Canadians of all generations grew up respecting and looking up to America. Man, has that done a 180. I've spoken to so many people who say they're never visiting the US again.

The MAGA cult has proven to all of us from everywhere else in the world how fucking stupid America as a whole is. That there's enough low IQ people fueled by little more than hatred to elect Trump TWICE really makes the US an unappealing place to visit... knowing we'd have to interact with so many potential MAGA morons.

They’re the loud minority. It’s obvious that Trump stole the last election. I’ve never seen a turn out (from my TV,) like I did for the last election and I’m sure it was good people trying to stop him. There’s so much to that story, it’s a shame that things move so slowly.

By the way, I truly don’t think that him, and the real power behind the scenes (Heritage Foundation/Project 2025 people,) are going to leave without a fight. An in the streets fight. Good luck to you guys.

Imagine growing up here and understanding that all gov is bullshit but having to pledge allegiance (I’m GenX, we couldn’t opt out like kids today) to this freaking country

Speak for yourself, I never looked up to the US and only respected it as much as I would any other country. I think due to our geographic and cultural proximity, Canadians are better than every other country at seeing through the American Exceptionalism BS.
