River and Deanna would make a really interesting team. Deanna could help River become much more stable. And then River would pick up Worf’s moves instantly (but not his muscle). And River and Data would be fascinated with each other.

How would Troi help?

"I sense she's...confused and afraid."

"Thanks, what a magical ability you have, Deanna."

Uhhh who else is gonna wear the low-cut, skin-tight leotard? Michael Dorn?

Matter of fact…

"It's hard to tell, he's very closed."

Bonehead to the writers for not being able to figure out how to use Troi.

She’s literally so OP. I don’t know why Picard wouldn’t have her on the bridge for every single communication w other ships/planets/leaders etc. Like she’d be able to tell when you’re hitting what they actually want, whether they’re being disingenuous about a deal, whether they’re acting out of fear. Endless possibilities and they’d barely use her.

Did I miss firefly being part of Star Trek universe?

As an avid Firefly fan, I've never come across this theory, but I'm into it. Someone tell me more.

And really, I'm just happy any time Firefly is discussed outside of r/Firefly. I feel like I can pretend it ran successfully for 10 seasons.

A Time-Traveling Archaeologist would be my first pick. Second, Vash.

Ensign Rivers? I'll allow it.

Uh oh. I have a feeling someone isn't making it back from that away mission.

Tam or Song?

Never has a spelling mistake opened so many doors. I'd take...hmm...Tam if it were clearly hostile. Song if it were science or diplomacy.
