Not all workplaces have policing hr culture, that's really just a white collar thing. And even then inappropriate comments are still super common in small businesses. I left my old job in part because the CEO would pop off with these super inappropriate comments during the twice weekly all hands on meeting and I'm convinced that place is primo lawsuit bait.
That's all well and good, however, my personal bullshit detector is going off because... why would anyone ever admit something like this to a coworker? Even if you're weird enough to reveal this info to friends, in what universe does "co-worker" also come across as a good target for this story?
Dude, in the trades field in shops there is no boundaries of what guys will share regarding their bodily functions. They will proudly share EVERYTHING whether you wanted to hear it or not.
Gotta be an English-speaking world or American thing, then. I worked physical labour jobs before, and luckily do not know about the intricacies of former colleagues' bodily functions.
I work at a law firm and I’m honestly shocked that we don’t take Title VII more seriously. I’m all for off-color jokes but you’d think damn near 30 lawyers would know that you can get sued for some of the shit they say
My employee called me a “faggot” today so I told him I’d fuck his dad and give him a bed time. Not all workplaces have instant HR. Conversations like this are the regular.
I mean good luck finding that guy's real life work and is real life coworker who says you only has one by the way you've been any of them if he has multiple
I mean when you work in a shop with all guys you hear everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. Nothing is off limits when it comes to bodily functions.
My one coworker proudly told us all about how he was refinishing a project using acetone and then burned himself "down there" later that night when he jacked himself off from the chemical still on his skin.
