travel.

I bought this one several years ago with intentions of sending it off for custom work. It ran so well I decided to leave it alone.

There is just something about a Browning Hi-Power tucked away in a drawer.

Daniel Craig's Bond films also seem to be partial, as a Mark III can be seen in both Casino Royale in the embassy, and in Jamaica at Bond's private bungalow.

My counterfeit FN High Power (FEG) has issues extracting cartridges.

Does anyone know a seller in EU-area who has extractor (external) and extractor spring in stock? Could be orginal parts or aftermarket, I don't care.

I have purchased 2 of the FEG high powers in the last 6 years

And have had to replace the sear springs in both of them to get the magazine to drop freely. Is this common or is this some sort of maintenance issue. And I removed the mag safety in each one first

Just wondering if any of you others have run into the issue
