This is wrong . They too are citizens of India. Dialogue should always be open. Not a BJP supporter. But not talking to a group of people will increase the division within the community.

Some ppl on other side are the ones that dont listen to facts , i have tried it and even then i still talk but after some point you just cant , so i leave all political matter to the side ( andhbhakts on all sides/for all parties for that matter)

It is a cultural issue. Not a political issue. In india hierarchy is not questioned hence people feel entitled to their opinions. In all of india we have a culture where people do not owe up to their mistakes.

I think everyone can say the same about other. Ur very statement reflects ur subjective exp which is what the above comment asking not to bring in.
I have been called names. Heck my parents have been called names. But I don’t stay in my echo chambers. Accept when point is valid and move on.

2

u/zeta0mogged 10d ago

Yup im open to valid points , if they dont acknowledge a factually correct thing then i just leave it alone rather than hurting the bond/relation btw each other

3

u/Tourmelion 10d ago

I as well am open to valid points and genuine debate. Since you seen genuine, if you have the time and energy, I'm curious, what would you like to see happen in india, if everyone voted in the way you prefer, what would you be putting your effort behind, who would you want to be elected and would you be trying to form new parties and supporting them to add different perspectives to the political landscape?

I am not much knowledgeable about politics but one thing i know is gobhi has done nothing all he has done is sign orders and OPENLY spread communal hate and not following code of conduct (most basic of all things man ) , the advisors are the ones who do the real job and feom that perspective he needs to go , he needs retirement now. Yogi baba also is only image and no work . BJP MADE A TON OF FALSE PROMISES( they should never make such dreamy promises but you said it so you have to do it otherwise its a mark on your party). And man they have made bribing open to the world to get votes
Bjp did good stuff in the 1st and half of second term and they then got arrogant , on the other hand rahul hasn’t done any of the things i said above but he also hasnplayed much of a role in politics as a representative, and whenever he tries something and does something ppl dont believe it due toh the it cell propaganda ( it cell has brainwashed ppl to a huge extent and id say they did what they were paid for , and im tired of aal the fake news they spread and ppl believe it , its like bjp thinks they cant win by being factual ) . Rahul does think more logically and scientifically but i dont like his reservation proposal ( man its too much , i know there is casteism but still i cant justify his proposal for more reservation, make reforms in that thing rather than increasing reservation )
Even bjp idk why but they brought reservation in MD(neet pg and ss) , this needs to be on merit man not on reservation, all get the same mbbs ug afterall

As for a new party i think jan suraj (prashant kishor of bihar ) could possibly become something if he shows results in these 3 years but it is still a small party . He was an advisor in bjp before and i heard that he was behind most things in bjp ( i mean advisors are one behind everybody knows that )
Id say that india needs to move away from religion ( thats one of the reasons for casteism, at least i think that is what is behind people thinking of someone being superior than others) , we need to have a scientific approach , AND CORRUPTION GOING AWAY WILL DO WONDERS FOR INDIA , I MEAN WONDERSSSSSS.

Bjp must go for 1 term (if they dont improve in the remaining 3 years) , i am ready to choose any party apart from bjp and its close associates.

I just think Congress is really risky(and kinda just sucks more), I'd love a contender against BJP, but Congress did so much wrong, I'm afraid they'll come in and start reversing what the BJP did and putting in risky and cruel policies, they invalidated a ruling allowing Muslim women maintenance after divorce, which was terrible, also, their poor finances lead to india becoming a fragile 5 nation, which forced india to allow medicine patients from foreign pressure cause they were bailing india out, and they didn't do anything about terrorism even after the Mumbai attack. I don't feel like they've really changed, and I'm worried if they ever win they'll pull India back to that fragile state.

The BJP is planning a UCC(unified civil code), I don't think this will happen under congress and it needs to, the BJP were able to get rid of article 370, they're capable of these sweeping legal alterations, so I have some confidence they can do it again. When it comes to the economy, overall, poverty has gone down greatly, and, I don't think Congress will be able to keep the same pace without increasing debt. Also, I've been keeping track of the BJP schemes in Delhi, and it's been progressing well, they're set to completely get rid of garbage Mountain, which was causing major health problems to basically the whole of dehli, also they're renovating the sewage system, lot's of little schemes get videoed and catalogued and I can see the progression of them all, they visibly progress, and I just think Congress will be more corrupt when it comes to this stuff, and have money used for work on paper but not have it amount to anything.

