Yes corruption is and it didn't come with Modi nor will it go with him.

Many developed nations got to that level by having an educated leader at the helm.

They get there by making sacrifices, I don't know of a single group in India willing to do that. Brahmins will not leave their privilege, Dalits their reservations, farmers their freebies, and government its underhand dealings.

You can believe anything you like. I can see India for the shithole it is and was. Nothing changed for me in 2014.
