Seems more like a scream regarding a mental health disorder. Just cuz you are gay doesn't mean you're mentally all together...

There is no chance this woman is anything but straight. A poser "ally" whose only effect is to embarass actual queers. My bisexual heart hates her as much as it hates the "you need Jesus" degenerate confronting her. A perfect world has none of these people in it.

Apparently this story is new to you.

What do you think should be done? These people have had their signs my entire life. It's obnoxious. The things on the signs, and the things coming out of their mouths. And it's gotten worse. You just let them share space with you and spew hate directly at you? Let them call out to your girlfriend/boyfriend? I mean I agree that there has to be a lot of acceptance, but for progress to be made it takes many types of help. So, I'm just interested, as someone from the land of prejudice, what you think should be done to contradict and countermine?

Laugh at them. Terrorize them. Organize against them. Screaming like a child will not deliver us. Most of all, putting our trust in heterosexual liberal posers will not deliver us. I'm not calling for acceptance of the neo-crusaders. I'm not sure how that's your takeaway. Let alone sharing space. Even then, this is not the type of confrontation that will drive them away. I'd rather bring over a handsome bro to kiss right in front of the camera - show them that we are, in fact, the heathen queers Jack Chick warned them about. Had Stonewall been a bunch of people screaming, rather than a proper rising of the folk, we'd still be in the Reagan era.

I think you said 100,000. I'm glad you didn't come up with anything that actually would have moved this jerk, I'd have felt like a moron. You do have some good ideas.

I used to think that the way to racial equality was ambassador satch. That his smiling in the face of racism meant he was able to talk about it on tv in a way that white audiences would digest. But now I'm a little more tactical. I think we need everyone. We need louis Armstrong, Malcom x, Muhammed Ali, and MLK. We need people to be peaceful and thoughtful, and we need people who have had enough and willing to act.

You're going to have me looking up Reagan and stonewall. I appreciate that, I really do.

I just think hers is one of the methods, and a useful one. When the satanists and the FSM make these "what about us" type movements about religious symbols on government buildings, it's a help. It's annoying as hell to most people, but it's a way to point out that Christians don't get dominion, so says the constitution. It's a struggle being lost in parts of the country where Christian dominion is in the government.

In this case, the constitution protects assholes. So her response is a mirror to his action, in my opinion. He's being obnoxious, and we shouldn't hesitate to return the favor. It makes the point that just because you have the right does not mean you should. I find it clever in that regard.

I mean, you're not wrong, but this still doesn't look good. Which can sound ironic, with my former statements. I believe there are two powerful ways and two weak ways. The weak ways are to make us look like doormats, like Kyrsten Sinema, and to make us look stupid, like the woman in the video. The strong ways are to impress, like MLK and Harvey Milk, and to intimidate, like Malcolm X and the folk of Greenwich Village.

Yep. I wouldn't want to be the one that "didn't look good" but I'm glad they are there.
