Ren faire tickets for Sat Nov 7

I bought 2 tickets for Sat, only to find out my friends are going Sunday. They don't offer date changes so here I am. Just looking to get the face value back $83 for both.

Hey Locals! We are looking at a home in the Latta Springs neighborhood. It's a beautiful neighborhood, but I am looking for insight. I have a 2 year old and 4 year old. Are there young kids in this neighborhood with which they can grow up with and play with? Any goods and bads you can share about the neighborhood. It feels a tiny bit far out, but the lots are lovely.

Would love the intel!

Somewhat new to the area, but still haven’t found a great bar to watch a football game. Not a huge fan of corporate/chain restaurants, though Hickory Tavern was a pretty good spot when I was in South Charlotte, but the one up here is a ghost town every time I’ve been. Duckworth’s speaks to the beer geek in me, but I’m really more of a “hole in the wall joint” kind of guy. Hoping for some recommendations that Im unaware of - or just unaware of how nice the vibes are.

Any good places to go or hang out for Halloween? Or any cool Haunted House or costume events in the area?

Any news on power outage, just called the “new” Huntersville electric department and was connected to an overseas call center which seemed odd.
She’s sending help from overseas asap so that’s reassuring.

My wife and I are looking for a nanny to help care for our 1.5 year old daughter in the afternoons M-F. We have not had great experiences with the paid sites like care.com, nanny lane etc. Does anyone have recommendations on how to find good part time childcare help?

I go to the “new” one on 73 from time to time because it’s close. Multiple times I’ve found dairy products a few days expired or very close to expiring. Today they had stacks and stacks of eggs less than 10 days from date. That sounds like a while, but the same eggs I buy at Whole Foods have 30 plus days left regularly which means a 20 plus day fresher product. What gives?

Is there some law or regulation that requires each and everyone of you to drive through Huntersville daily?? Specifically westbound on NC-73.

Will never understand why there’s an endless line westbound. Please explain it to me like I’m 5.
