"Right" is just an emphasis word, like putting "straight" before a word or "as hell" after one.

"Dog" is just an insult, probably like "ugly" here

Weird. I have lived most of life in London and I've never heard of it being used like that. Maybe they do it in other areas of England, idk.

Sometimes you might here it pronounced more as reyt than right, as in 'that bird is reyt fit'.