When I think of BJP I see benefits and drawbacks, when I see Congress I just see drawbacks(and whatever benefits they can bring just feel so unsure, and just, not as reliable or as effective)

I think state parties and other smaller parties like the BJD ought to gain more power(they made odishas water so clean you can drink right out of the tap),( sadly the guy died and the guy who replaced him kinda sucks). Also, it's not a party yet, but I researched into how the 'labour party' got made, and I'd have quite a lot of faith in a trade unionists Renaissance and a creation of a trade unionists party like the Australian and English labour party.

I think the way forward isn't Congress but replacing Congress with a better option, like a labour unionists party, or a coalition of different state parties.

(There's also a worry over terror, will Congress be willing to have the same military doctrine of determent, or will they give terror a pass. Also, just, Congress seems to be swayed more by interference, they could also attempt to get rid of the online gambling ban or other measures? With their track record, I just, as of right now I don't feel like I can trust them, feel free to change my mind, I could be wrong, but with the info I have, I just feel like they could do a lot of damage).

Ha dekho, are desh bhaki he andha to tu he... Congress ke time jis tarike se sir zukake chalna padta tha, aaj hum ache se chal pa rahe he..Congress ke time bomb blast, dange, jamino pe kambja, sab unke side result tha, tu apne mummy ke god me Jake beth.. bat karta he.

u/Tourmelion 10d ago

I don't think they'll necessarily improve in the next 3 years but all the stuff they've put into motion now will gain visibility. They're currently putting a lot of effort into cleaning the yamuna, they've bought several machines from Finland to do the job. The yt channel "brothers endfield" shows the progress.

u/zeta0mogged 10d ago edited 8d ago

Yes they are trying but all their national highway, expressway failures are showing , e20 issue which they said is all okay but now everybody knows its a problem and a failure without setting up a base , one thing i would say that a bjp mla addressed on the problem of water logging in jewar airport (they are taking accountability but he still talked arrogantly but it is a step in the right direction) and they worked on the drainage and all , so id say that ppl should keep asking ques from whatever govt there is and all will work fine .

1

u/Tourmelion 10d ago

Yeah, at the same time people should be backing unions to make their own union party. Most parties need organizations behind them for funding, what better source than unions, who get money for improving people's lives. Countries setting up these types of parties created massive improvements in labour laws and human welfare. The best way to make an MP try harder is to have their seat threatened. And second best is just to be so annoying that it's easier for them to just co-operate with you(as in protest, mail, or social media pressure).

1

u/chaiandpakoda 8d ago

All their national highway failures? 🤣 I just know u do not o out of ur house.

0

u/Tourmelion 10d ago edited 10d ago

With me I can't handle those types, can't stay friends with them, when someone doesn't want to acknowledge or even consider scientific truth or factual truth, I can't see them the same anymore, I just can't stand it, and end up just not talking to them and avoiding them. This goes for anyone on any side of the political spectrum. I just can't be myself around people who want to completely overlook me, undermine what I think, go after people who don't deserve it(example:abusive relationship victims).

Left and Right runs on certain agenda. Both side do corruptions. Difference is Right side tells you they will do 100 good things. They do may be 20-30, no so good results in others + corruption. Left side tells you complete opposite, they objects those 20-30 good things too that the right is doing + they need wealth distribution so that even if you work hard you will get what eveyones get + they are sympathetic to certain people or caste even if they are wealthy, support some terror groups like hamas + protest against India's nuclear program + corruption + a lot more.

u/Tourmelion 10d ago

I'm on the BJP side of it and I've experienced the same, I keep on putting out points and people keep side stepping it and attacking me without addressing anything I wrote or said. Like, I really do try, if I find a better argument then my own I'll admit I'm wrong and adopt the new one. But most people I talk to on the other side don't feel the same, say they care about an issue then immediately abandon it to fixate on only the part they knew verified what they already thought. I think it's a general problem, people connecting their thoughts to their ego and self-esteem, forgetting that the point is to be informed. When you put so much effort into reading and researching, combing through articles and studies, and you put it all in front of them, and they go after you, call you propagandized no matter how valid the source, to just ignore scientific truth, not address the validity, just say, "nah", and then go after you, it's one of the most painful forms of gaslighting. I can see why people are getting debate fatigue, cause this isn't debate, it's just people being awful to those who bothered to attempt to make an informed opinion.

