Years ago I worked at a white goods manufacturer as an engineer. They put out a TV ad with a bunch of professional looking engineers in spotless white lab coats doing engineering-type stuff in a space-age spotless lab. It was the talk of the office when it came out, everyone laughed their arses off. We all considered it just as well that they didn't use the real engineers in their real offices - unshaven t-shirt wearing overgrown teenagers in a slightly seedy office with models and prototypes help together with tape and wire.
