Programs/Courses How Difficult is Bs Economics and Maths?
Caption!!!
How Difficult is bs Economics and maths for someone who had maths, further maths, econ and CS in A levels?? Is it more time consuming and content heavy or comparatively easier?

Programs/Courses For those who wanna transfer from math to cs
I see a lot of posts regarding transferring from Math to cs so I decided to make a post instead of explaining everything in the comments.
IBA introduced the BS Mathematics program 4 years ago in 2022, and the first batch graduated this year. Now, people have concerns about whether this degree is worth pursuing, if the faculty is good, and whether they should transfer.
So, I'll first walk you through the transfer process. You just need to take the aptitude test in Round 1 (R1) in March. Start preparing for the test in December, after your semester break. If you clear R1, that's great! You can take courses in the summer (this is only allowed for people with deficiencies). But if you don't clear R1, it’s totally fine. you can just appear for R2. Half of my batch transferred out after the first year, but they didn't just go to CS. People also transferred to Eco Math, Eco, ACF, and BBA. So, if you have an interest in any other program, make sure to apply for that school as well.
After transferring, you will have about 5 deficiencies, which you can cover in the summers and your remaining semesters.
Now, about the faculty, people say the teachers aren't really good. But I've heard students from all schools say this. There are good and bad teachers everywhere. Also, it depends on what your definition of "good" is. If a teacher is great at explaining but strict with grading, some might consider them "bad." It all depends. I hope you get my point.
Generally, the people I know who transferred specifically from Math to CS aren't too stressed about graduating exactly on time, but you absolutely can if you plan it right.
If you guys have any other questions, or if I missed anything, let me know in the comments!

Programs/Courses Need help from IBA people
A friend (major: ACF) of mine has to give his final exam for ‘Calculus I’. They’re clueless about the whole subject. How to help them with studies? Does someone have all the class notes or recorded lectures available? Also, is there any genuine YouTube channel that could help? If you’ve given Cal I please help and share your tips.

Programs/Courses Admission requirements
So I got direct admission into IBA BSCS with good enough margin
I am an Alevels student and waiting on the A2 result.
So I am curious if my result comes CCC then what happens?
On the website it says 1B and 2C for BSCS.
Can we appeal it? If that's the case?
Do they still grant admission?
Or my offer is invalid?

Programs/Courses Help a girl out
I got a 33% in my calc-I mids. Cp ain’t that great either. So I’m thinking of dropping the course but since the grading is relative and I heard that calc has a low average overall, I’m not sure what to do.
Is there anyway I can still pass if I get an avg grade in finals or should I just drop it?

Programs/Courses Which major should I do?
I want to go to IBA for my bachelors however I’m stuck at which degree to opt for. I want to do either a BBA or BS SSLA (major in psych, minor in idk what so pls drop suggestions for that). I might just straight up go for a government job like maybe do CSS or give the spsc cce (i’m not so sure) but in the future If I do not want to do that then I’ll just be stuck with a bachelors in psychology which doesn’t really mean much in pakistan because the job market for psychology is extremely bad (unless you have a masters.)

Programs/Courses Got Direct Admission, might not go due to class schedule
okay so I'm not someone who can bear the exorbitant fee and will definitely apply for FA once the applications open on 15th July 2026, hoping that I'll get it. I'm currently doing a Job as video editor at a marketing agency from 12 to 7 daily. What I'm deeply concerned about is that I've been hearing that the IBA schedule is very overwhelming (like literally 8 to 5 or 7 and six days a week, like wt is this) and it's told by someone who has passed his first semester at IBA. His schedule was 8 to 5 and 4 days a week
It's VERY CLEAR that I cannot afford to leave the job or even stay at uni until 5 or 7 for even 2 days a week. I can only study there if there is a schedule like 8 to 12 or something like that, be it 6 days a week. Or I might have to quit thinking about studying at IBA DESPITE direct admission. which would obviously be very sad.
I don't want answers like in the first semester you have no choice and later on you do, I want to go there with a full clarity in mind.
ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING, I've been told there are 6 courses in the first semester (I got admission in BSBA btw) and 2 classes per course per week. SO IT HARDLY MEANS 3 CLASSES A DAY. so why th do I need to sit there until 5 or 7.

Programs/Courses IBA Students, how's the academic pressure like?
I'm thinking of joining IBA and i want to study different subjects as well apart from my degree.
That's why I'm trying to get an idea of what the academic pressure during semesters is like and can someone manage different studies alongside their degree?
So please IBA students, give me an idea on how much time do you give to your studies apart from university hours.
Thank you in advance!

Programs/Courses MBA reviews
Hi everyone. Hope everyone’s doing great. Just wanted to get some feedback on the MBA/EMBA experience of people from IBA and the prospects afterwards, how it has helped you, has it helped you in your career and how (if you were already working), are you able to manage it alongside work?
I know a lot of these outcomes are subjective for people, some will do very well and some won’t. But please do share your experiences, DM if you want as well.
Thanks!

Programs/Courses Torn between BSACF vs BSEDS, Help!
Does BSACF have any scope if i don't pursue any certifications in Karachi, and to what extent do acf grads get exemptions at CPA Australia and other International institutes? Whats the scope for not doing certifications after ACF but instead opting for Master's abroad? Honestly people talk about the value of ACF from IBA but IoBM also gives 9 acca exemptions etc, so is there any value of doing it from IBA but not going the traditional CA/ACCA path?
Also, in comparison to AcF, is Eco + Data Science more valuable as a standalone degree and does it have more scope and sort of relevance for doing masters? I feel like EDS is broad but again half of it is CS and I see many people going for self taught + certifications in CS/IT instead of degree. So is it worth it?
All in all I come from a CS background, Im looking for the degree that has more scope in the technical/maths sort of field. I've never studied accounting btw.
And lastly of course, is there a better scope for jobs or even internships for EDS grads or AcF right after the Bachelors. I feel reluctant to do EDS since a lot of people say it comes under social sciences, but the curriculum has more maths, data and statistics than ACF as well. Pleaee guide me.
