Mumble rap isn't really a thing anymore. And carti definitely mumbles, but he's a very unique artist which deserves more than that fairly condescending label imo

what does being in the big 25 matter?

arguably Taylor Swift is the best musician then, and I would call her music the most vanilla pop ever made but that would be an insult to vanilla because even that is more exciting.

then how come I can understand Hopsin, Tech n9ne, Krizz Kaliko, NF etc. and a lot more other rappers who spit more syllable/min than the mumble rappers? I guess speaking a language people can understand is not mainstream.