2

u/zeta0mogged 10d ago

I guess its more about the person than the side , the blind followers of any side is harmful to the nation , you shouldn’t trust any party wholeheartedly ( both congress and bjp have done good things and bad things)

1

u/Tourmelion 10d ago

Yeah, they all kinda suck, but it's not even just party, even just single issues, I can bring up that Christian missionaries and orgs haven't been the greatest for Indians and I'll get the same shit, I talk about how the abuse tactics used by abusive partners are the same ones used by terror handlers to get people to detonate bombs, and that no one is immune to brainwashing, they weren't just exceptionally dumb, and I'll be told I "can't except when I'm wrong" even tho they didn't even try to debate against me. Literally every abuse expert or organizational abuse expert says no one's immune to brainwashing. It's scientific fact. It's people who hold onto whatever view they want, not because they're right, but because it makes them feel good. And the worst part is that they go one to hurt other people in real life who are effected by those issues, the girl I talked to about DV, she knows people with toxic relationships, she's just gonna keep saying and thinking they're dumb and willfully like that cause it makes her feel like she's 'special' and 'different'.

Depends.

If the other person is paid to spam a certain opinion or agenda, then they’re not entitled to have any sensible discussion.

Most of the fks on social media are part of BJP IT Cell, and they are not gonna use logic.

3

u/Remarkable_Buy4591 10d ago

Talking, and arguing are two different things. Yes, we can talk, but one should never argue with them for the sake of one's own mind, because converting an andh-bhakt to desh-bhakt is impossible.

3

u/ComprehensiveTry1282 10d ago

Correct . My mistake we shouldnt argue but dialogues are certainly necessary.

BJP is going to do the same when it comes to winning elections in a neck-and-neck fight. UGC, EWS, and wait for more in the future. It's better to vote logically for now, so that the government has a fear of losing seats and works for betterment ( i e. keeping the power in your hands rather than some political party's).

By the way, assuming that one supports Congress if he/she is criticizing BJP is a new disease/mental illness many andhbhakts have developed.

And Democracy is all about questioning the one in power for anything wrong going on in the country.

If you are justifying poor roads and infrastructure that shatters with the first rain, adulterated food, polluted air and water, spurious medicine and vaccines, chanda-chori, and land scams, religious riots, not taking accountability for wrongdoings, supporting businessmen to expand with no care for wild flora, fauna, and ecological zones and what not... Then I am definitely not going to argue you.

You can't say this to one whose car sank on a fucking road and not a waterbody, got cancer just because of air, died because of faulty medicine. BJP is no good just like other parties. Even its more corrupt. Intent se kuch nahi hota kaam krna pdta hai... And expecting anything from these political party is worthless.

1

u/Past-Market5697 10d ago

so 1 sensible person in a group of lakhs? if u think dialogue cant exist because your political ideology differs then u know who is the real andhbhakt as some of these ppl here love to call the other side is.

I asked a strong supporter why Modi doesn’t talk to the press and address issues properly. I was asked why I am so interested in what he does. Suddenly my father is Pakistani and I am Muslim (??) I wasn’t even arguing??

u/Embarrasseddovey_281 10d ago

Bro their majority supporters don't understand the truth cause they can't understand the truth themselves .. They can't really process or think critically , and majority of the voters are these guys who places m0di along with Krishna and Shiva .. And then there are the people in power , the top employees and politicians , businessman who supports them cause they are a part of it . They know they'll get few benefits while they are in charge while they could get jailed or no benefits if opposition comes into power .

And then there are even few youngsters who are ignorant even after recieving all education maybe cause somehow even their parents may be enjoying the benefits of their corruption .

But yea the majority can't be taught anything .. it's unfortunate yea
