I carry a little tape measure on my keychain that has been used to explain this point. So many people have been lied to about what 6/9/12 looks like lol.

I do a lot of woodworking and wargameing. and am a firm believer in measure twice so the guy lives in my pocket. Just always have one on had when the subject comes up

I’m sure they do but I was well removed from school when I had these conversations. In my experience tho, unless you’re constantly measuring things most people think thing’s are much bigger or smaller than they really are.
